Well probably he wont be sacked anytime soon but this totally prove that Pep is not as good as everyone think he is at this point. When some of his vital players are out because of injury, his whole teams turned into shit

He was lucky that he start his career on Barcelona with Prime Messi in it, move to Bayern Munich which was literally the best club in Bundesliga then got a job in Manchester City with all the tops player that he can get his hands on. Totally happy to watch Manchester City lose again tonight, nothing can really beat his depressed face  

I need Feyenoord - Sparta Prague to be over 5.5 goals tonight or else Im going to suffer the 5% cut lol

Celtic and PSV screwed me over yesterday, at least I didn't incur a 5% penalty yet again, but with the way I'm tanking right now, even avoiding all any penalties possible wouldn't make any difference at the end of the day.

I want to flex a little.

3rd place in pool A for Match day 6.

Now placed in 12th position for pool A overall on the leaderboards. Considering I missed 7 match predictions for match day 1, I'd say I'm impressed with my progress so far even though the job's not done yet. I'm shitty in pool B, btw. Nothing to flex about over there, haha.

I'm enjoying UCL pool better than FPL. I was just terrible at FPL.

Great day for my Pot B predictions, Juventus won against Disaster City, and Stuttgart smashed Old Boys with 5:1, earning 22.70 for me in this round.
Now I really need to step up my game in superbru pool, and somehow stop leea-1334 in Pot B 

Went with over 5,5 in the Atalanta - Real game, incredible that there were no goals in the last 30 minutes.
Story of my season, but I've said goodbye to this pool after the first 2 rounds anyway.

Why giving up so easy?
There is always a chance to create big comeback, maybe not in superbru but you can do it in Pot B I think.
I am doing poor in superbru but difference in leaderboard is not that big from top players.

I am quite happy with the results so far, in Pot B I can still maintain position in the top 5 and Pot A has seen a significant increase in level from the MD6 results, but with the UCL still a long way to go anything can still happen, and especially in Pot B if we are lucky we can get around 40 points from just one match, but clearly this is not an easy thing to do because after all this is just a prediction so the chances of winning are the same as losing, get points or nothing.

City losing was no surprise, their bad luck has not stopped.

After missing out making any entries on match day 5, am now just making picks on free style mode  I had some very close ones as well especially with the Borussia - Barca over 5,5
I haven't even made a total of 40 points and someone is already past the 100 point mark, hahaha.

I'm one of the 3 users who got max point on real Madrid, Vini is back and Mbappe starting from his favorite position, they needed that point more than Atalanta that was enough motivation for picking them. Lost 4 points on danm Leipzig.

I knew they would eventually get here. They can still lose 2 games and go to playoff from the looks of it, which is for them no problem.

Leipzig is the worst seeded team in this phase, can't believe them either.

Imho, a proof that this new CL format is actually an improvement over the old one as in that case those 3 clubs (and others) would probably qualify for the next round after first 3 games and then play rest of the games with 2nd squad.

Damn you all who got the Bologna stalemate spot on. leea-1334 profited the most, jumping right up to top spot to be the first to collect 100 points in Pot B. In Pot A we have Rikafip standing pretty... and I'm nowhere close to prize spots.

A rewarding round for those who went goalless or goalfest, and on the back of it, these were the right games to put money on too. Special mention to LFC_Bitcoin who went big on Juve's (not shocking) win. Not sure why I didn't back that... oh, I know, because I thought it would be a draw.

Well, it's also proof that the big guns can go to KO stage via playoff while only winning 3 games (as likely will happen with City). The format's main criticism for me is that the big guns have so little jeopardy, City can actually still have playoff destiny in their own hands by the final league phase game. If that's not crazy after how badly they've performed...

In the old format you needed 10 points (3 wins and a draw), but to guarantee top spot and a slightly easier draw, you would really only get 1 rubber match if you did it perfectly. Had City and Real won 5 games each by now, you bet they would be strolling through the last 2 or 3 games.

But one league phase season is a small sample. We need 10 seasons to provide a better view. I'm glad it's happened like this, though.

It's hard to get full points. When there are goals, there are too many goals and when there are no goals then 1 or 0 goals. I am thinking from the next round I will have 2 - 3 or 3 - 2 types picking LOL

I will find some times to watch Dortmund vs Barcelona. Hopefully there will be another 2 - 3 or more goals :-D Football is fun when player scores.

Dortmund - Barcelona did produced a bloodbath 5 goals thriller in the second half, took BTS on my ticket, became uncomfortable how the game ended at HT and Cashed out my game. Lol

With real money, I'll probably play over 3.5 goals max but obviously not over 5.5 goals but since we are 'betting' with points on pot B then the goal would be to get the maximum points by betting on these type of bets

It works for some people but yeah I think its a rare case, I got mine on Feyenoord - Sparta Prague but yeah I was lucky to hit that otherwise I would hit another dead zero again. Considering that Im still far away from top 5, I might do these over goals again in the next round

I couldn’t agree more, every team facing at least 3-4 teams of equal or better caliber in group stages or whatever it is called now brings huge level of competitiveness right from the onset, I only hope that there still will be a handful number of top teams left after the round ends so that the level of competition will not drop even if it doesn’t increase significantly.

I don't see scenario where Pep get sacked this season, no matter how bad results will be. He just have such big trust credit for all what he achieved. But obviously it's biggest crisis in his career.

In this case, Pot A is still long, for now I am not in the top 5 of Superbru because there are too many 1 points earned.
Pot B bounced to 15th place above you a little LTU hahaha like for me it's a little difficult because I always look for high odds to improve.

It's still too far away for Pep to be fired even if 10 games 1x win, he has extended the contract, even if the current season is bad it is sure to be retained, if starting next season it is still bad it is likely that he will be fired.

Let's say so, but City even last year/the year before had big problems (like all teams where ball control is the basis of everything else) with teams that prefer a tight defense. Now City is in a hole, so I can't imagine that it will be easy for them with Juventus. Yes, in every game I hope that City will lose points, but if suddenly they win against Juventus, in the PSG - City game I will root for City so that at least PSG is eliminated 

Ya no use to control ball in opponent half if you don't know how to unlock the defence. City had a lot of good players to do that but none are fit or prime anymore.

So City couldn't even draw   But Guardiola said he was happy because the team played well (these memes where he is compared to Ten Hag are gradually becoming reality lol). I am also happy with City's defeat and because the next game PSG - City will be almost fatal (it's a pity that this is not the last game of the group stage and they will have chances for 3 more points). Either way, someone will lose points and the game must be uncompromising.

For us at the bottom nothing else makes sense - you need to aim for crazy odds in hope you get them right.
In a system where you play with monopoly money it is the logical strategy. If we had to show tickets in order for our picks to count, I wouldn't play it like this

I also don't expect him to get fired this season, at least his poor performance is going to make the Premier League much more competitive, I'm sure not PL fan like City running away with the league title almost too easily every other, 4 consecutive is ridiculous man! However, we've all seen crazier things happen in football, especially when the fans begin to come into, and the dressing room also begins to lose their trust in a manager, they get sacked rather earlier than what having just a poor run of form would have caused.

I play this only when I see good odds and when a very weak team is playing, but this is always risky.

...and the last 2 rounds have been superkind to you, hasn't it ? I'm barely scrapping by, the only thing that isn't letting me down is my small odds fallback.
