I think Spain is the favorite. Spain's match strategy is good. Young players are very confident. And for these two reasons, I want Spain to advance.

In this tournament I noticed that many stars who did pretty well in their various clubs haven't lived up to expectations and their performance are nothing to write home about. We go to England and we see countless number of them who are playing nothing close to what they did in their club side like Foden, Kane and the rest of them but let's talk about the France national team where we have the mask man Kylian Mbappé Lottin, he has been struggling with form in this tournament with one goal taken from the penalty spot and you'd agree with me that the injury he sustained in the first game of the tournament played a big role on his performance and I believe is weighing the team down.

The thing about such tournaments is that it's used as a platform to sell yourself to potential prospects and usually less known players will overshadow the big guns as they try to get potential sells to other clubs!

Another reason the big names aren't living up to their names is because everyone knows what they are capable of and defenders assignments are to stop them at all cost, and it's proving to work!!

Other reasons could be possibly to do with players being afraid of getting injured knowing very well their clubs pay better , hence a reserved approach to the game, but one thing is for sure...they don't make them like they did back in the day!

I really don't see any point in calling these players if that's how it is, the thing is that they can't perform well because some are too tired and need a lot of rest before joining their country side but if you see it the way you said then is a big waste in inviting them since they can't uplift the country in this competition. I don't think it happens in Europe where they don't take care of the players, come to Africa that's where it happens and from how I see it things that these players are trying to do can never work out, I mean trying to play less for their country and play way better for their club, if they do that their market value will drop especially those that wants to make a switch of club.

With a new coach Fuente, Spain change themselves and play more directly in attacking. They are no longer obsessive with ball possession like they used to be in the last 10 years or more with Pep Guardiola's success in Barcelona and blossom of tiki-taka tactics. from the way i look at this match, it's going to be way easier for Spain to trash out France than it was for them against Germany. I can't underate France quality both individually and collectively and surely fans would be expecting kelian mbape to get to the finals with his team but the reality is that this season isn't for your regular faces that have been in the limelight for so long. Spain young stars like Niko Williams and yamal have already taken the spot light and have become the favourite to play at the finals.

I think many people would like to see the final Spain - Netherlands, partly because many will be interested to repeat the 2010 World Cup final and see who wins this time, and partly because France and England play similar, very boring soccer and few people like to watch such soccer.

The first impression I saw from the attached screenshot is goals scored by two teams France and Spain which are 3 and 11 respectively. It shows that Spain are more effectively with their attacks and more goal productive than France. If we analyze it further, among 3 goals of France so far, only 1 goal scored by themselves but it comes from a successful penalty of Mbappe. Other 2 goals are from their opponents, own goals.

Spain oppositely, have 11 goals so far and they scored these goals mostly by Spanish players, only one OG by Italian defender Calafiori.

Based on stats alone, France has a decent xG from what I've seen. Some websites reported they have created at least 1.2 xG per match in this competition, which is quite high. If they managed to convert more of them they should be able to score more than 1 goal on average. So one way to read this is that they have a finishing issue. Not sure if they can fix this against Spain, but if the stats are to be trusted they do have the upper hand. Hopefully, the match is entertaining, especially as a semi-final match.
