Who would have thought England would go through after such a messy game? I didn't really believe it and from the start England were going to lose because of how badly they played but towards the end they were able to go all the way.

England team is able to qualify for the quarter finals because of Bellingham. Bellingham scored in injury time. England scored their first goal in the 90+5 minutes. Slovakia's defenders performed well in this match. So I thought England might lose this match. Bellingham's goal drew the match. And in extra time harry kane was able to score the second goal for England. As England are now leading 2-1. I don't think Slovakia will be able to get back on track in this match. Although Slovakia's defense is strong, this team's attack is not very strong.

To be honest England ain't giving the fans the vibes they had anticipated from the team looking at the calibre of player that constitute it. They have been escaping through each game with a bit of luck and when they'll have to meet a better team I won't be shocked they get exposed for their weakness because seeing how they struggled to get victory with Slovakia was so disappointing for a team that was initially thought to have been the favourite for the trophy in this tournament. I hope Switzerland makes that exposure possible.

Cool the nerves brother, I didn't see the England team that bad yesterday, except for the initial goal drought. You might have expected more from them, which will not let you appreciate neutrally what was happening. But it's football, and anything can happen, we should at least appreciate that they delivered in the end. But scoring in the very first minute against them is not so cool and Slovakia taking it to the last minute of the match has put many under pressure, but in the end, it was good deliveries by Jude and Kane and the 2-1 is not bad at all.  For me, the end has now justified everything.

As for Spain and Georgia, I agree, it's obvious as it can only be luck for Georgia who narrowly won the knockout stage to win Spain which is doing better. And to first score in football doesn't mean anything, at times, the better team might be underrating the situation until they geared up to the challenge. You can see how things play out in both the first and second half, and scoring 3 times in the second half proves the better side. Again, it will be a challenging one between Spain and Germany, but that is if Germany does not disappoint. This is not the first time you will have that big expectation over them that they will fail, but Spain is not always like that. Let's see how that goes. However, France vs Belgium today is another one to watch out for, France should win but Belgium has done well so far too.

England journey to this euro does not seem to be easy because since the group phase began, England has not been able to perform well and consistently in every game they have, when the match started England had difficulty in dealing with the fast game carried out by Slovakia in the match, and even after the first half ended, I began to think if maybe England should indeed will stopped in the round of 16, especially before the 90th minute.  We didn't see any significant game changes from England although it looks like the English players are starting to get very frustrated, luckily England have Bellingham who is able to at least give England hope after his reverse goal in the match towards the end of the match, the comeback goal from England is of course quite dramatic but I think it actually indicates that there is still a lot of work for Southgate to improve in the last 8 later.

When England had to struggle to win from Slovakia, Spain in another match easily won over Georgia last night, Georgia who appeared surprising in the previous match was able to take the lead from Spain with Norman own goal in the 18th minute, but Georgia advantage did not last long and instead made Spain rise and destroy Georgia with a score of 4-1.

I have issues with my assessment for Switzerland's game. Was Italy the worst team in this European tournament here has ever been? Or was Switzerland this superpower that Italy could by no means stop? It is a tough call here. Switzerland played an amazing game but simultaneously Italy was so weak that it was pretty much pure logic Switzerland would seem to be a superpower in European football.

The right answer is: Italy were in their worst ever shape in Euros.    They couldn't do anything against teams showing good performances. Spain and Switzerland are the best examples for that.

Switzerland were just great. The manager Murat Yakın was also very confident of himself that Italy should fear them. He really showed why he was that sure of his team.  
 

Now I am curious whether Georgia can keep this game against Spain exciting for a while. All eyes will be on Mikautadze. That guy is brutally good. It would be fun to see him score a goal in this game at the right time, but I think this is going to be more of a Spain domination.

Georgia did their best, Mamardashvili was really good with his saves too. But they still couldn't prevent that big score like 4-1. Spain has wonderful wingers. Williams on the left, Yamal on the right. It is really not easy to stop dangerous Spain attacks.

Spain have not lost and drawn during this tournament so obviously Spain will make the favorite club to become the champion, I see the fast game of Spain is better than Germany, because they meet early it will be difficult to determine who will win, just want to see this competition produce many goals or attack after attack from both teams.

Germany as the host has a sense of confidence with its motivation, I know these two teams are very good actually Germany has never lost only being held in a draw by Switzerland 1-1.

Yeah, I do agree with you. But playing the best football in this tournament don't mean you'll be winning the tourney. I would also agree with you on this, They're two great sides though but then, I'm still backing Germany for this game. When you look at them both, they have a good side and good quality players who can also detect the game very well.

I've always had Germany upfront and I feel like they'll win it. I love the game yesterday night, having players like Fabian Ruiz and also Rodri brought balance for Spain as they both gave enough freedom to Daniel Olmo, Nico Williams and Lamine Yamal to attack, attack, and attack. A good way to beat Spain is to stop these midfielder's from holding possession and force them to look for the ball, I believe the likes of Toni Kroos in midfied and IIkay Gundogan couple with Jamal Musiala can do that very well.

A Diamond formation would be perfect more like a 4-2-2-1 formation. But immediately they get a goal or two, they can now sit back and wait for Spain to attack so they can exploit them up.

Immediately these midfielder's and wingers are all marked out, it'll be difficult for the number nine Alvaro Morata because he hasn't done anything great for them so far. Team Germany any day, anytime.

Yes you are right, I actually thought England was going to lose this match. But on the 90th minute, Actually after the 90th minute And on the injury time, it was absolutely incredible goal from Bellingham. He really did a "noodlehair Rinaldo" kick . And after that, Harry Kane was able to score and make sure that England win the match.

Is actually a petty for Slovakia on there match yesterday against England because after defending there goal from the beginning of the match to almost at the last minutes England had to score, I can imagine the kind of disappointment they would be because they were very confident of wining England yesterday especially when the time had gone far and they were still leading with 1:0, well just as usual Bellingham was the savior of England yesterday if not they would have been out of the league, so they need to thank Bellingham on his efforts and consistency on that match.
