Bayern Munich are really playing some good football this year such that the recorded a perfect start at group stage with 18points from the 6games played, could this be their year the win another CL trophy ?

Bayern Munich Club is the most consistent in terms of games, enjoyable to watch even the last 10 years, nothing is as consistent as Bayern in terms of games.
It proves that individual players do not attract much attention to German teams, let alone expensive and big players, deserve to be a strong team because they prioritize teamwork.
You could say that Bayern are stingy in their finances, they make up for cheap players with good quality. The results are also good, rather than buying expensive players but not according to the criteria. Nowadays, clubs are competing for expensive players just for a business.

I can't deny that Liverpool's performance against Napoli was quite good. But if we say that Liverpool's game this season is incredible, maybe this is a bit of an exaggeration. We know that Liverpool often misses opportunities and especially in the Premier League, their game is quite bad. Luckily, they didn't make the same mistake in the Champions League. Maybe they are more focused here. However, I'm not sure if Liverpool can be champions here.

What is happening to Barcelona this season is the same thing that is happening to Liverpool, the only difference is that the opposite of what is happening to Barcelona is what is happening to Liverpool. Barcelona is doing well in theirlocal League but doing bad in the Champions League, where they were unable to qualify for the next round.

Liverpool in the other hand is doing well in the Champions League but losing matches to relation teams in their local League .

I really enjoyed the match between Napoli vs Liverpool. During the first half both teams played fiercely. But it seems that in the second half Napoli made a mistake. precisely from the 80th minute the tempo of Napoli's game decreased slightly or maybe they deliberately lowered the tempo of the game and this has become a fatal gap for Napoli. and Liverpool are a team that cannot be underestimated. when the opponent makes a gap then Liverpool can use it well. and that's what happened in the game. I agree that the UEFA Champions League is quite different from other leagues, but team name is not that important, because any team that manages to qualify for Champions League is not a small team, and it has clearly shown that the teams fought hard in their respective leagues in order to see themselves playing in Champions League, so when it comes to Champions League games, any body can qualify; no one expects Atletico Madrid to be at the bottom of Group B.

Jurgen Klopp is not at his best this season in comparison to previous seasons; he and his team are still struggling for consistency in their games as they have been beaten by teams they did not expect to be beaten by; even in this Champions League group stage, they have some poor performance in the beginning, which is why they were unable to top the group. Nonetheless, congratulations to Liverpool for making it to the round of 16.

Amazing Liverpool yesterday night.I was expecting a revenge after the humiliating game in Italy where we lost 4-1 but yesterday night was a huge win,with a clean sheet that further shows that Liverpool can go very far in this Champions League season as they just beat one of the best teams right now both in their local league and both in the Champions League.

In the Premier League they have nothing to fight for except a place in the top 4 which I think can be achievable and so the full focus from now on will be only in the Champions League.

It's still too early to judge Liverpool are not good in the EPL, because basically Liverpool still have time and opportunity to continue to improve their appearance and performance in the EPL this season. Although at this moment it is clear that Liverpool are not very good in the EPL, but they still have time to improve everything in the EPL this season.

In UCL Liverpool also have to try to be better because there are more good teams in the last 16 and it's very tough for every team so every game has to be really fought for in order to get a win and to be able to survive until the end of the season.

A victory that did not produce any value for Liverpool, considering that the grub champions had been mandated by Napoli, while Liverpool had to settle for the runner-up position.

Whilst the victory for Liverpool didn't ensure that they top the group as they still had to settle for second place, it was a really important win for their morale and confidence, they lost back to back games in the EPL, so a win was very important last night, it would be a morale boost for them as they prepare for their big game in the EPL against Spurs on Sunday, if they had failed to beat Napoli, their confidence would've been at rock bottom.

Having said that, Liverpool now have to wait for the RO16 draw to see if they would face a really big team, this season there are a couple of teams that aren't giant clubs that finished first postion in their respective groups, so Liverpool could still get an easy RO16 game despite finishing second in their group behind Napoli.

Liverpool club is very unpredictable.
Understanding Liverpool is difficult to do. Matches you expect them to win, they lose it. Same as matches you expect them to lose, they win them. The problem with Liverpool seems to be from their mental ability and attitude. They feel relaxed when they are up for a small team, but put up their armour when playing against a big team.

Round of 16: Liverpool will be up against Bayern Munich, I hope they will be able to pull it through as they did in group-stage qualifications.

There were some very interesting encounters and results in Group D today. Marseille lost 2-1 at home with a last minute goal after leading at half time. At halftime they were leading the group, but after the match they finished last and said goodbye to Europe.
The same result was also valid in the Lisbon-Frankfurt match. Lisbon led 1-0 at half time but frankfurt scored 2 goals in the second half to win the match and have a chance to continue in the champions league.

The group was the toughest last night, Tottenham tried in that game when you consider their coach Antonio Conte was in the stand, the incident that happens yesterday in front of the players hotels and the hostile environment that the Marseille fans brought on,then being a goal down at first half and winning and topping the group was not easy despite losing Son in the first 23 minutes. Was also disappointed that sporting Lisbon didn't go through despite playing at home, before the game, one can predict them as favourite against the German side.

I agree that the UEFA Champions League is quite different from other leagues, but team name is not that important, because any team that manages to qualify for Champions League is not a small team, and it has clearly shown that the teams fought hard in their respective leagues in order to see themselves playing in Champions League, so when it comes to Champions League games, any body can qualify;

I also agree that any team that qualifies for the UEFA Champions League is not a small team, they are a big team in their respective leagues. Their proof as a big team is when they managed to escape from the group. To qualify, the team needs players who have the mentality to play in Europe's biggest competition because they will face teams from every representative of the best leagues in Europe.

