It was a really interesting day in the Champions League. Barcelona were the better side especially in the first half but the second half was way different. Bayern Munich made the score 2-0 in only four minutes. I still don't understand how Barcelona couldn't score even one goal despite having so many goal opportunities. Lewandowski was so ineffective this time and I wonder if it was related to playing against his old team. I had big hopes about Barcelona after making a progress under Xavi's management. Let's see if they will have their revenge in Camp Nou.

Bayern vs. Barcelona was a pretty interesting game. Xavi needs more time to build a team that can be capable of winning the Champions League. The Bavarian team was solid as usual, even without Lewandowski. Bayern has a more versatile attack now.
Today, I expect the favorites like Real, AC Milan, Chelsea, Manchester City, Juventus and PSG to win their games against weaker opponents. 

Surprisingly, some of the teams who were favorites to win had to lose. Tottenham probably surprised me the most. because they have to lose at the end of the game.
My favorite for this season in the Champions League is Man City. the first match against Sevilla was overcome with a big win. That's because Sevilla's performance this season is also not as good as last season.
but the next opponent is Dortmund. although his form in the Bundesliga has not looked dominant, City must consider the strength of Dortmund. I hope City can show an aggressive game with a prolific striker. 2 or 3 goals for City seems good for this game.

I wasn't impressed by Tottenham Hotspur in the slightest way,

Conte played all his good players, but still couldn't get the win. The final 10 minutes of the game was tense, Sporting were very persistent and confident in their attack so much that even after heir first goal in the 90th minute, they didn't give Tottenham a chance to pull off a late equalizer to still claim a point from this game, but they went for the second goal and got it just 2 minutes after their first. They haven't won an English team in a while, so this victory means a lot to them.

Liverpool and Ajax...

I knew that the way Ajax were retreating and started defending in the final minutes of the game was going to cost them a goal, and it did. The goal would not have come had they continued to attack and not give the Liverpool side any opportunity to get pull themselves together. That was a very important goal that Matip scored for the team and coach, but I still don't see this Liverpool side as a team that will win the UCL this season, they are still unconvincing.

Bayern has proven it again that the can do it over and again even without Lewa.

Smart game from Bayern, they got a  first goal, didn't relax there but went ahead to get another, and then fell back to defense. Barcelona didn't have luck on their side, they missed many good opportunities (the likes of Lewandoski and Pedri) to even get one goal in the game. They started the first half well, and to say they couldn't even get a goal in this game is very unbelievable also due to their current form. Barcelona still have a good chance to qualify from their group.

My Paranoia got flared up during the second half, like just immediately they resumed. I knew they was not going to get the win with the first half performance, Edwards of Sporting Lisbon deserves a better and bigger club, so much talent in that young talent, having a low center of gravity makes dribbling swift and much easier for him, so exciting to watch him play.

Kudos to Matip, so much to say but I'll say he deserves it. Difficult game's like this see player's take Bold step to decide how the game ends. Another poor defending from Van Dijk of Liverpool. Like this ain't skating, get the Fvckn Ball defended.

Two quality sides showing big performance. Pedri as said missed a chance also Lewandoski from Gavi's pass which was  just above the wood work a little bit. Good first half, I didn't get to complete the second half.

Porto has done in this competition because 2 consecutive lose from Club Brugge and Atletico Madrid makes their position currently in the bottom of group standings and actually i didn't expect they will lose with big scores 4-0 yesterday because in my opinion Porto is the favourite and on the paper they should be can win the match or at least draw but apparently Club Brugge can playing better and now Club Brugge has change became one of the potential team who possibly went to knockout stage besides Atletico Madrid

Porto has a very worst performance against atletico and brugge. That's why porto has been at the bottom. It's very hard to follow points that already collected by another team in the same group. Porto must think so hard how to win in the champion league. Im not sure if porto has a chance to make it but only luck can help this club. Porto is still struggling with its performance. I would not be surprised that if porto was not making it

The best thing in this match is that I won pretty big because I made a 2 goal bet for Bayern and their win which of course is a good thing
Bayern are still tough for Barcelona even if they have the ball but in this match Lewandowski's role was really turned off and that's a good thing.
Bayern is currently solid and Inter and Barcelona have to compete in position 2.

I thought that it will be drawn, but in this match, both actually paid amazingly, but Bayern is more than it. Barcelona actually has so many chances to score the goals, there were so many shots. But, their attacking liners especially Lewandowski couldn't score any goal.
Well, the decision will be in the next match whether Barcelona or Inter will win the match. Both are great clubs and will not be easy to beat each other. But here, Barcelona may have though confidence moreover after being defeated by Bayern in this match.

It's difficult to bet on Lewandowski in this case, it's not that he can't be relied on but when facing Bayern it's definitely a dead move because Bayern know what they have to do to anticipate Lewandowski.
Most likely from Inter and Barcelona I think Barcelona's chances are bigger because regardless I still feel that Inter will only be in 3rd position in this group.

Yes they had a lot of chances but unfortunately lewandowski couldn't maximize his chances. With this result adding to Barcelona's bad record against Munich which always loses, statistics show Barcelona's superiority both in ball possession and chances, Barcelona's dominance is destroyed with two goals from Munich scored by Lucas Hernandez and Sane.
The defeat in Bavaria was the first for Barcelona this season and it looks like Xavi has plenty of records to correct his squad.
As for Bayern, Nagelsmann managed to make his squad win this match, the rotation of players and the change in strategy that he did were quite effective.

I haven't seen Lewandowski showing this much bad performance since the beginning of the season. Actually he was really trying but he was so bad at finishing. Especially one of his attempts was an absolute goal chance but the ball went right above the upper goal post. Pedri also had a very clear opportunity but he targeted the goal post after a great give and go. Bayern Munich were as usual. The first goal helped them start playing better and the second one came very quickly. Barcelona are still very unlucky against them but I hope they will win the game in Camp Nou.

I was expecting the Liverpool win. They needed this improvement in their performance after all those poor games. They had a good past against Ajax as well. Despite Liverpool's dominance Ajax still did a good job with the chances they found. Kudus scored an incredible goal and Alisson had just nothing to do about it. Salah finally scored and this would be a help for him to improve his effort.
