That deal was actually a bad deal right from the very beginning not because I think Sterling was actually a bad player but because he never deserved such huge amount in wages. No one would tell me that they weren’t seeing his decline right at Manchester City so even if Chelsea were to take a gamble on him by signing him permanently the wages should be such a way that if it goes south they can easily sell him off but such a wage and also long term contract was simply bad business from the start.

Sterling was butted out of the squad not because he wasn’t good enough because I still rate him higher than most wingers Chelsea currently have but he was most certainly drop because Chelsea since last season have been trying to actually reduce their wage load and that’s why they even offer to cut his contract short

It isn't for nothing, he was on extremely high wages and he'd probably expect it again - especially considering that there's no transfer fee included.

I'm currently on a -4 for this round as well, but I hate the fact that I have too many City - Liverpool match assets, a 4-3 or 3-3 scoreline could be the only that that'd save my game week, while I like my team going forward and the probable changes I plan to make over the next few rounds...

I don't want to do an extra -4 to bringing a different Arsenal or Man United asset for Wilson or Cherki, It doesn't seem like a worthy risk, because both players too aren't doing too bad, and I'll expect a start from Cherki even though listed as questionable on the FPL site.

Now that he has been out of the game for a long time, he will struggle if he is ever brought back to the first team (if his suspension ends).
