If not for the no-ball from Sandeep Sharma, they could have won the match. 5 runs were needed from 1 ball, and Abdul Samad got out while trying to hit the ball for a boundary. But then third umpire declared the delivery as no-ball and Sunrisers Hyderabad got one more ball to chase the target. Samson's poor captaincy was the reason why RR lost yesterday. He dropped two of his best bowlers (Trent Boult and Adam Zampa) and then brought in Obed McCoy and Murugan Ashwin. These two conceded a total of 55 runs from their 4 overs.

Much to my dismay for Rajasthan Royals who needed 17 runs off the last six balls but the match was almost won by Rajasthan but Sandeep Sharma was overstepped in the 19.6th over when a no ball was called just as Abdul Samad hit a six to seal the win for Sunrise Hyderabad.  .

The turning point of the match for SRH was in the 19th over when the number 6 bowled a no ball. Sandeep Sharma is a very experienced bowler and when 17 runs were needed in the last over, the Rajasthan Royals skipper relied on the team's senior and experienced campaigner Sandeep Sharma. But he could not reciprocate the captain's trust. Everything was fine till ball number five.  
SRH batsmen managed to score 12 runs in the first five balls. 5 runs were required off the last ball which is very difficult for any batsman. But Sandeep Sharma came in at this crucial time of the match and sat noble and because of that no ball, Rajasthan Royals got knocked out of the match. For Rajasthan, qualifying for the playoffs became a much tougher equation.
