Now there is a chance for Kolkata Knight Riders who started very badly but recently they have come back strongly in this IPL. If KKR can win against Rajasthan Royals today, they will move to number three in the points table. And if Rajasthan Royals can win today's match, then Rajasthan Royals will move to number three in the points table, that is, there is no option for both of them to win in the fight for survival in IPL. 
After a good start to the IPL 2023 season, Rajasthan could not maintain their rhythm. But today they have to play with responsibility because today's match is very important.

If they win today's match, Kolkata have a chance to occupy third or fourth place in the table. They will not want to miss the opportunity.

The upcoming match between KKRvsRR is going to be a thrilling one, as both teams are in a similar position with only net run rate separating them. A must-win for both sides, because the winner will make top 4 at this crucial point of the tournament. RR started off strong, but they have failed to maintain their winning streak, while KKR have found their winning momentum and are looking more confident on their field. Though both have equal opportunities, but KKR have a slight upper hand against Rajasthan Royals based on their head-to-head record so far in IPL.

We all expected to enjoy a competitive match. But the match was completely one-sided. Kolkata's innings stopped at just 149 runs as a result of excellent bowling by Rajasthan's bowlers. Even then, if the Kolkata bowlers were able to bowl well, the match might have turned out to be competitive. But the performance of the Kolkata bowlers was very poor. Although the captain of Kolkata used 7 bowlers, they could not take any wickets. I was very disappointed with Kolkata's performance. I expected better performance from them.

A big comeback moment for Mumbai Indians team. None could've thought of it to happen. It was Suryakumar Yadav who came back to form and Mumbai Indians started its winning count. In the last five matches Suryakumar Yadav have scored 55(29), 66(31), 26(22), 83(35), 103*(49). Other than the match against CSK, he had maintained the 200+ strike rate and 200+ runs were so easy reached while chasing as well as while batting first. Agreed if someone have given support from the top order this could've been a win for Gujarat Titans. I watched the innings of Gujarat Titans at 55/5 and believed it to be an easy win. Finally seeing the result of Mumbai Indians winning just by 27 runs is really unexpected. Looking the performance of Rashid Khan in this match I remember one of the match against CSK in 2022 IPL where he change the match with 40 runs from 21 balls. In that match Tim David was in good form scoring 94 runs and Gujarat Titans wins chasing 169 runs with one ball remaining.

The points table is so messed up this time, there is no clear team to qualify for the playoffs and take the 3rd and 4th positions, apart from GT, no team has guaranteed to qualify for the playoffs and every single team has the opportunity to qualify except for DC which is clearly out of the race at this stage, so there is only DC which has no chance to qualify.

Even SRH, which has been in such a bad situation this season, has got 4 matches in hand so far and if they manage to win 3 out of them or all of them, they can also qualify for the playoffs, and they are 2nd last in the points table. It's clearly so messed up and the remaining matches are going to be more exciting due to that.
