Allison was the goalkeeper last night, he made a lot of saves.

What a crazy journey was this round. i was not expecting this kind of results at all, i grab some really good points for me, but where i think it was gonna be the most easy points, ended up being one impossible one for most of us, im talking about the PSG Liverpool game, i was expectin a lot of goals there.

I thought it was going to be a draw but unfortunately Elliott destroyed PSG at home although my heart is happy that Liverpool won and didn't get any points at all in this match.
The day is cured with this first leg win.

Potentially the best goalkeeping performance I’ve seen last night by this man. PSG were great, full of skill and intricate play but there was no way past the great, Alisson Becker. Did we deserve to win, no. Do I care, also no.

Yeah PSG players was so frustated that they cant score. Almost all of their shots on target were quite decent and if it wasnt because Alisson, PSG could have won the game. Imagine if you guys have Onana as goalkeeper, PSG would have scored 4 goals atleast

That's what guts gives you - this pool rewards audacious risk takers rather than low-risk takers, a reason why I like it over other pools.  I was tempted to take one of the own goal odds, but I went with Liverpool winning from behind at 11/1. PSG likes to score first, and Liverpool loves to come back from behind, so I predict PSG to take an early lead and Liverpool to come back twice to win the game.

Invested heavily on corners - can't even remember those games anymore but I'm guessing Bayern game is one of them.

Real Madrid - ATM game was match made in heaven. Enjoyed it.

And anyone seems to still be able to climb the ranks quickly (while others can still drop). Yeah, I'm liking it much more with every tweak we make. Pure degen pool.

Great minds think alike, I also went for a Liverpool comeback win. They've done it plenty of times (conceded first). Madrid derby was worth watching yeah. Hope Paris serves us something just as good.

I think Strongkored is in an enviable position now. He doesn't have to go crazy about his picks and he most likely won't drop out of the paid ranks. I for instance have to crazier every round, pure desperation

But you can see how results can go when you follow the Europa League. Ultimately, the bookies are the winners. Good we have a pool so we make sure some of will win no matter what

Champions League winner this season, I think the best bet is Liverpool at this point because they have this momentum that they win the games when they surely look like drawing at best, probably losing.

I think most of us will be happy with the results (Gooners be the happiest), if not our harvest in either Pots. Barca win got into shadow of Liverpool. But it's perfect result, considering that after Cubarsi red card we were with 10 men most part of game. After that, I already thought that somehow getting draw would be great result, but such win away is just perfect.

I was going to ask if you made a mistake   but then I had to check the Pot A table in SuperBRU, I had no idea why prediction were that partially spot on, because since the 5th or 6th round it’s been a free fall for me from the top positions. At least in this round I managed to move up 5 spots to bring me within 10 points of the 1st placed player, there is still a lot of ball game to be played in both Pots for as it currently stands.

How many shots did he save, I can't even remember and also the PSG attackers were to be blame for this loss because some of the saves that Allison had were clear scoring chances that top attackers are supposed to score and not give the goalie a chance to become the hero.

Since this is coming from a Thursday night performer, I'm not surprised. All Liverpool fans know how yesterday went down and it wasn't a pretty sight because Liverpool was absolute shit and PSG dominated the entire game.  We have had games like that in the EPL where Liverpool don't perform well in the first half but go on to dominate the second half. It wasn't the case yesterday.

The only other game that I've seen Liverpool suffer that much to keep up was against Arsenal a few months back.

At the end of the day, a win is a win and Liverpool got that yesterday. Results is what matters at the end of the day that's why real Madrid won in 2022 and Liverpool finished as runner-up.

Agreed — I had high hopes for Barcelona. They already conquered Benfica in the group stage and now in the R16 when stakes are a lot higher, they didn't perform as much as I expected.

Getting dozens of points in one MD is a wish but very difficult to get, and some of the top five were given penalties which helped a little but seeing how those below are trying to catch up by trying to get dozens of points will certainly make the competition remain fierce until May.

Definitely one of the most unpredictable pools, so you staying top even for 3 rounds is something pretty amazing. Definitely looking out for next round odds now!! Better lookout for the traps

Don't agree with you. Scoring more than 1 goal playing away amd without ejected player - that's too big expectations. Even on equal squads that would be difficult task. That's not right to compare with PSV - Arsenal game.

I would agree with LTU_btc on this one, the game even played on mutual grounds wasn't supposed to be an easy win for Barcelona, Benfica are no pushover for any team, and the first game against Barcelona in the earlier stages of the competition was a testament to that fact. I thought Barcelona were going to lose the match or at most secure a draw, and that would have been positive enough imo, given the circumstances. Barcelona have never been the team to dwell good under pressure, or when down to 10 men. Szczesny was the only reason Barcelona were able to come out on top, if it were some other dude in goal, it could have been a different story.

Its CL, any away game is hard. Arsenal were also lucky that PSV keeper played his worst game in his life. Rare to see a GK responsible for so many goals, he recorded -3.5 xG on his own self without Arsenal trying (meaning his mistakes should cause 3.5 goals).

No, I was talking about previous League Phase. I thought Barca was safe, so put points on them, and then put points on other crazy results. Barca don't win and then I get -5%. Now I don't care, its too late to play safe, need to go top 10, then play safe.

Would be the last chance for me to get something going for me in the Champions League pool!

Most matches are decided I think. Dortmund - Lille could be interesting and in terms of the final result, Atletico - Real Madrid is going to be an intense game. Liverpool at home will be a different game than the first leg, but who knows maybe PSG can score a quick goal. If Liverpool lands one attack first, I guess it would be over.

This is no problem for me because I usually send my predictions day before or on the day when matches start.

But guys I found a few things that will get me back into the game here. I hereby promise that if my 3 picks all hit, I will add 0.5 mBTC to the yellow cap winner in Pot A for this round! But trust me, it's gonna be hard to get those 0.5 mBTC added.

I made my picks already, but I have a huge feeling I'll make certain alterations before the kickoff, I really don't like some of my picks, I think we've got a lot of Over 4.5/5.5 that are worth chasing here or the No Goals, given that this is a 2nd leg affair, I'm not sure where I should tilt towards the most, so instead I went with a few -1.5 and -2.5 handicap for an all or nothing move.

I think it's only BC.Game markets, I cross-checked a number of times in the early rounds, it wouldn't be fair to use other sources I guess.
