If in case he will win and Casimero will continue his winning stats, we might see them meeting in the same ring as long as Inoue
choose to stay in this current division.

f Inoue is also willing to fight Casimero, it would be intriguing, considering that Inoue had a chance to face Casimero in the bantamweight division but chose not to pursue it. Now that they will meet in the super bantamweight division, hopefully Casimero will become a mandatory challenger, leaving Inoue with no excuses to avoid fighting him.

Why don't we just focus on Inoue's upcoming fight? Whether we like it or not, it seems unlikely for them to face each other if it's not something desired by Inoue's camp. Inoue is incredibly fortunate with his rise, and if he wins this fight, he can proceed to a unification fight or move up in weight class again.

It's because as fans of Casimero, during John Riel hype we have been hearing that the fight is imminent and we almost seen that happen last year. If just Casimero has beaten Butler though.

There is a possibility that Casimero may even retire without proving himself against Inoue. Perhaps Inoue's camp is also afraid that Casimero might have a lucky shot and diminish Inoue's fame.

It's possible too that Casimero and Inoue might fight in the future, who knows, maybe there is a time that Casimero becoming the number 1 contender to a belt that Inoue is holding. And I doubt that the Japanese camp is afraid of Casimero, it's that it's not worth it anymore.

Naoya Inoue doesn't seem like the kind of guy that avoids difficult fights. Fulton is a slick American fighter with an undefeated record. In many people's eyes Fulton is the more difficult challenge when compared to Casimero. There was already an agreement for them to fight years ago but the pandemic derailed those plans. There is a long line of fighters waiting for an opportunity to face Inoue, since he is the biggest draw in these smaller weights. Casimero has to prove that he is better than the rest in order to be at the front of the line but the weight issues and promotional problems have set him back in his career.

Yeah, if Inoue is scared of big fight, he wouldn't accept his fight against Fulton in this new division for him. Casemiro need to become a champion, then it's 100% we will see he will fight with Inoue. If he's only an average boxer, it just depends on Inoue's promoter to accept the fight or not.

However it's already 19 days to go before this fight will happen, there's no odds change, so people are still definitely think Inoue will beat Fulton.

Casimero's path to becoming a champion won't be easy since he has yet to have a championship fight. Currently, all eyes are focused on the upcoming Fulton vs. Inoue fight. By the time Casimero becomes a champion, Inoue might have already unified a belt and could potentially decide to move up in weight class once again.

I hope that doesn't happen, as it would make it evident that Inoue is deliberately avoiding Casimero. Moving up weight classes after just a few fights in the super bantamweight division is a risky decision. We can't be certain if Inoue will be able to retain his power and maintain his speed as he continues to move up.

As per https://www.sportingnews.com/us/boxing/news/stephen-fulton-vs-naoya-inoue-date-time-channel-odds-undercard-2023-boxing-fight/mwcibjot4vt4lblzgpwa9otj

Inoue is currently -250 to win, it's a huge favorite but I'm sure the value is still good as long as we put a good amount of money.

He's 34 years and maybe he might not get that fight since he's almost at the peak of his career or maybe even if we can see the fight between Inoue he became so slow because of age and Inoue will just finish him off easily. For now let see what will be the result of Fulton vs Inoue since this might be the deciding factor on what step Inoue should take. If Inoue will get this fight then provably he will not going to fight Casimero since he cannot earn anything from him.

If Inoue will gonna just beat his opponents easily just like he beats those guys in the lower weight division, then there's no point for him to stay in his weight class anymore rather he should continue to fully max his potential until he reached his limit and be one of the pound for pound legend in the boxing history. He is still young and surely he will gonna face some real contenders in every weight division and maybe Casimero will be one of them so that he won't be having any doubts about his skills that he was able to beat every opponent out there that are once great like him in his era.

You have a valid point. Inoue is indeed making history, so it's likely that he will move up in weight class if he believes he can continue to win in a higher division. I'm not sure if Pacquiao is his idol, but if he is, then he should consider following in Pacquiao's footsteps. After all, they are both Asian fighters, and it would be a source of pride for Asians to dominate the boxing world.

Just one opportunity, so we can see if Inoue could really stand against a tough challenger like Casimero. I'm sure all boxers are well aware of his power, but since Casimero is the kind of boxer who does not engage in hit and run tactics, we will surely witness a very entertaining fight. Both fighters' durability will be tested.

I'm sure though that Casimero could've defeated Butler if there were no issues in his weight at that time because I don't really think that the latter stand a chance with the likes of Casimero and hence why it was an easy fight when the latter fought Inoue in an undisputed fight because Butler knows that he don't have what it takes to defeat those kind of boxers, no offense.

