Let's see how it is going on. I saw bunch of people last year said the same thing as you when barcelona faced frankfurt, Mu is doing so well in any of EPL matches. Barcelona may have good result in head to head against MU but i think that the chance for both would be the same.
There will be so many surprises going to happen when MU will be against barcelona. I pick MU in this case. Barcelona looks strong enough but i think that i will be risking myself with it.

Manchester United have so great form recently and Barcelona are no longer strong like they were years ago. It helps to make their matches more balancing and increases chance for Manchester United. Barcelona are a little stronger than Manchester United in this season but Manchester United are stronger than Frankfurt.

So let's see how their matches will end in February.

I have a different opinion about the Arsenal club who are in great form in the English Premier League. But recently they have been in great form in the English Premier League. So far they have played 17 matches out of which they have won 14 matches and drawn two matches and lost one match. A look at their stats shows what a great time they are currently having If they can keep up their game in the Champions League with their current form then I think they could be one of the contenders to win the Champions League. Hope they will get better result in future matches.

Yup, there is still enough time to improve for MU and Barcelona. This will be the most interesting match of all the matches in this round. Other matches like Sevilla vs PSV, Juventus vs Nantes are matches that the hosts maybe get win. Meanwhile, Barca vs MU match is still a hot topic of discussion. because we all see MU performance is not completely consistent, while Barcelona also some people say if they are not ready with the current players to compete in European competitions.

Even if we take into account that either United or Barcelona will be left out of the tournament, there are still Arsenal, Monaco, Juventus, PSV, Roma, Ajax. Not withstanding, Arsenal squad depth still looks a little lacking to compete in both competitions. I would say Arsenal and Barcelona seems like the best ones out there for sure. I mean they are both leading their own leagues, and we are not really too used to seeing teams that lead one of the five big leagues to actually not be in the europa.

If you are leading premier league or la liga, then you are 99% chance in UCL or very least eliminated from UCL at quarter finals or something, you are not at this early stage of Europa. Which is why it looks like those two should be able to win it, and they are the biggest candidates. Though Arteta is setting all systems ready for the remaining competitions, I'm still worried about Arsenal's future in EPL top stand. Eric Ten Hag is doing a great job in building a quality team. Ohh my goodness, I'm so sick ans tired of Arsenal fans prattling about a club that doesn't have depth, it's a long journey to that finals actually. More premier league games to be featured, how do one expect Arsenal to win the European League Competition when they don't have a solid back up squad ? @Lordhermes if they come against Roma then they’ll definitely perish, because Mourinho is a serial winner and Arteta side yet doesn’t have the experience of winning a big trophy hence too early to predict for Arsenal’s success. @zaki12 I’m not sure if Manchester United is a opponent to be feared, because if they play McFred and perform like their opening game then they’ll be easily beaten, but I’m sincerely hoping that they can transform themselves quickly and then compete for all the trophies.

Mourinho can fail to help his clubs (not rich clubs) to win their national leagues because there are more challenges than the past with big difference from rich clubs and non rich clubs.

However in cup format like Conference League, Europa League or Champions League, Mourinho can win it with his teams. He did it with Porto, Manchester United and Roma in 2021 - 2022 season with a trophy in Conference League.

With Cup format, Mourinho won't have to think too far and he focuses on each match. With his tactics, if players do his idea well and with luckiness, they can win each knock-out round and go the final match.
