I haven't seen Lewandowski showing this much bad performance since the beginning of the season. Actually he was really trying but he was so bad at finishing. Especially one of his attempts was an absolute goal chance but the ball went right above the upper goal post. Pedri also had a very clear opportunity but he targeted the goal post after a great give and go. Bayern Munich were as usual. The first goal helped them start playing better and the second one came very quickly. Barcelona are still very unlucky against them but I hope they will win the game in Camp Nou.

Both Goalgetter are played not good in the game. Lewandoski and Mane didn't have a good day, they must have been stressing a lot because it was a very important game. Both of them didn't perform well. That's why other players were able to show themselves, and at FC Bayern there were many who played really good. Musiala played so nice, he didn't score a goal, but he was involved in both and won many duels.

surprising indeed to see Tottenham lose to the sporting. but Tottenham didn't play well enough. their position is under pressure. it keeps the game from progressing.
but if you look at the game stats, the two are quite balanced. Tottenham also had 12 shots, meaning they didn't just last the longest. it's just that they only take advantage of opportunities when Sporting attacks.
2 goals at the end of the second half, showed Tottenham lost focus at the end of the match. maybe right as they aim for a draw. but they lost by 2 goals at the end of the match.

It is unlikely that Conte wanted to draw this match, knowing the ambitions of this coach, he certainly wanted to win. He just chose a cautious defensive tactic, because he understood that Sporting was a difficult opponent at home. It's a shame to lose the match in the last minutes, the match was statistically equal, I didn't manage to watch it, but if the team concedes twice after 90 minutes, then this is a loss of concentration.

The Spurs defense had lost full concentration at the end of the game which resulted in conceding two goals it was really painful in reality a draw was enough but that says otherwise and I think the defense is still not focused so it is easy for Sporting CP players to end up scoring goals.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich succeeded in defeating Barcelona at Allianz's cage, which is the advantage over h2h, indeed Bayern has won more than Barcelona, so it's only natural that they can win again.
But we'll see how the revenge will be at Camp Nou.

Bayern vs. Barcelona was a pretty interesting game. Xavi needs more time to build a team that can be capable of winning the Champions League. The Bavarian team was solid as usual, even without Lewandowski. Bayern has a more versatile attack now.
Today, I expect the favorites like Real, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus and PSG to win their games against weaker opponents.

As a matter of fact, I thought they were going to make a show with Barcelona, Lewandowski and other teammates in this match, but it didn't happen. There were too many opportunities, especially Lewandowski, who had too many hits and couldn't get the finishing shot. He was a bit unlucky because his last hits weren't too bad, I can say he was always close. The first half was already dominated by Barcelona. Unable to score in the second half, Barcelona slowed down a bit and Munich scored and won the match.

I watched most of the matches from Lewandowski in the last few years as i watched most Bayern matches and i have to say that it is not that unusual that Lewandowski is wasting a few of those very big chances in a match, as this has happened many times before in his career. He is so good with positioning and anticipation that he usually gets a lot of chances to score and most of the time he makes at least one of those chances count.
Yesterday though it was different. The shot that you mentioned should have been a goal i agree, but his other chances were not that big. Pedri's chance was way bigger though in my opinion and i think Lewandowski would have made that one.

It was a really interesting day in the Champions League. Barcelona were the better side especially in the first half but the second half was way different. Bayern Munich made the score 2-0 in only four minutes. I still don't understand how Barcelona couldn't score even one goal despite having so many goal opportunities. Lewandowski was so ineffective this time and I wonder if it was related to playing against his old team. I had big hopes about Barcelona after making a progress under Xavi's management. Let's see if they will have their revenge in Camp Nou.

Actually, Barcelona's game in this match was quite dominant, especially in the first half, but unfortunately their game was not very well organized.  Many of the opportunities they get are just wasted.  But in the second half El Barca's game was so chaotic, that Bayern immediately punished them.  I see there are some technical things that Xavi needs to improve immediately, up front, Raphinha is not very effective, he is too hasty in opening shots, so Lewandowski's role is not very visible.  Then the midfield also didn't look very creative and the most chaotic in defence, Christensen and Araujo were really very fragile in the second half, making it very easy for the Munich attack to penetrate.  I believe this defeat is an important note for Xavi to immediately fix his squad.

Barcelona has their way same as Bayern. Barcelona's progressive possession style of football under Xavi can kill any team playing against them. we have seen football destroy the best teams in years. But it can also be worked against. now that's not just the problem. Barcelona plays the way they play and when it seems not to work for them they end up being bleeped.

Is it not Salzburg of Slovenia? It is. The clubs I mostly respect in Champions League always come from Premier League, Seria A, Bundesliga, La Liga and Lique 1. I always put others, like top leagues in Portugal, Netherlands and others under the assumption that they might try. Salzburg is good but that should not be against Chelsea. I hope Chelsea players would not disappoint their fans today.

Record is always repeating itself despite stealing Lewandowski from them. Now the battle for the second is between Barcelona and Inzaghi, who evers settles in the coming home and away game, take the lead. Bayern takes the 1st by punishing the 2 of them with a score of 2-0 each. So defeating Victoria Plzen will be like sipping tea.

Yesterday games except Bayern,Inter and Liverpool all other ones ended with somewhat a surprise result,the more surprising being Club Brugge victory over Porto at 4-0 which was totally unexpected especially after Porto executed a so well game played against Atletico Madrid in the first game of the Champions League.I think tonight the favorites should win comfortably almost all of them,the only downside is that they will have lower odds but combined in a perfect parlay it can make the odd significant amounting to a good amount of money won.

That's a very difficult match to predict. I will not call that chelsea was the same as another big club in UCL. The fact that chelsea's performance is so bad compared with another EPL team in UCL along with liverpool. Liverpool has been winning last night match but if chelsea can't win this match. I think chelsea is not possible to be runner up of its group. This will become debut from graham potter. I hope that he can bring the team to the win. Sporting, Brugge and Leverkusen played by taking advantage of the opportunities they got, I was not too surprised to see the results in the Sporting Vs Tottenham and Leverkusen Vs Atletico Madrid matches, I was just surprised to see the results of the Porto Vs Club Brugge matches . Didn't expect Porto to lose by a score far enough.

Maybe, in today's UCL match, we will also be shown with an absurd result, my hunch is that Real Madrid will not win their match against Leipzig.
