After finishing the group stage which was peppered with a few surprises, we have got a team that deserves to qualify for the next round in the last 16.

Napoli have been in the limelight since they improved rapidly this season. I couldn't agree more with you. Vinicius Jr should never be compared to Mbappe. And comparing Benzema with Messi is not fair at all. The whole world knows exactly what kind of quality full player Messi is and what kind of quality full player Benzema is. If Liverpool can't be meet up to win the Premier league this season,  they still need to work hard to secure a better position.  The position of Liverpool in the premier league is too poor for Liverpool. It has happen for 6 seasons in a row before this, we must understand that no performance lasts forever, there will be times when Liverpool suffer a drastic decline in the standings like now. I remember, the last time Liverpool were outside the top 5 of the Premier League is the 2015-16 season
But fortunately Liverpool's decline in Premier League performance did not carry over to the Champions League, they get a good position and play well in the Champions League group stage.

There is nothing wrong with placing PSG as one of the favorite teams in the Champions League. I think PSG have just been unlucky in terms of the Champions League title, they have failed many seasons even after reaching the final. This season doesn't look much different either, but who knows? In fact there are many teams that could be seeded in the last 16 including PSG, so they have a chance.
