When traveling to a new country, it's important to be mindful of its unique cultural practices and customs, and Qatar is no exception. We must show respect for their traditions and way of life. However, with the world becoming increasingly diverse, it's essential to recognize that some countries may have different standards and cultures than what we're accustomed to. For example, while drinking beer may be allowed with no restrictions in many places, it's not permitted in Qatar due to religious beliefs. In my opinion, FIFA should consider reevaluating their decision to allow countries with such strict cultural limitations to host the World Cup. It's crucial to ensure that the event is accessible and enjoyable for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.

The world cup is a transnational competition so FIFA should consider other people's cultures or beliefs before giving hosting rights to nations. Most of the most influential or longtime sponsors of the world cup are breweries or brewing companies. The world cup in Qatar made them lose their advertisement slots. FIFA was not too concerned about the implication because Qatar had money to compensate for FIFA's financial losses. But the religious and cultural beliefs affected the world cup negatively. Host nations should be flexible during the world cup period and they can continue with their laws after the world cup.

After all Saudi Arabian government permitted Cristiano Ronaldo to cohabit with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez because they wanted him to play football in the country. This means that these laws can be readjusted or relaxed to suit world cup fans. These laws should be restricted to only the nationals of the country and those that have the same religious or cultural beliefs. But fans with different religious views or cultural beliefs should be allowed to enjoy the world cup without restrictions.

Yes, that is one example that rules can be bended for certain situations like Ronaldo being exempted with the rules because he is not a Muslim, and the league needs him to bring success on the club and the whole SPL. I bet FIFA have learned a thing or two about what happened in the last World Cup and that made them think that certain scenarios should be exempted even if a Muslim country will host it because it is expected that all kind of people with different culture will flock towards them to be entertained and enjoy the event.

I would not worry too much about the security in such sport events to be honest, the United States intelligence agencies have quite enough experience to track and follow the steps of those who may have bad intentions while traveling to the next world cup.

Lately, there has been some criticism about them, under the Biden administration, however this is such a big event that it would be foolish (even reckless) not to stay alert for possible terrorist threats.

I doubt there would be a massive cancelation of Visa just because of the visitor's nationality, I would not be surprised if Trump tried again if he wins.

Well.. 10 years ago (on April 15, 2013 to be precise), the Boston marathon was attacked with bombs. A total of 3 people died, and close to 300 ended up with injuries of various severity. So terrorists attacking sporting events in the United States is nothing new. But in this case, the attackers were homegrown (Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev), and they arrived in the United States on valid visas. The perpetrators arrived in the US back in 2002 on tourist visas and then successfully applied for asylum. This is the reason I am saying that the US authorities will be cautious with all these visitors in 2026.

I know about that case. I have seen documentary films of it and I must say USA authorities alledgedly also were at fault as well. It is said that the oldest brother was a CIA asset who was promised USA citizenship (so he could compete in the national boxing team, or so) and after doing what he was told by his handlers, he did not received his citizenship.

So he decided to take revenge by involving his little brother in that horrendous attack.

Do not misunderstand me, there is no nation which security is perfect but the United States have learnt much in these lastest decades.

FIFA usually changes the rules of the places where it hosts the world cup.

For example in Brazil they had a law that didn't allow selling alcohol inside the stadiums, but when the world cup was hosted there, they literally changed the law to allow that.

FIFA is a massive corporation, able to do pretty much anything they want to.

Yes, I also know that and I was expecting to see the same thing happening to Qatar when they hosted the world cup but unfortunately, instead of changing the rules, they still kept their rules about beer, alcohol, and LGBT which is not good and surely this can take the freedom from the people who visit this country.

They suspended drinking alcohol while if they have enough money there will not be any problem even if they do that in Qatar.

Also, Qatar banned alcohol because of Islam while they killed many foreign workers who came to this country because of their hard work and surely Islam is against killing these workers and this can be a greater sin in any religion.

Americans have this habit of poking their nose in all these third world nations, rather than minding their own business. As a result, sometimes they face unintended consequences such as terror attacks. I was trying to say that sports events in US do have risks associated with them. And this one is such a massive event, which will see millions of fans travelling to the United States. Qatar managed the security quite well last time, partly because they are such a small country. But 2026 is going to be different. Matches are scheduled to take place in several cities, which are thousands of kilometers apart from each other.

Although Brazil was forced to change that rule, we did not notice any change in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, that is, the game was completed according to the rules set by the Qatari government from the beginning of the season until the end.
Alcohol was banned in Qatar, extramarital affairs were banned, homosexuality was banned, there were specific rules on women's clothing but none of these were changed by the Qatari government. Despite these strict regulations, the Qatari government managed to successfully complete the World Cup tournament. Qatar is a predominantly Muslim country, so it is natural to have such a rule in that country. Hope future world cup football lovers can sit in the stadium and enjoy the match well by enjoying the maximum facilities.

That I cannot disagree but that is very true mate, that is one of the downside of America because they are not minding their own business even if it doesn't directly involve them. It is a habit that sometimes put the whole country at risk and this time, they will face a dangerous situation again because a big event like the World Cup will take place in their country and they cannot avoid the factor that there might be some guys who are planning something in the guise of being an audience in one of the games. That means that while the country is having fun, let's expect that their medium in security will be tough including the screenings of every port and airport.

As far as I can see it, only two things will happen;

1. FIFA learned their lesson and will not let these Muslim countries to host another FIFA event in the future

That might be the case because Saudi Arabia has also expressed their interest that they also wanted to host a World Cup soon and preferably this coming 2030 but they are not alone with that because again, three nations (Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Greece) have combined and submitted their bid to host the 2030 World Cup. So hopefully, FIFA will impose a condition to Saudi that hopefully they are open to the fact that their rules might not apply to the other people who are just there for their country to watch some games.

