Yeah I just remember this, we wont have any major football league for a while until everything start back up so I kinda wonder what will we get each week. Im definitely not good with random sports but I guess that applies to majority of us I guess

As slackovic said, there is always something going on in the world of football so I don't think that should be a problem (unless its important to have big games every week). For example, next week we have UEFA Nations League final tournament, then in ~2 weeks early Champions League qualifications start etc and soon enough we are right back at the start of major football leagues.

I have noticed that the majority here have chosen Manchester City to win the Champions League title, but I have decided to go with Inter Milan, even though they are considered the underdogs. This is because in most finals, Italian clubs have been able to defeat English clubs, especially Liverpool. And Good luck to everyone.

I would have gone for Inter Milan too because of their rich history over English  teams, but they way City are playing at the moment...you can't write them off to get their first ever UEFA CUP! Wouldn't surprise me if Pep calls it quits after this achievement because he knows he won't defend it.

We also have an option of just skipping a week in case it is real bad situation that week or maybe throw in a initial qualifying round for the cup. We plan to have round new round live every Sunday but it isn't written in stone and we are not checking in detail all the weeks until league ends. We know major competitions we want to target and rest of the questions get decided on week to week basis.

Some notes and explanations are below:

• We used the price of 26.440$ when recalculating the prizes to mBTC equivalents. That is the BTC price at the time when we received funds to the escrow wallet.
• We received more funds from Sportsbet - they sent 254 mBTC or an equivalent of 6.715$ - we will use the rest for the Cup or some side competitions.
• Total prize pool is increased to roughly 7.150$ and 2.020$ in freebets
• We have roughly 18.5 mBTC left to spend - it will all be spent in this season

This season we have introduced penalty points for late submissions. Every time you submit late you will get one penalty point. Due to the way our league is setup we can't calculate them easy every week. We will have separate penalty points table that will get updated every week but only incorporated into ranking tables on the last round of season. It will be added to OP as well. After round one table looks like this:


wwzsocki is out of the league. All his matches will be graded as 3:0 for his opponents unless someone comes as replacement.
itshalaa has one more round to start actively playing, if he doesn't all his matches will be graded as 3:0 for opponents as well unless someone comes as replacement.

Am looking at how this Champions league final is unfolding, and am left to ask myself how market weighting was done...I mean for a final City should have never been priced anywhere below 2odds  as what am seeing in the first ~15minutes  doesn't suggest an easy game..
And as expected , the Italians are always going to suckup that city energy and try to catch them on counters,anyway back to my screen.

Of course I watched tennis. Can't believe Alcaraz did not forfeit this one, he really had no chance after the cramp. Too bad, that incident robbed us of potential match of the year performance.

Well having some competition going is makes following the events always a bit more fun.

That was a close game between City and Inter. It is once more not Haaland who decided the game and I have just had a quick look at the highlight summary again and I have to say that Inter did at least deserve to tie the game in the 90 minutes. I thought that it is going to be hard for Manchester City, but respect for Inter's performance. When you are up against Manchester City and the game goes like that, you are definitely worthy of the title. City wasn't able to get their game going for an extended period of time. This trophy could have gone to Milan as well and nobody would be surprised after yesterday's game.

It is a bit sad for De Bruyne as every player wants to contribute full time in such a game and he got already injured in the last final.

They had more chances later on which fell for Lukaku but then it was already 1:0 for City and I am not sure it would be enough, but goal from that mistake would have gutted City.

I've never rated Lautaro he is not a brave striker; he nearly ruined Argentina's World Cup chances, and the coach was brave enough to let him sit on the bench and watch; he ruined Inter Milan's chances of winning with poor decisions and selfish play; he saw Lukaku running behind in an open space, but as usual, he tried to score from a tight angle. The goal may have completely changed the outcome.

That Lautaro missed chance felt like it was the best half chance they had all night and for Lautaro's quality that was some poor execution, and you could actually tell that this was the best chance after Onana spoke his mind out over this incident at the end of the game..Poor INter Milan

Speaking of Lukaku, I think we have seen these missed chances one too many times over the years, and am not surprised that he failed to get on the scoresheet after 2-3 great chances...whatever gets in his mind really needs a shake down to get his confidence and scoring back on track!

Yes, and the Man City that we saw yesterday was actually beatable. From the first minute you could see that there is something massive on the line for Man City and there is something big they could lose. It was kind of how a team would play that still has some trauma in the back of their heads from the lost finals in the past and Inter Milan did their job even better than expected.

The chances they had in the last part of the game, especially the header when Ederson was essentially hit by the ball and the ball defended by Ederson, should have been a goal. Even though it was very chaotic in that situation, he could have given the ball a different direction.

But good to see that Man City did it. They deserved it for the way they played all season long (past seasons included).

Here are some basic sports grading rules for BSFL that will be incorporated in OP. It is quite difficult to cover all the outcomes in all questions and these should help avoid some misunderstandings. Let us know if we missed something obvious. We will add to them over the time for other sports when we find the need for it. Sports Grading Rules – Following will be taken in consideration unless otherwise stated in the question itself
* Football question are regular time, no extra time or penalties.
* Cards in football are counted both on pitch and off pitch. Yellow card is one point, red card is 2 points. Second yellow is one point. Meaning any player can accumulate maximum of 2 points.
* Player props, like goals scored or assists are for the purposes of our competition are counted as valid even if player did not play a single second of the game.
* Forfeits in sports like Tennis or loses due to technical problems in eSports are counted as regular ML wins.
