Lahore Qalandars and Islamabad United are going to face each other in the first match of the Pakistan Super League today. Last year, Sahibzada Farhan was playing for Lahore Qalandars and he delivered a good and average performance, and often bad, but still he was a good player and a top-order player. He was able to make partnerships and knew the techniques to open the game. But yesterday he was playing against Lahore Qalandars. He is in the Islamabad United team now.

On the other hand, it was the evergreen Colin Munro who guided the Islamabad United towards a win, after Andries Gous got out cheaply. In a few hours, we have the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators.

However, David Wiese who played for Namibia but he is very good power hitter and in the previous seasons, he helped Lahore Qalandars very well to win the critical games. In the later part of the innings, Kusal Mendis played a brilliant knock of 35 in only 14 balls. Not only this, Rilee Rossouw also made 21 runs in only 10 balls. Later when they come to bowl, Abrar Ahmed took four wickets and destroyed the batting line of the opponent. Also, it was good to see Mohammad Amir taking a couple of wickets.

The Lahore Qalandars team is not looking good for this season. They lost the first game against Islamabad United. Fakhar Zaman who was their main batsmen and top order player out making a single run while the other opener, who is new, Muhammad Naeem was also out early by scoring just 8 runs but then the good player arrived in the top order Abdullah Shafique who scored 66 in 38 balls and raised the hopes of Lahore Qalandars but still from the other end, back to back wickets were falling and at the end of the innings Lahore Qalandars just scored 139. You cannot win a T20 match with such low scores.

It was a great achievement on their part that their batsmen made this target with hard work and good performance. Lahore Qalandar team should be ashamed that they lose in the first match of every year. Last year they reached the semi-finals but could not do anything further but in these matches of this year people are watching them with a lot of hopes. Yes, the way their batsmen were playing, I think the target would have been less than 100. If other players had worked hard along with Abdullah, it could have been difficult for Islamabad. Islamabad won the match with their good performance and efforts are being made to improve the dream points and the team.

Abrar Ahmed badly destroyed the PZ's middle order. Mohammad Amir took the first wicket and the last wicket. He gave the team a boost by taking the first wicket and boosting his team's confidence. Later, Abrar Ahmed came and did not relax the situation. Instead he was taking wickets, though his economy rate was on the high side. I think Quetta Gladiators could be the strongest team of this season as they have a wonderful batting attack, Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen and the middle order is also strong, while the bowlers they have Abrar Ahmed and Muhammad Amir, those are really helpful for the team.

The third match of the Pakistan Super League saw a lot of hard-fought battles. In the third match, Multan Sultans batted first and managed to score 234 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, which resulted in a target of 235 runs for Karachi Kings. When Karachi Kings came out to bat with a target of 235 runs, they batted aggressively from the beginning and were able to score good runs in every over and finally Karachi Kings reached their target in 19.2 overs. In the first match, we saw no big scores, in the second match, one team scored big but the other team lost by a big margin, but in the third match, we saw big scores from both teams.
There is another big match in the Pakistan Super League today, where Quetta Gladiators will take the field against Lahore Qalandars. Hopefully, we will see a big score for the team in this match too.

With so many leagues , it seems like I'm in a that situation about which league to leave out and which league to keep on my watch list. I had forgotten that the Pakistan Super League has already been started.
If I want to say something about this match, last season both Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars were in a bad position but Quetta Gladiators were comparatively ahead of Lahore Qalandars in terms of points earning. Now if the effect of last season is also seen in this season then Quetta Gladiators will have more chances of winning.

And if we look at their batting score they have finished their first eight overs well. Where their run rate is 9.12 and at the same time they have lost only two wickets. Now it is to be seen whether they can maintain this consistency in the future. If they play like this, minimum 180 runs are possible and that I think will be a tough target for the other side in this match. But here are some more points that Quetta Gladiators' victory will depend on how Lahore Qalandars' bowlers perform. But for now, I won't take any chances from this match.