There are many rumors about new decisions in the government of America and some people think Joe Biden is going to make some changes in the government of America and the steps to get the visa and make it easier for people in all over the world to take via for America but the fact about taking visa is it's not the same for all people in different countries because for countries that's easier and for some other countries with bad a relation shop with America this will be harder.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/03/16/us/visa-process-united-states.html

Yeah but you can't really compare general population data of visas denied with visas for the world cup.

On the other hand it could clearly be an excuse, so they might get a bit paranoid, and deny visas from African fans.

Here I consider something, at the moment that people buy the tickets to the world, those people have to be assigned a visa immediately, according to the number of tickets that the people buy, because it is something that has to be like that, I think that in A World Cup should not have or exist borders for anyone, neither for Africans nor for people who come from other places that other countries consider prohibited or prohibited, because that does not make sense to me, and even less because it comes from decisions of world wars or something like that, I think that the existence of borders is something that should not exist, because we are all humans, or at least until now things with the aliens have not yet been released to the public to know how it is.

As long as there is only one race, which is human , that should not exist, Unless a world War is created and all the countries of the world participate to remove that beto , the truth is that for me it does not make sense, then in Such a glass a visa to go see the world is not bad , I Consider that a person who eats enters to go to the World Cup, should be granted from at least 5 days before the start of the World Cup and that it expires 5 days after the World Cup ends I believe that this is the most appropriate , and for any person without exception, wherever they come from and those who remain in the country illegally , as this is very difficult to Control, but that is what the authorities are for and I believe that this is not so hard for them to grab people and throw them away.

I know that any method that is going to be applied by the USA so that they can enter the country will be used, that is something that can and will happen, people who want to enter the USA will only have to get a ticket for a soccer match, I don't know if they will give visas for a certain time, or how it will be, if it is for a permit for 1 month or something like that, what is difficult to determine is how many people are going to stay in the country Illegally , that is what is difficult Easy to determine , I don't know how they will do it , but it's quite a Challenge Really.

Borders are absolutely necessary.

Each country has it's own way of existing, with their own laws. And people inside those countries live the outcome of their own government.

Part of those laws is defining who gets to stay in the country. A citizen might lose their citizenship based on their actions. Another person might be granted citizenship based on their actions.

You can't just have a wild west where anyone can just come in and out as they please. Would you be happy to have anyone just entering your own home without you first deciding if you want to invite them? The same applies to a country.

As far as I can see it, only two things will happen;

1. FIFA learned their lesson and will not let these Muslim countries to host another FIFA event in the future
2. FIFA will still let these said countries to host an event given that they will flexible enough to accept that there might be some rules that needed to be bend

Either way, FIFA is still on the winning side because there are still many countries out there that can host an event successfully without having some problems. A country that is more open and can give freedom to the people that will flock to their country to watch the said event.
Qatar, Dubai or Saudi Arabia, these three countries are strong enough financially, so if any of these three countries wants to host the World Cup, then maybe FIFA should not stop them. In the last World Cup, we saw Qatar beat the United States to become the World Cup hosts themselves. But when Qatar was the host country in the last World Cup, as a Muslim country, they set some policies for foreign visitors. The Qatari government has made it clear that they cannot change their religion for one month, and FIFA supports their policy. I think not only Islamic countries but all other countries will never change their religion for a month and also change their laws.

As far as I can see it, only two things will happen;

1. FIFA learned their lesson and will not let these Muslim countries to host another FIFA event in the future
2. FIFA will still let these said countries to host an event given that they will flexible enough to accept that there might be some rules that needed to be bend

-snip-
It seems that FIFA will never have a burdensome rule not to use a country that has a majority Muslim population because in the previous World Cup it was in Qatar and there the majority of the population is also Muslim, after all not all Muslim countries have strict rules and are too fixated on religious regulations.
I myself have seen many things that Muslims are a religion that has high tolerance and they don't even differentiate between one religion and another and many articles also state that Muslims are a religion that accepts all human beings as brothers and sisters regardless of country, religion or race different.
So I don't think it's possible for FIFA to provide restrictions or rules for hosting the World Cup just because it's a Muslim-majority country.

As far as I can see it, only two things will happen;

I won't personally blame Islam and other Muslim countries for what happened in Qatar because even though Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country but they give freedom to the people who visit their country and other than some religious places they didn't take hard about Islam rules in other places.
However, I think it's safe to don't let Muslim countries host the world cup anymore or at least ask them to make some special rules during the World Cup.

But then again, you know, there's this thing where some people might think there's a problem because of religion, and it's all tied up in misunderstandings. Really, it's about sports, not religion, right?

One of the reasons why FIFA conducted the tournament in Qatar was because they wanted to give an opportunity to the Middle-east to host the biggest sporting event in the world. The fact that Middle-east has never hosted any such tournament previously gave them a big plus point. But in the end, the entire selection process was marred by accusations of bribing. FIFA wanted Qatar to host the event at any cost, and therefore they ignored all these complaints. But then the Qataris also played hardball in the end, banning alcohol and LGBT couples.

That will be more comfortable for the visitors as well because they cannot just expect that from these visitors to obey all their rules specially that alcohol thing and sleeping with a woman even if they aren't married yet because they came from anther country which got rules that are more flexibles. Rules will be their as a guide but when it comes to these events, those rules should be bent because people cannot enjoy some things if ever they will impose it strictly.

That was a disaster and was all for money.  Fifa is one of the more corrupt sports organizations.  That touny shoukd have never been played there no reason for it.  The death toll on workers building out the infrastructure alone they should be condemned for but fifa barely spoke a word about it.