I believe that Casimero and Inoue will soon have their own time to fight, it's just that Casimero is still way below the standings to be the mandatory challenger and if he can continue his success and have a fight before this year ends, his chances to face Inoue in the future will increase.

Let's see first if his body can handle some extra weight, the ones that are required in featherweight and above, as talking about the next weight classes are kind of premature as of now because Naoya Inoue is still approaching his first fight at 122 pounds against a champion. Moreover, we don't know yet if his body frame will let him go as far as 130 and 135 lbs.
But if everything will be fine in this current division, I also don't see any reasons why he should remain fighting at 122 because given his status in the industry now, he should take advantage of it while the opportunities are still there.

well, we are very close to the fight happening, 19 days to go, this is a fight in which Fulton was lucky to benefit a lot from the fact that his opponent had an injury, with that Fulton had much more time to prepare for this fight, he had much more time to be able to analyze his opponent and with that he could also focus on developing a better strategy that is more suitable to cause damage to the opponent and as he could also defend himself from the opponent's attacks, he had free time until even to open go watch the fight of Tank against Ryan Garcia

well, in my opinion for now and seeing that Fulton had more time for mental and physical preparation, and knowing that his opponent had an injury and did not have the same time for mental and physical preparation, then I see Fulton with greater chances of leaving with victory in this fight, I will wait for more news over the days, I will also be watching the odd variations and the analysis and news from the sites I follow so that later I can decide who I will bet on, but for now I am of the opinion that Fulton can win this fight

Yes, I agree, it's too premature for us to judge Inoue, but we have seen many great boxers to move to different weight class and still manage to do a very good shift without noticing any difference from their power and speed.

Maybe his frame can take it, is height is listed as 1.65 m, so it's around 5.5 to 5.6 inches, so physically he should be fine.

But if he goes up in weight to let's say 126 lbs and up, now that will be different as his small frame can't take it. But let's see, the fight is slowly getting the hype is needed for Inoue and Fulton.

Something that fans really wanted to witness way back from their previous division,

before they decided to climb up, if Casimero manage to maintain his weight and beat Butler, the chance of witnessing the
between Inoue and Casimero might take place. But it's not the end as the chance of crossing the path again is still possible
if Casimero will continue to win and become a good challenger while Inoue manage to beat Fulton.

It's foregone conclusion now, we will have to wait what Casimero can bring in this division. If he can bring the hype when he was still at 118 lbs then good for him. But the fight that we wanted to see him is against Luis Nery but it is not happening.

As for Inoue vs Fulton, I think the fight training could be at the peak right now and then winding up in the last couple of weeks as they don't want to overtrain. Specially Fulton who has been waiting for this fight as Inoue suffered a injury as far as I can remember.

I'm expecting that they are both in good form since this fight was already postponed due to an injury suffered by Inoue. The beast should be okay now as the injury isn't too serious, and he has had ample time to train. Good luck to both fighters. Until now, I haven't changed my mind. Although I believe Fulton could win, Inoue is simply too skilled as a boxer.

There have been no negative rumors regarding this fight, so let's be optimistic that it will push through. They can't afford to postpone this fight anymore, as the fans are very excited to see it. Fulton has a good advantage here in terms of health factor, as his training was continuous compared to Inoue, who was injured and probably had to rest for a bit. However, since Inoue is just an exceptional boxer, I'm sure his die-hard fans won't consider the disadvantage.

I also have that impression that Casimero could have defeated Butler that time because he has the momentum at 118 lbs and he is that defending WBO belt champion. But then again, history is not on is side, as he suffers weight issues.

Anyhow, I also believed that maybe they will have their time in the future to fight. But it might not end good for Casimero as he is ageing already but Inoue is not even in his prime at 122 lbs.

But first Inoue will have to proved himself against a tough champion in Stephen Fulton.

Yeah, I feel the same too. It's been postponed already because of that injury, so hoping that everything is fine now.

Inoue's winning chance is still good in my opinion, even there's an injury if that's being take cared of his doctors and trainers
it might now affect his overall performances.

It's more on how he will handle Fulton and how he will attract the champ to engage with him, knowing that Fulton is more
on a defensive type of fighter.

Injuries seems to heal already, as there are no news of it and Inoue has been training hard and there are videos of him already doing sparring seasons. Of course the winning chance of Inoue is very high as he is the favorite in this fight.

Nevertheless, Fulton is a very different bread of champion, I mean he held 2 belts already and defeated a great challenger in Brandon Figueroa. So it will be a big test for him to travel to Japan and challenge their home town hero in Inoue. So expecting to be a great fight between this two great champion.
