The champions league is back and we have seen more a actions in the opening games of the UEFEA. I'm not worried, my favorite team won their game which is Manchester city. It was an easy win for them as they thrashed Sevilla 4 nil. Pep Guardiola don't see Sevilla as a threat rather his main focus is to be in the finals of UEFEA. Manchester city Striker, Erling Haaland have already record two goals in his first champions league appearance for city and more goals would be scored by him since he have the strength and knows how to position infront of goals.

Group stages isn't the problem of Man City of course they will qualify for the knockout stages, having thrashed Sevilla 4-0 yesterday, infact they will top their group, however winning the coveted trophy have become elusive to the club, I believe the club will try to win UCL trophy this season with the signing of Erling Halaand.
Meanwhile another Elite club PSG also defeated Juventus 2-1 in an explosive game, it was awesome watching Mbappe outpacing Juventus defenders by scoring two goals with Neymar who is in top form providing one of the assist, the big clubs will perform excellently well in this stage.

Benfica 2 - 0 Maccabi Haifa
In the first half, Maccabi was a little better, managed to nullify Benfica's attack and pressed hard, not allowing Benfica to play their game. Eden Hazard seems to be back in good form and it was cool to see him find the back of the net in a champions league game, not just the goal but he also assisted Luka Modric in scoring the second goal so he should be the man of the match so that he will be motivated and his confidence will fully be restored, good win for the Ancelotti men.

Vini's first goal was very similar to his UCL winner against Liverpool with Modric and Carvajal pressing high then Valverde running down the right flank to set up a fine assist for Vini. This is something these players can and will do, until people find out that beating a high-pressure team is not the same as getting lucky or getting help from the referee.
Look at Hazard's smile, this is the performance he commands the most to boost his confidence. Hopefully things will get better from now on for him.

It was a tough game for Chelsea, definitely looks like the team is totally disarranged, I really don't understand, if the players don't want to play for the coach anymore, I just think a lot is wrong with the team, the communication between the players in the pitch is totally poor, the midfield is totally down, no central passer of the ball to the attack. Their inability to create enough chances and overwhelm their opponents cost them the game eventually.

I was suprise that Chelsea lost their match yesterday, I don't even know who to blame maybe the coach or the player, Dinamo Zagreb is a small team for Chelsea to win, they even performed poorly but am suprise they won, Chelsea had lot's of opportunities but I don't know why they couldn't score, even Aubameyang didn't perform to my expectation yesterday, he couldn't even convert any of his opptunity to goal, I think Thomas Tuchel should work on his team, if not with the current performance of Chelsea am sure Chelsea won't really go far.

I think it a boils down to creativity. No doubt Chelsea game has changed, the midfielders aren’t pushing the forwards so well. If the midfielders create the chances then Chelsea is going to do better. They failed to make a mark throughout the game, despite having about 69% possession, they couldn’t make anything out of it. IMO since the results aren’t favoring Chelsea, Tuchel should revisit his tactics and make adjustments.

There is a possibility that Erling Haaland could be the secret code to Man City's Champions League triumph. It doesn't matter what is presented to Man City as long as they shut down the back door. As far as I am concerned, Man City are one of the most promising complete teams at the moment.
Anyway, I'd like to focus on Neymar's performance. This assist was outstanding. Kylian Mbappé and Neymar combined to score a goal that was beyond belief. Assists are sometimes more beautiful than goals, and Neymar does it again. There is almost a scripted feel to the second goal. The way Hakimi presented it was very simple. The club will win their group, and advance as a group leader.

Chelsea really disappointed tonight - they had the majority of the possession but were abysmal with their decision making in the final third. This is a difficult group and Tuchel will be furious that they lost points here.

Agreed, Juventus were not that bad and they could play well as an away team. The 2 goals by Mbappe were amazing, I dont even think that other players would be able to do the same thing. Mbappe is a fast player while Juventus defenders are mostly slow players, the 2 goals scored because with so quick set up while Juventus defenders could not anticipate it quickly. Allegri has homework in this area, how to anticipate fast players and quick set up from their opponent. The other problem for Juventus is still about many missing players due to injuries. I think Juventus can do better if Pogba, Di Maria and Chiesa were in the lineup.

Real Madrid started defending their Champions League crown with a 3-0 win over Celtic in their Group F opener.

The final score shouldn't mislead anyone. Because PSG were mostly in control of the game. The goal they conceded was a result of Donnarumma's individual mistake. But he made up for his mistake later by a really important save. By the way it seems like Neymar and Mbappe have started to get along with each other. Because in the first goal, Neymar made a really classy assist to him and Mbappe went to him right after scoring the goal to celebrate it together. This is a good sign for the team because they will need this cooperation throughout the season. This is the only way they can win the Champions League title this season.

I didn't expect this poor performance from Chelsea in this night game let alone loosing to ordinary Dinamo Zegrab, I'm sensing that Thomas Tuchel is still doing some experiment with this team and precisely the new players and too his looking for a way to properly combine the new guys with the old guys in order to have a suitable first 11 eleven team. Which in this process, I think at the moment he's becoming a little bit kind of confused with the players to use. He should step up his games and start living up to expectations, because the earlier the better as more and more games plus different compitions are on its way.

Chelsea this season is far from the standard of play like last season, usually chelsea has started the season quite well but at this time it is clearly not what the fans expect, the bad results that be obtained in the league are now starting to spread to the champions league and I think it is the chelsea squad this season may not go far, chelsea poor performance was the reason for their defeat and it can be said that if the current chelsea defense is no longer as strong as it used to be, I don't think if Tuchel is still looking for the right formation because the season has started.

The matches Chelsea has played so far since the beginning of this season have never been convincing. The result so far: 1-0, 2-2, 2-1, 2-1, and they haven't played against the big teams in Premiership and Europe. Chelsea's performance so far is even below Europa's spot. With this kind of performance, Chelsea looks bound for something terrible if something is not done fast.

Bookmakers made big money last night because people bet on a club because of its name, and they don't take into account some much more important things. Chelsea was the favorite only on paper, and on the field it turned out that they were not equal to any (for them) small club that most of the players probably had no idea existed. Three years ago, Dinamo ZG also defeated Atalanta in the first round, and even then it was a surprise.

I cannot accept that the result is only 1-0, because Dinamo had another excellent chance and the victory should have been even more convincing.

I don't care about money because of course they have a lot of money, but is this true news? I haven't checked further, but it's a shame if Chelsea make such a quick decision. Tuchel came suddenly after Chelsea sacked Lampard and now Tuchel was sacked suddenly too, I hope this is not a decision that makes a blunder for Chelsea because it will be difficult to build a team quickly especially because Chelsea's schedule is quite busy. I wonder who will replace Tuchel because I don't see the right coach to replace Tuchel, or if it could be Mauricio Pochettino.
