Last season can't be compared to this season. Barcelona's team was just weaker last season. Didn't even Aubameyang join Barcelona in the middle of the season? I think so. Manchester city was not doing so good on EPL. im doubt if it can become the main competitor for real madrid. I don't know about this honestly. Because Barcelona are still an unpredictable team for the Champions League. We all know how great they are doing in the La Liga playing under Xavi's system. But this doesn't guarantee anything for the Champions League. First we need to see what they will do in their group. As you know they have a really tough group together with Bayern Munich and Inter especially. One of these great teams will most probably continue on their way in the Europa League. If Barcelona manage to impress people by their performance in this stage then I might be more expectant about them. As now, we hare heading for another exciting season of this Champions League and currently most of the teams are busy in their local leagues reports are not good because most of the teams are struggling badly and having decline in quality which is going to have the biggest problem for them in this Champions League with current performance most chances Real Madrid can go through for another trophy, and surely it's going to be good farewell for Ancelotti who is already announced his retirement after end of this season.

Thanks for your updates but as I read Real Madrid is having policy about not having any employ which is over 65 years age and after end of this season he is going to reach this age just because of this I am feeling he is going to retire after end of this season even things are not clear maybe they have done some changes or have any meeting with Ancelotti things could be clear after sometime but surely a good coach which is having too many trophies under his belt surely going to be missed by all soccer family.
