I might make a swap between Calafiori and Gabriel. Tarkowski could maybe go for Muñoz he’s got decent fixtures too. I’ll give Saka one more week since I’m only willing to make two transfers, so this is his last chance.

Point of my idea was to save transfers and get a bit ahead of the curve. After international break everyone will want part of Liverpool, United, Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. Due to the pricing and form CP and Cherries are much easier to get to, I already have 3x from those teams. And I will have 3 transfers to get some Liverpool or United in. I think swapping Calafiori to Gabriel is not enough to waste a transfer. Yeah, you chose wrong but there is no getting that decision back or those points. Restructuring your team in the process if you want to do that is transfer much better used. And looking at Arsenal I know I don't want Gjokeres or Saka, they are just too expansive for what they provide. I am pissed at myself I didn't take Raya instead of Pope on WC, thinking I need Saka.

I already have four players from the teams mentioned. And I'm actually glad that, due to some uncertainty, I can transfer Gyökeres early (since I've had him since Week 1, and getting two points a week while paying 9 million is a bit annoying). If I were confident the price wouldn't drop before the deadline, I'd find a replacement for him by rotating.

In short, the situation doesn't look good, as I'll either have to go -4 to save 0.1 million (and make an early transfer). But even if this transfer is done for free, it is still bad, since in a couple of weeks the form of any of the members of my team could deteriorate, get injured, etc.

But that's only half the problem.

It's unclear who could be a worthy replacement. Ekitiké could be a good fit, but his minutes and consistency are questionable. Watkins has one goal in 10 matches (I think this is his worst start to the season).

That leaves either Welbeck or Woltemade (although Newcastle have their first match after the break against Man City). There are also Thiago and Kroupi, who would free up a lot of money, but where can I spend it if I have no transfers?

Gyökeres and Kudus both are at risk of not playing in my team which sounds really bad.    Kudus is more likely to play of course. But it says there is a 50% chance to play for Gyökeres.

Arteta didn't want to risk him in the Slavia Praha match. Maybe and hopefully this can help him recover faster. There are still 2 more days. It's sad to see this happening just after he scored one last week.

I think for Arsenal, Gyokeres have been confirmed to be ruled out until after the international break, so he definitely won't be playing this weekend, and to be honest Arsenal offensive assets too have been pretty disappointing regardless of how easy the fixture have appeared, but their defensive has been rock solid, tripling up from game 1 would have had anyone in the top 1% of the game so far this season I believe, I just don't know if it's still worth a try knowing that after Sunderland, Arsenal does have some really tricky fixtures lined up for sure.

I currently have two injury doubt in my squad Alderete, a back up defender whom I can live with being out without being bothered all season long, but Ndiaye also being a doubt vs Fulham might force me into making some decisions, naturally I would have played him regardless with Reijnders next in line to come in as the first substitution option, however, the with Guardiola back to an almost fully healthy squad Reijnders minutes is under serious threat, it's not as though he even started the last game, and have only played more than 60 minutes once in the last 3 games, so ideally I would have to replace one or the other.

Yes, that’s nothing but the truth, EPL injury rating is as shitty as it gets when it comes to false alarms, and it’s never been something I tend to rely on at all at the same time, but honestly I was looking to hop on the Sarr train while I would have been comfortable with Reijnders at 5.5m as a bench player until I have a wc or some other reasons like budget to get him out, I don’t need the extra City slot right now anyway, I guess this one I’d have to watch closely as having both Ndiaye and Sarr could come at extra cost when we approach the AFCON window isn’t very off  anymore.

I don't even see how you managed a score this big, it was a whole team effort with points from most of the players while midfielders let the rest of us down. Usually it is a monster haul from one player.

My backline made good my choices, with Arsenal defense being the ultimate, not willing to conceive but, enter into precise tables and win defensive contribution points, Crystal Palace also having the likes of Guehi and Munoz to meet up same standard as Arsenal in defensive contributions, I just knew it was a good pick for the GW. I wasn’t expecting much from Minteh and was looking to see him out but, he delivered anyway and Ndiaye did just what I brought him in to do. It was a good GW and would see what becomes of GW11.

I could still remember Manchester United and Chelsea biding for this lad and he was actually placed at 100 million valuation then, I don’t think Manchester United and Chelsea have both missed out on a striker before that I had agreed with and he was certainly one of them I did agree with that he was too expensive.

I think Wood and the likes of Dominic Solanke now are simply not any where a good option too because you have players like Isidor and Richarlison or Kolo Muani in ahead of them respectively, I think I will personally pick any of them or even go for Brentford Thiago than the three above.

In this specific GW I felt Saka was a better option than Haaland, I think even Mateta is a better option.
Still - Liverpool have been shaky lately and going against Haaland in his current form is not the smartest move - so I went with the herd again.

Saka did well for you today - Haaland now needs 2 goals to outscore him. Possible? Sure. Probable? Well, not really.

It’s a huge risk to not consider Haaland for captaincy, man has been consistent this season and picking someone else is just a wild gamble.
