Bitcoin can already be called a global currency, but it needs to gain even more popularity so that everyone does not know about and could use anywhere without the need for an exchange for ordinary money.
Bitcoin is already accepted globally and used globally as an global currency. Bitcoin is best in terms of trading globally. Also bitcoin has many advantages that attracts new users and even many new countries. Now also many governments are starting some seminar about bitcoins for increasing the knowledge of bitcoins for peoples. Bitcoin just needs to reduce the transaction fees and yes then it will be more profitable.

Bitcoin is already a global currency since its creation. Its available worldwide for everyone having access to the internet connection. In addition it is decentralized, so you don't need to create accounts and verify your identity. So it is obviously a global currency
Yes you are right because companies like Microsoft are now accepting Bitcoins and other companies are also now thinking to start accepting Bitcoins. In Pakistan you can purchase cellular minutes with Bitcoins and convert it easily to paper money or transfer it to your bank account

Bitcoin is significantly different from all coins. And its main difference is the lack of territorial linkage. And this suggests that bitcoin since its inception was a global currency

Certainly, bitcoin is becoming a world wide currency, and will grow bigger in the future. Half of the places I go now, all except bitcoin. I guess that's a good thing for us investors. BTCA global currency, yes. A major global currency, unfortunately not, and it seems a long way off happening too.. There is a long list of countries that are being screwed over with negative interest rates and massively devalued currencies, people in these countries would have done very well getting their money into bitcoin a few months ago, but as can be seen by the low price, they aren't really doing that. I guess price volatility is still too high, or upwards price volatility too low for people to be tempted in on mass. Well as far as I know mate, Bitcoin was made as a global currency since all people can use it, even if some countries have already banned it for some reason that it would greatly affect the livelihood of their people still everyone I mean anyone can still use it. Even if the volatility of price is not that great we can still consider Bitcoin as a phenomenal coin. It is still great for investing, you'll catch some big fishes for sure.

It's already a global currency but not yet fully globally and locally accepted currency, as we all know that some of the countries legalize it and some of countries made bitcoin illegal. Some countries do accept bitcoin but locally they are not fully accepting it. It is better to say that Bitcoin is slowly becoming globally accepted currency.

to me i think bitcoin is already a global currency because people are using bitcoin throughout the world. Well, it is for me as well, even in small countries they are starting to recognize bitcoin already and there are altcoins that are popular now and with them people will also know about bitcoin. This progress is very impressive, and that is because of the people who continued to support bitcoin, in the future we will be big because the adoption continues to grow.

No it can't be, bitcoin need transaction a time will put there, we can easily contact each other and connect to people , send funds easily, but the point here is what if there is a problem with block chain, the transaction will be delay and all of the transaction of people will delay also, that is the disadvantage of bitcoin becoming a global currency.

Bitcoin has gained global popularity due to its nature of transactions. It is very easy to transact with bitcoin and there are no elaborate procedures involved. It can also not be traced easily that is why many people prefer using it. This feature has made it to be liked by many people thus its likelihood of becoming a global currency is high, specially in a time of a global economical decadence like now...

It seems to me that bitcoin is gaining popularity because for many it has become a source of additional income and sometimes the income becomes more than the basic income. The myth of the privacy of bitcoins is wildly exaggerated. You can always be calculated on exchange transactions.

Bitcoin is becoming a global asset! For being a currency the price increase is simply too high. Everybody who buys bitcoin at this point is doing so with the intention of making profit with it. I can't blame the people for doing so, when you have the chance to make a living you need to take it. But the times when bitcoin was a currency are over.

This is a good point a currency minted by a government is meant to be used in its territory nothing more, this is why the system using US dollars is so unstable since it was not created with that purpose in mind, in the past some communities printed their own currency as well but that put a limitation to where you could spend your money, with bitcoin there is not such a limitation and the fact that it is not linked to any state makes it in my opinion the perfect settlement currency in the world.

You're ratio is very bad I mean there would only be atleast one in every region? I mean this is a 'region' we're talking about and if I will be the one to ratio it it would be 10/100 people in the same region have knowledge on how to earn Bitcoin or even I could say that 50/100 people in that region knew what Bitcoin is.

The myth of the privacy of bitcoins is wildly exaggerated. You can always be calculated on exchange transactions. every day bitcoin is growing in popularity as many people from different parts of the world start using bitcoin and automatically the more people then the bitcoin will be increasingly accepted in various retailers, stores, merchants, etc and with that you will be easier to spend on your bitcoin bitcoins
