After not using my wildcard at the same time with others around me I got nervous at first. But thankfully my squad handled it nicely despite not using a chip.

I should make the right move on this gameweek not to give any hope to my direct opponents. I can't take the risk of having a terrible double gameweek.

And just to add a bit more incentive and maybe make some of you do crazy things....hhampuz decided to not take his reward and to send double the free bet to next GW winner. That means DGW - double free bets for some lucky bastard.

It sounds really interesting. Then this is going to be an extra motivation for me while preparing my squad for this gameweek.

I decided to change my team last night. I had a feeling this was going to be another one of those weeks where I plan on making the changes a couple of hours before the deadline but miss it (again). Thankfully, I managed to make the changes. Now it is all about waiting to see if I can accumulate any significant points.

Well i went all in like most of us are gonna do i believe. I know im gonna be punished in the next round but i dont give so much importance to that since im way behind in the fight for the prize positions, so for me my only aim is in try to win a round and try to be the most higher points in a round at the end of the season.

Lets see if my gamble paid me off or not-

I know I am far too back to make an impact now but I honestly feel as though I would be in the top ten if I had not missed all of those weeks of not changing my team because of the transfer deadlines. This was the first season I participated and if I am unable to mount some challenge to get closer to the top ten with just six matches remaining, it might be my last attempt too.

It doesn’t have to be your last attempt, I like how you started you know, you were even in the top 5 at the start of the season. Most players don’t make that match, a little consistency by not dropping points below the average will keep you in a prize position through the season. It’s quite normal to miss out on some GWs in your first season and even how best to utilize your chips and I’ve always wasted my chip every other season, just trying not to repeat the same mistake this season. I still hope you can push to end somewhere close to the top 10 you know, top 10 might not be possible but, you can make 15th or closer. Make it happen!

Give me Mavro's points haul without captaincy any day of the week! As you know, I had Bowen, and I decided to keep him instead of DGW-ing others. I know I should have done so but with this shit copy paste squad I have, I will need all my FTs after Blank to rebuild. How exactly, I'm still not sure, but I'll figure it out.

I feel as though the biggest errors I made in my first season were not about selecting the wrong teams, I think those (at least) thirteen occasions where I did not update my team because I kept missing the deadline, they have affected the outcome of my final league position.

Selecting a team days before the deadline ensures you have made the changes, I think that has to be the best policy.

I guess DCL was going to be a must have over Bowen and right after the DWG he also have a more favorable fixture against Burnley which was why I made the switch, but I wouldn't even consider making him captain when there is the almighty Haaland that's probably thinking to way to punish Arsenal, and I'm all up for it!

I hope I won't regret keeping Tarkowski also who isn't a part of double-game format this week. I'd be really happy if he plays big like Mavropanos did the last time.

Adding double chips to this game was a huge mistake; this game is best played without chips, and I hate how my chip weeks are always the "terrible" ones. 10+ points  blown away after the first match day.

Big4uge is having the best BB week of his life - 14 points off the bench already and there's still O'Reilly + they're are DGW players except Bruno.

Gross is amazing! I can see why you aren't happy with not having him. He literally got all three BPS for that long-range assist. Mitoma was also a great pick too (though RIP to the ones who bought Diego Gomez).

That situation affects all managers. Sometime we select a team and get almost every player right for that week and accumulate points, then we do not change for the following week and it is a disaster with a few points. When you select players that picked up injuries, you feel disappointed. I suppose it is all part of the learning process but it can be very frustrating.

I was fairly sure Bournemouth would win, I cannot recall when I last added a player from Newcastle United. Having said that, I was fairly sure Chelsea would win but Manchester United beat them. Football

Chelsea don’t play like one of those teams that wants to be in the champions league next season, possibly anticipating being kicked out once again by PSG like Real Madrid has always done to Manchester City every other season, lol… they were disappointing yesterday though, they couldn’t get a goal at home to share points with Manchester United. They might be playing in the Europa after all, that’s if Brentford doesn’t come for that spot.

Mehn, the GW isn’t done yet and I’ve being kicked out of the top 5 as expected, well played guys, not using the BB and FH when it would have mattered the most just got me good.

Semenyo looked terrible today. At least Haaland scored finally after blanking 4-5 games which was good news. If he puts on a show against Burnley it'd help me a lot in the standings!

Semenyo looked terrible today.

Semenyo has been a regular player for Pep since he joined Manchester City; he has been good in many games. It is normal if he has one bad game. Hincapie was very good as well on that win, so it was not all just him. Hincapie held him down pretty well. Or could he have played poorly intentionally? We know he is an Arsenal fan

My another regret is not to have Cherki in my squad... 

Magic feet; he's a baller! Pep is very good with identifying these players, just as he brought in Khusanov, who is showing some solidity now, unlike when he first came.

Cherki was a late addition for me in my team and i am glad i brought him in. I just hope he starts against Burnley on Wednesday, because i expect Pep to make some alterations to his squad for that game. Especially after this tense game against Arsenal today, he'd have to manage some players and keep them fresh for the run-in.

However, Semenyo has been getting goals for City since he joined, but for someone that watches all City games, i can tell you that his overall play hasn't been the best. So if you take out the goals, he doesn't do much, like you saw today.

I didn't want to go for Semenyo only to be honest. Because I was waiting for my opponents to pick him and I didn't like his recent performances too. Captaining Haaland helped me stay safer from my nearest opponent B1g4udge as well at least for now.

Damn, Gross pick will be my ruin. Decided to go with Hinshelwood instead and Gross got 2 assists in 2 games - and a bonus in this one.

That's a huge difference - and Gross should not have been the guy to make it. Gross was supposed to be just a guy playing 90 and having a 15% chance of an assist.

Well played man, Cherki is the bane of my existence this season. I have been saying whole season he is the best player in the league but Pep wasn't agreeing with me while I had him. Now that I sold him, now he sees it and Cherki finally plays the minutes he deserves and points are coming. Only problem, I don't have him anymore.
