Group C matches ended without a goal. With these results, Denmark and England made it out of the group. Denmark's draw in all 3 matches shows how consistent they are. Spain, Germany and Portugal, well they were all extraordinary in the group stage. And yes, the real challenge starts in the round of 16. Because they will meet other strong teams in that round. But yes, I think it is almost certain that Germany and Spain have the greatest chance of going further.

Germany and Spain are most impressive teams in this Euro but we need to assess Spain in next matches. With young players, Spain might suddenly have bad performances as with young players, it's hard for them to maintain stable good performances.

I have more belief in Germany with big advantage as a host of Euro 2024 and good combination of old, experienced and young players.

I guess his task is to win Euro title with England team so whatever happens, no title means he will see the exit gate. With poor performances of England so far and the negative sentiment, the exit gate becomes bigger for Southgate. There is less reason for FA to keep Southgate if there is no Euro final match, no Euro title this summer.

Germany managed to score a golal in extra time.

I'm so surprise to see Germany struggling to get a draw against Switzerland in a match that many people believed would be an easy win for the host nation. Well, they might have felt that since they already qualified, there was no point fighting too hard but assuming the lost the match, Switzerland would have topped the group. This draw also shows that surprises are not excluded from this competition because many people would have placed a direct win bet on Germany. As for me, I usually avoid games where the favorite side do not have any reason to be too competitive unless I have monitored them so well to see that their care more about records than the trophy.

In fact, we already thought that the Switzerland vs Germany match would be a difficult and fierce match. I enjoyed the way that Slovenia handled the England in the match yesterday. With the kind of excitement that the club's showed yesterday, it was a testament of the joy and happiness that illuminated their faces at the end of the draw game. This left many people asking why the excitement and some of us were able to explain that although, the Slovenia guys draw in their match with the England leaving them at the third place of the table standing yet they were the most excited after the match. Reason being that in the Euro 24, there are only 6 tables instead of the 8 that makes it a standard number. Since, the tables are not up to 8, then there will be a best 3 worse 3 situation where those clubs that have most performing possessions become at advantage over those with least overall performance assessment. If Slovenia falls within the club's with the most advantaged, they will join the 4 3rd place clubs to augment the list of the clubs for the qualifiers.

Our expectations are naturally high from teams like England, France and Italy. Because they have a strong squad. The squad has a lot of talented and star players. But even then we are not seeing the expected good performance from these teams. It's sad.
