Tilak Varma a young player for the Mumbai Indians also shone demonstrating the platform potential for up and coming athletes. Overall, the game was exciting and included some standout performances from both teams. The success of RCB is a result of their diligence, willpower, cooperation and they can be proud of what they have accomplished. RCB is well positioned to dominate the remainder of the season and keep their fans happy after such a solid start to the campaign.

Mumbai Indians reached good score of 171 runs. At some point it looked like Mumbai Indians won't reach 150 runs. Tilak Varma had a good innings and showed his ability. His 84*(46) was very important at that time as wickets kept falling. Siraj had good bowling spell and this target got easily chased by Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Chinaswami Stadium is a batting pitch, the boundaries are comparatively small and therefore 171 wasn’t enough for a team batting first to defend. We need to admit that Mumbai has choked at first. Ishan and Rohit are unable to deliver good performance as expected by their fans. Moreover fans were also surprised to see only 3 foreign players instead of 4 in playing 11. I was expecting Dewald Brevis in the squad, as he got capabilities. Still I was impressed by Tilak Verma’s batting. Nevertheless, Mumbai have always lost their first match from the past 10 years in the league. Definitely waiting for the new form from the MI team.

@Unknown Op it was refreshing to see to Kohli play like that, because he has received lot’s of criticism for his batting form and if he continues to perform like this then he can definitely take RCB to the semis at least. Furthermore I’m concerned about Rohit, he’s been absolutely poor while playing for team India and now in IPL too he’s struggling and if he doesn’t improve soon then his spot in the Indian team could be at risk.

It's second time in this IPL season where a team give a target of above 200 but when ever a team scored a target above 200 the opponent team lose it. I think same situation is happening here because the opponent team Lucknow super giant lose his 5th wicket, now the only hope from them are N.pooran. while the required runs is 65 on 27 balls, if pooran were on a crease hope they will win it but if he got dismissed then the defeat is confirmed..

Even with 217 target, had Mayers was still on crease for some more time, it would have been a win for LSG. During his play he brought required run rate close to 10 from 12 original. KL Rahul plays too slow for T20, imo he should be removed as an opener and someone hard-hitter should be given a chance to take advantage of powerplay.

CSK had not a good season in 2022 under the captaincy of Ravindra Jadeja. Now CSK captaincy is back to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and we will see results after 4 to 5 games. Till now CSK have played 2 matches, lost the opening match against Gujarat Titans but made a good come back against Lucknow Super Giants last night.
