The idea is this. Let us assume a hundred fold increase in Bitcoin users. You can expect a huge price increase because of this. We then are still talking of a world population of under 10% using Bitcoin. But a price of well over $10 000. But why would people then prefer Bitcoin over an other altcoin that is as good or even better then Bitcoin with a much smaller price? I just think the would go for a cheaper altcoin.