Yeah, this should be a great match, both teams have been playing poorly lately, but Tottenham are probably playing a little better.
Both teams regularly both score and concede(5 games in a row), so there should be many goals in this game, but the one who plays better in defense should win.
I think that it will still be Tottenham.

The competition in Group D is indeed very tight, all teams from this group still have the chance to qualify for the round of 16. Tottenham are currently at the top of the standings with 8 points, while Marseille are at the bottom. Marseille is only two points adrift of Tottenham, if they can win against Tottenham, Marseille will secure a ticket to the last 16.
Tottenham only need a draw to qualify for the last 16, but if they want to finish as group winners Tottenham must beat Marseille or hope the Sporting vs Frankfurt match ends in a draw.

It was a great group. Tottenham and Marseille as I wrote both score and concede, but Tottenham was a little bit lucky.
If Marseille played a little better in a difference in the end of the match it would not have been eliminated from all European competitions.
A team like Marseille has no right to play defense at the end of the match like that.

I don't really agree that Bayern only has cheap players. I mean just look at their squad. Kimmich, Goretzka, Davies, Musiala, Coman, Gnabry, Sane, Mane and De Ligt all have a market value of 60 M€ or higher. Also the total market value of it's squad is higher than the one of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, FC Chelsea and Manchester United for example. Bayern is ranked on 4th place in terms of total market value of it's squad. So i would say that Bayern Munich has a very high quality squad with absolutely great players but yes of course it is true they never went for that absolute superstars like Ronaldo or Messi.
Also Bayern had absolutely no debts like all the other top clubs, Bayern even has Money still sitting on the Bank and all that without that crazy high English TV money and without the financial help of sheikhs and oligarchs.

Given the current circumstances, I don't believe Chelsea and Man City will use their star players in today's match, Chelsea vs. Dinamo at 21:00. Because Chelsea reserves its best players for the biggest games and because the odds difference between Chelsea and Dinamo is only 0.97, I don't think Dinamo has what it takes to defeat Chelsea. Additionally, Celtic will have to work hard to defeat Real Madrid when they play against them.

I expected Marseille to have won that game after they took the lead. But they allow Tottenham to emerge from the break as a revitalized side and showed character to get back into the game. Tottenham did it the hard way, coming from a goal down on a night where every single team in the group at some point could have qualified for the second round. Marseille lack UCL experience, it’s been a while they played in this competition. They should have maintained the goal and either stay defensive after the break or deploy another tactics to kill the game.

Should be, Marseille was able to maintain the momentum after winning first in the first half. but unfortunately, Tottenham were able to turn the situation into an advantage for them. in the end, Marseille failed to qualify for the next phase.

As for Sporting Lisbon vs Frankfurt, this match is in line with what I previously predicted that the visitors would win this battle.
in the other group, Liverpool were able to close the group phase with a win over Napoli. although not enough to finish as group winners, the Reds' performance was quite satisfactory. Liverpool should have taken the lead in the first half, but unfortunately Thiago's shot outside the box was blocked by the Napoli goalkeeper. in another match, Ajax overthrew Ranggers with a fairly satisfactory score.
Overall, betting estimates went as expected. Unfortunately, only one misses.

Tottenham played for a draw in this match. At least that's what their performance seemed like. But they were very lucky to score in extra time after 90 minutes to earn the full three points. Also managed to secure the top spot in the table by scoring 3 points in this match. Had the match been a draw, they would have been second in the table.

Marseille's players dominated this match but they could not win. Because Tattenham was very strategic in this field. Harry Kane's performance was very good. At the same time, the performances of midfielders Perisic and Hojbjerg impressed me. Heung-Min son is not in form. If he returns to form, Tottenham's attack will become stronger.

Liverpool really surprised me because Napoli is in top form currently. I predicted that Napoli would have a very comfortable win but Liverpool proved me wrong. Both teams had already qualified, hence they had nothing to lose if the match was won by any side but Napoli still maintained the number one spot because of goal difference.  

Liverpool ends Napoli winning streak in the champions league group. The game was a bit tough for the home team but they bounced back in the second half. Napoli failed to take their chances and this wasn't a good start for Luciano Spalleti. Hence, both teams qualify but Napoli wanted to make history as to be the team to qualify with winning all their fixtures in the group. They're still on top of the table with the same points with Liverpool but goal difference differs. Now, we would be looking up to the round of 16 where it will be more difficult for average team that manage to qualify their group stage.

Napoli performance was highly commendable in their match against Liverpool yestarday though the lost the match, however both clubs really deserve to qualify for the knockout stages, especially Liverpool who started their group stage matches on a shaky note but rediscovered their form in UCL and performed brilliantly well, though they are struggling in EPL, I hope they transform their brilliant performances in UCL into EPL in their next match and be consistent so as to qualify for next season UCL, defensively Liverpool really did well with return of  Konate playing along Van Dijk which help to stop Napoli danger man Victor Osimen.

Both teams played quite well but indeed liverpool which has bigger ambitions has the advantage of playing at anfield, in my opinion Napoli doesn't seem to be too targeting a win in that match because their position is safe at the top so they don't want to take risks by playing too aggressively like the match the first leg,  although Liverpool managed to win the match, but Napoli still managed to survive as the group leader with 15 points and only differed on goal difference with Liverpool who also had 15 points.

Not to say that Liverpool played too well. A win or a loss in this match does not change the position of Napoli and Liverpool in the points table. So the match was not important for either team. There is no reason to think that Liverpool has benefited from a win in this match. Liverpool's performances have been erratic since the start of the season and they are still not in the truck. They have been defeated in the last two matches of the Premier League.
