Brighton boys survived Chelsea and Arsenal; any other fixtures should be easy esp against a shitty Liverpool side - I'm with them all through the season.

What a complete piece of shit is having Wissa, right now is even worse, he is doing not good and now Newcaslte is also having a bad run, how they can allow 4 goals from Coventry?. I know we resume football and is the first game after a long break but how they forget how to play?.

After this week I think I will stop chasing players that are playing the three newly promoted sides because it has never worked this season, I got affected with the Fulham vs Ipswich game and then Coventry vs Newcastle game too. I think the promoted side this season aren’t an easy push over and surprising I think this season we might see the very first time in a long while that all three of the promoted teams are not getting relegated if we are judging by the current table rankings and performance.

Seems DEFCON should be the metric one is chasing with all this defenders, not all full backs can be De Cuyper or Calafiori

It's easier said than done, FPL is always tilted that way that we all go for players that supposedly have favorable matches lined up, the same way that a lot of people are going for Fulham assets right now, which I really still don't think it wrong, it's not as though they're selling Haaland for Gonzalo or Palmer for Josh King, these are transfers that the alternatives are also not as clear as the day.

However, I said it the last time, that some of those fixtures only appear good on paper, but in hindsight, Coventry was never supposed to be an easy fixtures at home for Newcastle, but when you're factoring multiple games like that ahead, it becomes easier to go with, since someone or two good ones is going to be enough to gain decent rank, Wissa have not repaid that faith at all, I would have had at least 12 or thereabout more points If I had went for Barry instead on my wildcard, but I'm not selling Wissa yet, he's going to playout his tenure on my team for the same reason why I can't sell Saka yet, even if there might be better alternatives, the free transfers are now more valuable than they were before my wildcard.

Of course, at least 2 of your defenders, especially the cheaper ones, where a cleansheet chance is almost non-existent, the DEFCON are always the primary attributes to look of out, those are the ones you can easily play even on tough match days.

I just checked your squad to see the Brighton guys you are using and understood how beautiful they have performed. You activated your wildcard and got 86 points, that's good. I could have gotten such points too because my squad wasn't bad if not for the wrong choice of captaincy.

It is nice to not be the bottom placed team, maybe it will change again but I am hoping to slowly start climbing the table now especially with all of chips still available to use. I suppose it might be worth celebrating if your team climbs two places in the table but in my case I was bottom

I thought City were going to have a very tough game against Liverpool because of all the noise from outside, so i took Haaland off captain duties and went with Bruno Fernandes instead, it turned out to be a bad decision. I think for a manager in and around the top of our pool table, the safest option is simply to leave Haaland as captain for most of the season, he will deliver more often than not, which makes up for when he doesn't.

I cant say im "chasing" that players but i feel like you need to ahve some of them if you want to have a chance, some of that players liberates money for better players in other parts of the team plus if you nail the few players that are in shit teams but scores a lot of points in a early phase of the game could make you jump a lot of positions and put you as a serious contender.

I believe that in this game you need to be versatile and you have to know when let it go a player no matter his surname, in that phase im pretty bad and im being rigid and that kills me.

It's easy if you don't overthink it. My advice is whenever you're in a confuse state and don't know what to do, leave the captain on Halaand

My second advice; without Halaand, you're already going against the entire pool and everytime he scores, you're the hit by 90% of the pool. How do you survive that? Sell everyone on your team and get Halaand.

The wildcard was supposed to have been used but even after stating I would change the team before the deadline, something happened and took my attention away. By the time I managed to think about the team, the deadline had already passed. It made me quite disappointed to not use the wildcard but as I had accumulated enough points to no longer remain bottom of the table, I think I can accept that.

I will have to add Haaland for this week regardless of the chips used.

That's exactly why I have been getting it wrong. Haaland is a must for me from this game week, if he flops we all go down for it and if he performs we all benefit.

Another GW, another dilemma: who to transfer and for whom? I'm still in a dilemma over whether to do a swap between Donnarumma and Verbruggen. Verbruggen has some tough fixtures incoming, and City has Ipswich, Villa, and Brighton. But if I do that, I'm short 0.6 mil, so I need another transfer, and for that situation, Wissa pops up first. But then I'll only have 2 strikers and the third one will be on the bench. Dilemmas, dilemmas.

When I saw Isak who was announced to be injured way early before the deadline still in your team I was so sure you missed the deadline yet again without making your transfers. Sometimes we wait for a longer time to make transfers because of probably late news but I will say that’s limited to free transfers. With wild card activated you can make changes any time until the deadline passes. So for me I will say make transfers early on wild card and do other changes later if there need be.

Is there is special way to use Brighton assets other than just playing them and hope for the best ?

I sincerely hope there will be positive updates from Iraola concerning Szoboszlai, it would be save me the headache of panic-buying Gross when I'll be having him bench for the next 2 GWs after this, but If I have Gross, there is no way I'll bench him against Palace.

The only way out for me is too play 4 at the back, which is still a good combination with Hall and De Cuyper pairing alongside two Arsenal defense, I guess that's the way to go, and I'll have achieved accumulating 5 transfers with any major compromise.

Verbruggen is going to be my biggest concern for the next two, but here's a question for those with the intention of switching with Kinsky, do you play Kinsky vs Chelsea or Verbruggen vs Liverpool ?

I'll have Verbruggen all through until I'll need to switch up my defense with Saliba return beginning to make proper waves, then pick up Raya for a set and forget switch, I'll probably make two or three transfers next GW as the need arrives, or a guaranteed one since it will go to waste If I don't use it anyway.

I am already studying the players and matches for the coming weekend. Hopefully, I will overhaul my squad and can improve my position in the league table.
