Having said that, in City's game, it is Haaland doing what he knows how to do best, scoring goals, and it is De Bruyne doing what he knows how to do best, and that is setting up goals, Haaland could prolly be the difference for Manchester City in the Champions League, just to have that big man up front causing trouble for opposition defense and getting the goals that matter might just see City go all the way this season; well still on this game they must be weary of Sevilla, i am really impressed with how Sevilla are passing the ball, with so much confidence, though they are yet to create anything, but City must add to their lead if they are to move into comfort zone.

The first round of the Champions League group stage today was very impressive, I am happy with some of the results especially after Manchester City won with a very promising score of 0-4 at home to Sevilla. Haaland is very fast, he scored 2 goals for today's win and really he is the best number 9 at the moment in my opinion.

I firmly believe Manchester City will qualify easily from the group stage to the round of 16. The next round Manchester City will host Dortmund, this will test Haaland's ability and professionalism as a former Dortmund player. I don't know if he'll score and celebrate, but hopefully he won't celebrate if his goal stats don't stop.

Goallll! It's Real Madrid 2:0 for celtic in the ample of minutes in the second half. Celtic have played beautifully until now. Real Madrid is out to show them whose boss and how much experience could aid you in the UCL. Celtic lost yet another chance in the early minutes of the first half after a carefully worked ball right into the Real Madrid 18 yard box and Daizen Maeda couldn't place the ball just right. Real Madrid had to proof tonight of what a great champion they are and a no match for Celtic. All the Celtic coach could do at the second half was just what I could refer to as damage control by making much changes just to reduce the rate of goals.

That said, another game that tickled my fancy was the Leipzig vs shakhtar donetsk game, irrespective of the war challenges in Ukraine shakhtar donetak still dominated the German side whisking a three point without fear or favor.

Overall this was something easy for them but something was interesting in this match because after a long time Hazard was finally able to score again because for official matches I haven't seen him score in a long time.

Madrid winning didn't come as a surprising thing  to me because the team is in good shape having won in all their matches since the beginning of the new season in Laliga. Eden Hazard seems to be back in good form and it was cool to see him find the back of the net in a champions league game, not just the goal but he also assisted Luka Modric in scoring the second goal so he should be the man of the match so that he will be motivated and his confidence will fully be restored, good win for the Ancelotti men.

Chelsea really started badly to this season. They have had a really poor performance in offense especially because of not having a proper striker in the team. They have signed Aubameyang newly but he couldn't do much today. It was his first appearance with the team maybe but the team really needed him to be productive. However Chelsea still played unsatisfyingly as a team also. I know that Dinamo Zagreb defeated some big Premier League teams here but this was still a match that Chelsea could have won normally. Tuchel is still having big problems with his team.

I cannot satisfyingly explain how Chelsea team got this poor or bad. Last season Chelsea had a very strong defence and midfield but the only problem they were having was striker because Lukaku was performing below expectations and he fell out of love the coach, the team and the fans, so he had no option to return to Italy.
But when Chelsea started losing their defence line, especially Rudiger which didn't take alot of time for other defence line line Christainsen to depart. It was at this time that the team had issues. They need to get a midfielder but the window is closed. They have to continue this way till Kante is back.

Unexpectedly Juventus can play quite well when dealing with PSG, it can be seen from the statistics that do not differ much between PSG and Juventus.
Even though Juventus have not been able to play a number of their main players, but Juventus can play well, and only lost by a difference of one goal.
Even the Juventus defense was much more solid in the second half by not allowing PSG players to score again. If Juventus can play the same game
against PSG in the second leg, it is not impossible that Juventus can win when playing at home or at least Juventus can achieve a draw.
Even though Juventus lost, they didn't play badly, and indeed PSG's victory had been predicted by many people, and I am quite satisfied that I won the bet.

If juventus has held their defense tight in the first half maybe the game would have ended in a draw. The only made improvement in the second half and also had their best attempts in the second half but PSG held on to the win after juve were able to score a single goal. I hope Di Maria, Pogba Cheisa return from injury soon enough before their next match so the get a better of qualifying in the group stage

I must commendate the performance Juventus displayed against PSG. Despite losing the match. I think, they indeed tried their possible best, but PSG had their best players on the field which probably made it difficult for Juventus to withstand them. I agree with you, it should have eventually been a tough match for PSG, if Pogba, Di Maria and Chiesa was on the pitch. Hopefully, they will participate in the second leg. But, we have to consider the fact that PSG hosted the game, which boosted their morale about winning it.

Chelsea spent the most money in the last transfer window, there shouldn't be any complaints about poor players because to the best of my knowledge they have an ample supply of quality players but it seems the coach has lost his touch or still finding a way on how to properly use them. The coach also needs to devise another means of play for Chelsea instead of dependence on playing in from the flanks which most clubs already know is their pattern of play. It was a really very disappointing results that they couldn't even score a goal against a team considered by many to be the weakest in the group. they played very lazy football and we have to improve and do better if they consider themselves as candidates for this season's champions League title.

The next games should be entertaining as the first day as well. Ajax will most likely have an easier game against the Rangers. They'll probably have at least two-goal lead. Tottenham and Liverpool are the favorite to win against Marseille and Napoli respectively.

He should step up his games and start living up to expectations, because the earlier the better as more and more games plus different compitions are on its way.

At the beginning of the game, at least until the 20th minute Celtic put pressure that was quite dangerous actually and until the first half ended they really gave a pretty good resistance.
But for the second half their defense started to falter and their offside trap always failed here which made it quite difficult for them to back up when the offside trap failed.
Even though Ancelloti did make some rotations again, Celtic still couldn't make something that could tackle Madrid in this match.

Ofcourse yeah and he didn't just score (Eden Hazard), he managed a goal and an assist. That's so much he could have asked for in this game and all thanks to the situation with K. Benzema else, he would have been routing on the bench. Although, he lost some pretty good chance and wasn't making accurate passes when he came on but in the end, he had a major impact on the game.
Celtic on the other hand proved themselves a good team eve  though they lost but Real Madrid remains there better still. The pattern at which Celtic played, I wonder what would have been the result if this were not to be Real Madrid.

great victory for PSG, I'm a fan of Juventus and PSG so for me I supported both teams, but as a bettor I had to bet on the team that presented the best conditions to achieve victory, and in this case I chose to bet on PSG because they have better players compared to juventus

as expected, City easily won this game, they managed to score 4 goals and did not concede any goals, with this victory City will be more motivated for the next games of the champions league, who knows this season City finally became champions

Buying bunch of expensive players didn't mean if chelsea can solve its problem, it seems like that tuchel must have been replacing its old scheme. Another club has known which tactic that will be used by tuchel. Chelsea's performance was so bad. That would be good as long as chelsea can win the rest of matches but this must be impossible to happen with the current performance. I guess that if this team is very hard to create a chance for its striker yet chelsea is still having another chance again.
I hope that tuchel will come with something good very soon.
