How did everyone do?

I am quite happy with the results so far, in Pot B I can still maintain position in the top 5 and Pot A has seen a significant increase in level from the MD6 results, but with the UCL still a long way to go anything can still happen, and especially in Pot B if we are lucky we can get around 40 points from just one match, but clearly this is not an easy thing to do because after all this is just a prediction so the chances of winning are the same as losing, get points or nothing.

You're not focused on Pot A? Didn't see you mention it at all lol. Pot B is all or nothing which is why I like it even though I was unlucky this week. I had:

Arsenal vs Monaco - Over 3.5 goals
Juventus vs City - Over 2.5 goals

Both selections was missed by 1 goal. That's why I wasn't happy when I saw multiple arsenal players (Gabriel Jesus, Martineli, and even Odegaard) missing clear cut chances in the first half.

City losing was no surprise, their bad luck has not stopped.

I was expecting them to bounce back because Juventus isn't really a goal scoring team this season. Was surprised to see them put two against City. How the might have fallen.

For us at the bottom nothing else makes sense - you need to aim for crazy odds in hope you get them right.

I got no choice, I have been punished (-5%) twice because of this strategy. My picks in the plot B aren't that great in comparison with my Plot A (not that far behind the 1st position) and hoping I get that spot in the next round..

Never knew some of you guys put your points on over/under markets in this pool? Those odds are not just for me and I will never play Over 5.5 goals market ever not even with free money..

There are games you just have to take the risks, goals hasn't been that scanty so far as we get to see a game or two give us thrillers of goals. Bayern is one for those clubs that you can expect them to give you a chance with those odds and I can't just resist choosing them when I see the options available especially when they are playing against some of those clubs only here to add up to the numbers.

This is the round I won most points in Pot B, and I didnt spend much time thinking about my predictions 
I played much safer in most of the other rounds, but now is the right time to take more risks for points.

Stats are terrible and if Pep Guardiola don't feel like he is a coward, he can consider to leave Manchester City. Because these problems in Manchester City won't be resolved easily even they will spend big budget for player transfers in the winter and summer transfer seasons.

Their lose streak stopped but with only 1 win against Nottingham and 2 other draws, then a defeat by Juventus, Manchester City did not resolve their big crisis. The defeat by a strong opponent like Juventus shows that Manchester City have many weakness that won't be solved easily with available players now. Buying new players is the only way to refresh their squad but new players need time and they can fail in a new club. These big changes have risk that won't help Manchester City returning to champion level in a next season.

If results continue to be bad, Pep deserves to be fired by Manchester City because no club lives with past success. Manchester City can show their respect to past contributions of Pep and allow him to be their coach in this season or the next one. If results continue to be terrible a long time, a sack on Pep Guardiola will be made, it's unavoidable decision.

Fans can change faster than club owner, because they would love to see good results, titles and they're not patiently wait for a long time to see improvement.

Looks like they have lost their brilliance and that is hard to recover, when you lose it you lose it for good. No matter how much can they recover I don't think this season they would be a threat to anyone, nor in Champions League and nor in Premier League. In Champions though things are more difficult with this new format as another lost game in here and they would drop where they don't want to be dropping, nothing is over yet as there are another 6 points or 9 points in the last 2-3 games don't know how much are left in this new format yet they need to get full points on them. Honestly I don't believe Guardiola can make City come back though I as many others may be quite wrong on this assessment.

And no, ETH did a more terrible job than Guardiola. For instance, Man Utd had 14 losses in the premier league last season and so far, City only has 4 losses in the EPL so far and their poor run of form might come to an end soon. I think with each passing match day, there's a strong possibility for them to get back to winning ways and ending their losing streak.

Agree and disagree. Mainly agree. Modern clubs have very very short memories. Ranieri lost his job after winning EPL... for LEICESTER! But the club forgot after just one or two seasons and sacked him. Look where they are now.

But its different for Pep. He won them treble, and only missed EPL once in his whole 7 years.

I understand that no manager is above the club, but it makes no logic to speak about sacking someone who won the league a few months ago. Only Pep can sack Pep- meaning except he resigns for his mental health if things do not improve over time.

I've honestly lost count or lost track. I'm pretty sure I've won yellow caps in every pool, not sure if I've had very good seasons in all the pools but I seem to remember being in top 5 in all the pools one long season ago (at least, for a time haha).

Pep is and has always been a cheque book manager, but managers like ETH and Poch have taught us that money cannot always buy success.

I couldn't agree more. Pep can do it —  if not sooner, probably later on in the season as he has done for several seasons even though their performance(s) this season have been rather bleak.

Well, he has a couple of youngsters in his fold even though they're not up to the standard to their aging heroes.

There's one theory I want to test. City never losses a game that Rodri participated in. So I want to see him back and that should give answers if their problem was a good DMF because even Arsenal was shit when Odegaard was injured.

City's losses delight me anyway, win for Liverpool (and Chelsea  ).

He should be resigning though and not allowing this poor form to spoil everything he has achieved with City. They're times when managers should tell the truth and accept that they have lost what they had and maybe move on to another club to rebuild again. Pep can't recover from what's happening to City,  They can't be that almost invincible city again with Pep because all teams will be coming to play them with the mindset of winning and not fear that come with a plead of draws that teams usually had.
