Every year everyone thinks that this is time for City to win, and every year they find a way to lose and meanwhile La Liga teams always end up going further than anyone gives them credit for.

People do not realize this but if you look at the rankings, even though Premier league clubs have more money and more freedom and La Liga teams have a lot more trouble financially and need to follow some rules and do not get the same love globally (even though still loved a lot) we are not seeing premier league clubs having the same type of luck. In the end, I believe that it would be still either Real Madrid or Barcelona that will win it this year as well.

The problem is not that simple.
We know that at the moment it is difficult for them to achieve their desire because in this case we know that City is a great club but on the other hand the Champions League is not that easy to beat. There are so many teams that can be said to be superiors that even City find it difficult to reach.

So many times city have been trying so heard but always got beaten by another club. Remember when it was facing chelsea in final and chelsea able to win against city through a very dramatic story. The fact that if any club that can go to the final has the same capabilities to become a winner. Im not feeling doubt if that will make city will be so hard to achieve this title even when it was being coached by guardiola.
