Suprisenly, the English team have got to the Semi-finals, they've got a squad that's capable of getting them to that point, but from their performance in the tournament I didn't expect them to reach the Semi-finals however, it's football after all and like they say, anything is possible, thanks to the goal from Saka that got them to embark on an extra 30mins and then to a penalty shootout which got them to the Semi-finals and like you said they'll be probably playing against Turkey or Netherlands. Well it would've been easier for the Turkish team to qualify for the Semi-finals if they've held their defense line for about 15-20 mins more but then they allowed Netherlands to utilize their little chance and Memphis Depay scored the equalising goal for Netherlands and then Cody Gakpo scored another goal few minutes later to put them ahead in the game, Turkish defence line was very losed and I think they've missed the chance of qualifying to the next round.

Netherlands might likely win, but I will not disrupt the chances of Turkey team winning since they have surprisingly gotten this far playing pretty well notably against Austria where some would definitely have picked Austria over them base on how Austria played in the groups stage but I think no matter who make it to semi-final against England, England will likely come out victorious

It turned out that Turkey could not hold on until the end because it was indeed more pressure for the Netherlands to Turkey which is more painful is the second goal suicide if this does not happen then Turkey can have time until extra time but this scenario remains different.

On paper England and France have better squad depth than the Netherlands, but that alone cannot reflect how much time they need to win their match in the knockout stages. Spain also needed 120 minutes to win, the Netherlands were only better than Türkiye. If the Netherlands is considered better than France and England because the Netherlands won in 90 minutes against Turkey, then this would also be a strange assumption.

The Netherlands vs Turkey quarter final game in the UEFA Euros Championship tonight I think is one of the most epic games in the competition so far. Before the game, a lot of people predicted that Netherlands were going to easily win the game because of the superiority in terms of quality of players but surprisingly, it was Turkey that was leading after first half. Just like I said earlier in this thread, I know it'll be very difficult for the Turkey team to stop the Dutch team from finding an equalizer in the second half because of the intimidating quality of players in the Dutch team.
After Netherlands equalized, I know they were surely gonna get a winner before the end of full time because they were still pressurizing the Turkish team. Turkey did their best to get a win or even force the game to extra time but their best wasn't just enough. It was going to take more than having to contain the game the way they did to go past Netherlands. Unfortunately for them, an own goal was what let them out. They did well in the first half but, the pressure was always going to come in the second half. They really did troubled Netherland with the set pieces, Arda Güler wasn’t short on his having to carry the Turkish team like he did and nearly scored from a free kick in a most tactical way, going right around the wall with much power.
Half time commentary have it that Memphis be removed as a halftime substitute but, obviously that wasn’t going to happen and he scored the equalizer. Big teams will always be big teams and delivers the win.

I'm also asking myself the same question, it seems like they are looking at each team's squad and not each team's performance. It wasn't a surprise to me that the Netherlands later won their quarter final match against Turkiye by scoring two goals in just 5 minutes. However, England will face Netherlands, and Spain against France in semi finals of the Euro.

The finished quarter final match was all like a finals match. Every team had their best performance and tactics to make sure they win their opponent. God of soccer favored some in their wins through penalty shootouts and some had a late goal win by surprise. Spain and England are my finalist.

England team did not have a good start but slowly they improved. The confidence started to build in the match against Slovakia in the 1/8 finals. The goal from Bellingham to equalize and the Kane's goal in the extra time, England found themselves. Today they were behind but it did not look like that they were in pressure although we had to go for the paneities.
