I think that in the matches of the day, England - Slovakia will be a match between two teams that are evenly matched.

Now the first half is almost over and we still haven't seen any difference made by England and if it continues I don't feel that the second half will be different because surely with the advantage that Slovakia currently has they will for the start of the second half will reduce the tempo and do a devensive scheme even though they are currently still 1 goal ahead.
Southgate is really bad at managing England in this Euro even though they have a much more complex squad but England's schemes and formations are still bored.

Southgate need to change some players in his squad in this coming half if not they will lose this tournament at this very moment.

I wanted to give the blame to the England defense, but when I checked the line up, I can see that Southgate come up with best team he can both from the defense and the midfield, I don’t know what I should hold as the main reason for England downfall in their matches in this competition.
If they are lucky, they can make it in the second half because they are currently dominating the match.

Hey guys, I don't know, but I see the match between England and Slovakia very bad for England, England go 0 and Slovakia 1, if this continues they will be eliminated, and that would be a very big blow, they already eliminated a great team like Italy, which I honestly didn't think was going to go out, but England with so much quality if it remains, it hurts a bit to see them go, for me this is something that surprises me, but to tell the truth I like the way Slovakia is doing it, their football is great, very forceful, and I see that now things can turn around, if England does not go out with everything, they are left out, it would be something that would hurt me a lot to not see these great players.

I rated Germany above England in the tournament, and I also said that some players needs to do better else they'll not get through to the semi-finals and that statement is gradually becoming a reality if England doesn't step up their game, they need to be hitting the target and create good chances for that to be possible they're short on a goal and needs two goals or more to be ahead in this game. It would be very sad to the English fans if they don't qualify to the next round, their reactions could tell cause they've looked so frustrated, the fans want more and England has to look for every possible means to turn the game in their favour, they've got about 45mins to do that. England will always play like a clueless team until they are been eliminated from the tournament and I see the Slovakia team playing more better than the English side, even if they don't have the big stars in their team they still try to play as a unit with a plan and they are everywhere trying to defend the ball. Since the beginning of this tournament England have been winning in ball possession and they can hang on the ball for 20 mins but nothing to show for and is really frustrating to the fans. I've read some of the opinions of others in the thread where they say that what ruined England for this Euro was not their opponents but Southgate who did manage the team badly and indeed in the 3 group stage matches as well as today's match it was evident. Their matches are very boring for a big team because they are very monotonous in doing the game strategy.

It cannot be denied that no matter how good the team is with the majority of players who have a level above average but when the coach is bad it will not have any impact because the coach is clearly a benchmark for a team in concocting attacks and Southgate cannot do that.

Since the match started, England seemed to get pressured and to be honest it was quite embarrassing to see England current performance, Slovakia who came as a non-favorite team was actually able to surprise England with the pressure they put on the English defense, what the Slovakia players do now in my opinion was quite smart, their trying to lower the mentality of the English players by trying to play a little hard and aggressively,  Slovakia is currently able to lead by one goal over England, although Foden had equalized the score but unfortunately he was first caught in the offside and made his goal disallowed.

Slovakia who are one goal ahead have not tried to reduce the intensity of their game so far, and are even still able to trouble the English defense which does look quite fragile and even almost Slovakia added to their advantage after a mistake made by an English player and made the Slovakian player almost score a long-range goal, currently England position is under pressure but Southgate did not make many changes to increase their attacking creativity,  Looking at England game today, maybe England will soon catch up with Italy.

Well I think it's a little bit too late for that because like you said the time is almost at the close of the game and what I have to say is that they have totally put up a really poor result from a big nation that they are, I mean from the start of the game till 90+ mins no one shot on target. I'm not underestimating Slovakia. They defeated Belgium also before. They are really good at handling big teams with important issues.    However I still thought England would win by 1-0 or so with a boring game. It is not yet over until it is over. Jude Bellingham has brought hope back to England just like what he use to do in Real Madrid. He equalized the goal on the 90+4mins at the right time when the goal is needed.

I can't imagine England performing so badly against Slovakia. I think a lot of gamblers will lose their money in this match. Because England team was hot favorite in this match. And we all thought that England would dominate and win this match. But despite England's players dominating the entire match, the performance of England's attacking players was poor.

I would say England is very lucky. England managed to draw the match by scoring a goal in the last minute. At the end of 90 minutes, the match was tied at 1-1. In extra time I would say England have more chances to win. But Slovakia's defense is very strong. Bellingham saved England at the last minute.

The England players are suppose to be under pressure because right from the start they have never shown any sign given the fans that reason why they're one of the best in this tournament, it is indeed a shame for a strong team to be running around chasing the ball while is suppose to be the other way round. Slovakia did their best I must say because nobody expected such performance from them but since the game has entered the extra time I don't see them holding on for long before England break them open.
Southgate is just the man behind England's misfortune in this tournament with how he is handling the team I don't think they will go far in this tournament even if they win this game, so I'll say the time for the 3 Lions to leave this competition is getting closer.

Jude "THE SAVIOR", and no doubt about that. His bicycle kick helped England avoid losing against Slovakia. The tension was so high when it was a few minutes away, before 96 minutes. Jude has been answering this. I have no words to describe Bellingham as a super hero for England in Euro 2024. 

I was totally aware of how frustrated England's players are, and they frequently play long ball. Walker's throw-in has been saving England from leaving earlier in 2024.

Slovakia's defenders performed well in this match. So I thought England might lose this match. Because while England's players dominated the match, Slovakia's defenders were able to successfully counter England's attacks.

Bellingham's goal drew the match. And in extra time harry kane was able to score the second goal for England. As England are now leading 2-1. I don't think Slovakia will be able to get back on track in this match. Although Slovakia's defense is strong, this team's attack is not very strong.

I wouldn't be surprised as teams are really unpredictable about when to sack a coach. For example, England is still keeping Southgate despite the horrible performance.  

I don't understand Spalletti as well. He said that he didn't have the energy anymore to move on with Napoli. But a short time later we saw him accepting a national job offer. I mean of course national teams are less busy than a club. But still it doesn't make sense to me. I think the best thing for him would be to stay there instead of managing Italy.  

Southgate, bless him, couldn't plan out of a damp paper bag. Spalletti, the genius behind Napoli's historic championship, is criticized for wanting a change, but the English FA coddles him?

Spalletti's move is brilliant. He knows when to leave, unlike Southgate, who's almost a fixture. National team coaching is a unique opportunity to produce something extraordinary without the grind of club football. It's risky, but much more intriguing than Southgate's typical reign. Whoever has led England to mediocrity needs a change of scenery
