Round 1 didn't go well for me I'm afraid and got a loss by 4-2 against Rikafip. I hope to be successful against MAAManda in Round 2. I have checked our answers on the spreadsheet and the look of it was surprising to me. Because I wasn't expecting this many same answers.    It's like only a couple of answers are different and the rest of them are the same as far as I can see.

This means that we can have a quite close score at the end. Let's see which one of us will be more successful on the different ones.    Last season wasn't very good for me as I barely made it to playoffs. This time I will try to be more focused and especially do more research about the question of the sports I don't know.

I hope to be successful against MAAManda in Round 2. I have checked our answers on the spreadsheet and the look of it was surprising to me. Because I wasn't expecting this many same answers.    It's like only a couple of answers are different and the rest of them are the same as far as I can see.

The results in the Belgium match against Austria will certainly make a difference, mate. I answered that Belgium would win with a score below 3.5 goals while you answered above 3.5 goals. I'm not sure you can manage to get 3 points against me in round 2, Because Austria isn't a weak team, so there will be few goals here. Whatever can happen, let's just see the end result later.

I really don’t think it’s because they don’t believe in their team any, but I’d say it’s more like edging your bet here, at least that’s what I think, most would rather see their country in the finals and lose a point just, than otherwise in my opinion, and more so it doesn’t give their guesses away because some might are actually feel pretty good about getting a H2H advantage over when they’re quite familiar with your preferences. Or maybe I’m wrong totally and they’re more of an insider than we are, so maybe there’s more than what meets the eye in this instance.

GG jayce, just glad we both gave it a good go, different answers to every question except City and Stanley Cup. I'm more relieved than anything to get a win in BSFL, which sort of goes to show what quality we're up against every week.

Nations League will be tricky, I think, because it'll be a glorified friendly and you can't trust coaches and teams to play the same way as in other competitive matches, and lineups aren't at all clear yet.

I actually got some chills down my spine after seeing my name appear of the platform, and this apparently 2nd or 3rd, and this shows how serious how SB are actually taking this, I just implore every other players to reciprocate the energy that Sportsbet.io is channeling into this competition and continue to do their due diligence and not just give free points to their, except against me (Of course, haha) as it only would only undermine their efforts and that of the CRO2 team as organizers, everyone have a life outside this room and yeah we know that, but if you can't spare less than 2 hours a week to do proper analysis on some sports you'd probably gamble on, or at least in the name of fairness don't just put some random BS without minimal effort trying to make findings about a sport you don't have a knowledge, it takes barely a couple minutes to get good information about these things and making an informative/opinion-based guesses, there is no fail proof to these questions, but it makes no sense putting no effort whatsoever.

Harkorede will be monitored closely for fears of insider information. It is almost unheard of for someone to get 8/10 correct answers

Lol, now it would be funny if you guys knew how I was scrolling through the past Vegas Knights results and thought, well, they do have games here and there when they score 5 or more, but this game is so important and the Panthers will resist, could very likely end in a 4:2. But a 9:3 I can't even recall I saw a result like that when I checked the results of their last season games.

Considering that we now have 50+ players on 2 platforms, we want to have fixed deadlines and we'll aim for Tuesday, 17:00 GMT for all rounds. We will probably keep the same deadlines even in rounds in which there is no real benefit to you if you answer later - like this one.
As you can see, we're still struggling with some players not answering and some answering late. It is not really beneficial for the competition, so from our side we'll do what we can to try and minimize it. Fixed deadlines is one way to do it, negative points for being late for submission another one.

We really suggest you all to install the forum notifications Telegram bot, it helps you a lot because we tag you twice for each round of questions - when we release them and a few hours before the deadline if you haven't submitted the answers yet.

This was actually my trick question. I was sure they would go with under 4,5 and was happy to form the question in a way you'd all go with over.
Bobrovsky has been destroying the Panthers throughout the whole series, in their first 2 away games he had .7 and .88 save percentage and yesterday he had .75 again.
That is simply horrible, below every acceptable standard and no team can play confidently with a goalie like this.

I knew that someone would burst my bubbles about today's game. Now that I read your post I can only agree with you. However I really hope that we will win today so that we get silver at worst just because it might be the last competition with Modrić in the national team. I know that he said he will play for the national team for as long as the team needs him, but he can't go against his age and soon he won't be able to play at the highest level. I would rather not see him in the national team than to see him playing just because he is Modrić.

I am trying a new tactic this season, by not checking the spreadsheet this results. I know there's no meaning in the tactic but last season I checked almost every day and jinxed myself even when calculating that I won.

So the funny thing is I don't actually remember all my answers lol but anyway, it's rare to get a non football/tennis game as a first points decider.

BTW, I believe Croatia is better than Netherlands. Last World Cup Netherlands played like shit, too. Gakpo saved them it's all. I think that the Netherlands team doesn't really suit us. They play fast and aggressive, we will probably control the midfield but that won't be the area where the ball will be.
They will overload our flanks and won't let us calmly build while in possession, and it remains to be seen how much will Modrić and Brozović even play after excruciating seasons that they had.

I do feel we're better than Italy though, who I expect to lose against Spain. I put us in the 3rd spot, but I have to say that neither of these teams really stand out at this point in time. Italy's by far the worst though.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have the most exciting blavk talent in Europe doing well at club levels, join together at the national level, go into every game with great confidence, and dump shit when you least expect it. Same vibes

Maybe the reason why England's players are considered as more talented is because they come from England whose national league is considered as one of the best. Croatian national league is trash compared to the top European leagues. Maybe that's why Croatian players are never considered as stars. But majority of our national team players play in the top 5 European leagues and most of them are standard players in their clubs.

I would say mainly because of our mentality, always the best in important matches and against top opponents plus world class midfield. Not many teams in the world had anything close to Raktić, Modrić, Brozović and Kovačić. That is also England's biggest problem, they have one world class striker in Kane, shitload of world class wingers and nothing in the midfield. All their midfielders are just mediocre defensive players like Henderson and Philips, Mount and Maddison have some creativity when they get a chance but I would take any of our guys before them. Things could change for the better for England with Belingham now, he is the link they were missing lately.

Also All England players are overrated due to Premier League quality and rule that PL clubs have to have certain amount of English players. There is not enough of them going around and if you are young promising English player your price is by default 5x of same qoulity some other nationality player.

For the driver match-up, for example, without mentioning the names, there's one pair where the favourite odds-wise is huge, but performance wise, he's only beaten the guy once (when they both finished). For me it makes much more sense to bet on the underdog here given H2H this season he has an equal performance. But I must learn not to pick that underdog for this BSFL format, I believe that was my mistake last season, giving away points on big underdog.

from my point of view, Netherlands are favorite in this duel as hosts, if it is played in Croatia, I would go with Croatia, match can go either way, but being host is a solid advantage
nevertheless, Italy and Spain should be a better duel, but these are glorified friendlies after all, and motivation is questioned, although Italy is motivated by missing WC, and Spain by lousy result on WC, so I decided to go with them for Finals/3rd place

Netherlands changed coach, but I don't see their QF as bad result, so Final should be a good compensation
