You are correct. Barcelona's understanding of players is much better than Manchester United's. Manchester United's performance has not been consistent. Erik Ten Hag has always been a coach who's standard's has been high from the first time he was appointed as head Coach main aim is to  win as much games as they can they have shown quite well in some few game's both in Premier League and Europa League.

That’s true until a point. English vs English, Spanish vs Spanish doesn't happen to a point but after a certain stage it is allowed and can face each other. I think it still doesn't happen at this stage, but next stage it could happen, I am not sure when it starts but it could be next stage.

I still think that teams will have a lot of chances to face each other anyway, if they lose before that, they didn't deserve to face each other, if they do, then they can face even in the finals and deserve each other. That is why I do not care about the nationality of the team, but more about how good they are, rather watch good teams last, instead of let them beat each other early stages and then face easier teams.
