Mumbai batting is just too strong. Even if the top 2-3 batsmen get out quickly, they have another 3-4 T20 specialists in the middle order who can easily chase 200+ totals. And yesterday apart from Nathan Ellis (who was included as an impact sub), none of the Punjab bowlers could perform well. Sam Curran had figures of 3-0-41-0. Arshdeep Singh was even worse, as he went for 3.5-0-66-1. The captain chose not to bowl Rahul Chahar and Harpreet Brar in the depth overs, else they could have got the stick as well. It was a sub-par performance from the Punjab bowlers.

From the start of the innings, the performance of the Mumbai batsmen was very good. Mumbai's collection was 91 runs in 10 overs. But in the next 5 overs, Mumbai collected around 79 runs. And in these 5 overs, the match was completely controlled by the Mumbai batsmen. I think the Mumbai Indians team will be able to qualify for the knockout round.

Kolkata Knight Riders will play against Sunrisers Hyderabad in today's only match. This match is very important for both teams. Kolkata won only 3 out of 9 matches. Hyderabad on the other hand have won 3 out of 8 matches. And so if these two teams want to continue the fight to qualify for the knockout round, they need to win today's match.

My favorite Hyderabad team in this match. I don't think the Kolkata squad is very strong. Although there are several T20 specialist players in the squad, the team players are not in good form. This is why Kolkata's performance is weak. But I would say if the Kolkata bowlers perform well, they have a chance to win.

A quick 116 runs partnership (in just 9.5 overs) were enough for the Mumbai for winning this match and have their hopes alive for the top four with both done good damage in this big scoring match Arshdeep Singh and Sam Curran both were main bowlers for the Punjab and main victims of both aggressive batsmen which change the momentum of this match very quickly and shock the IPL followers as well.

First we have good aggressive batting from Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma both punish badly to Jofra Archer, Arshad Khan and Akash Madhwal and score 119 runs in just 8.4 overs, but then we have best reply from Mumbai, and they achieved this target as 7 balls were still remaining hopefully now we will have more matches like this in coming days.
