I didn't underestimated CSK, most who watched the batting of RCB could've had the same feelings of mine.

Yes, with the scoring in much faster manner this is all unexpected. RCB reached 100 runs in 50 balls, and 150 runs in 80 balls. Further the team missed the momentum as the wickets of du Plessis and Maxwell fell. Even after that Dinesh Karthik made his contribution. Somehow this is the Dhoni's luck that brought him the win.

You can love or hate Mahendra Singh Dhoni. But you can't deny the fact that he is the best captain out of all during this season of the Indian Premier League. It was his tactics which brought the victory to Chennai Super Kings. And trust me, it was not an easy task to defend the target against star batsmen such as Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell. They are some of the best in T20 format. And on the other hand, CSK had some inexperienced bowlers, in the form of Akash Singh, Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana. Without MSD, they would have lost the match yesterday.

Chennai Super Kings tried to fend off Royal Challengers Bangalore by building a big total in the 24th match and they were successful. Conway, Shivam Dube and Ajinkya Rahane's brilliant batting helped Chennai Super Kings set a target of 226 runs. On the contrary Royal Challengers Bangalore were also playing well but they lost the match by a narrow margin of runs. Every ball was important as the target was big with Shahbaz Ahmed scoring 12 runs off 10 balls and Wayne Parnell scoring just 2 runs off 5 balls. I think if these two could have improved a bit more Royal Challengers Bangalore would have been able to win the match.

You are forgetting M. Lormor, duck for 5 balls. RCB is heavily dependent on few of their star players.

The match has been won by Chennai super kings and all credit does to him. Even though Royal Challengers Bangalore were scoring runs at a rapid pace and at one time it seems that they might achieve this target with one or two overs to spare but Chennai super kings captain kept his cool and eventually his team won this very interesting thrilling match.

Dhoni has already contributed with his bat. He made 32 from 17 balls against the Rajasthan Royals, which almost enabled Chennai Super Kings to win that match (they lost by a whisker). And Dhoni is not in the team as a specialist batsman. He is the wicket-keeper and captain and in both the roles he has given a splendid performance so far. And since he is batting at no.8, I don't think that a lot is expected from him. Batting responsibility lies with those who are higher up in the order, especially Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane and Shivam Dube.

The way Royal Challengers were playing against Chennai Super Kings, they had a chance to win but in such circumstances every ball mattered and Royal Challengers Bangalore went towards the end. A few wickets here would have changed the outcome of the match. Again if the 7th and 8th no. players had been able to increase their strike rates they would have easily won the match. The game was excellent for both of the team. I don't want to blame anyone for the performance of the last match. It can be said that luck was not in favor of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

@John Abraham it was an entertaining match, and on pitches like these the bowler's can’t do much hence no point in faulting them because they did try their best but it just wasn’t enough. Also I felt that RCB could go on to win it, but in the end they felt short by just 8 runs however I’m not upset because as a fan I got all the entertainment that I had wished for.

For me Mahendra Singh Dhoni is GOAT of Indian cricket while he was playing for India his achievements are amazing with CSK is surely having one of the best captain ever and in near future we have no player with mindset like this in Indian cricket even now he is 40+ but still doing amazing job as captain and as batsman which is helping CSK for having good results just because of him now they are at 3rd spot in IPL league table which is not easy in presence of few toughest teams with quality players.

As they won last game now I am turning my views about them as top four spot is possible because they can handle pressure and this is important for the win in these matches, and they can bring positive results.

Also I felt that RCB could go on to win it, but in the end they felt short by just 8 runs however I'm not upset because as a fan I got all the entertainment that I had wished for.

Yeah, That's what I was talking about. You can't do much as a bowler on such Batting friendly pitch. So, You shouldn't blame bowlers for not performing well. IPL Pitches are made batting-friendly to attract crowds so they can enjoy high-scoring matches. Chennai Super Kings scores 53 runs from the first six overs and loses one wicket. But Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 75 Runs by losing two wickets in the first Six Overs. It was looking good for them.

Royal Challengers Bangalore could chase this runs easily if one of them (faf du plessis or Maxwell) were able to stuck around. Wayne Parnell wasted five balls which was enough for RCB to hit two boundaries to win the match. Anyways, Good luck to them. I hope they will come back stronger.

Due to the responsible batting of Cameron Green and Tilak, the Mumbai team managed to collect 192 runs. Cameron Green was able to collect 64 runs off 40 balls and Tilak was able to collect 37 runs off 17 balls. I would say 192 runs is a very good total. Mumbai bowlers will win this match if they are able to bowl under control. However, Hyderabad's batting line-up is strong. Harry brooks are in good form. Also, Marakram and Abhisekh are capable of playing big innings. If Mumbai wants to win today's match, the wickets of these three batsmen must be taken quickly. If these three batsmen are able to play well, it will be difficult for Mumbai to win today's match.

Well, even though the Mumbai Indians went on a very slow run rate in the middle overs, they still end up 192 runs at the end of 20 overs. Ishan Kishan and Cameron Green give them a good start while at the depth  Tilak Varma scored 37 runs in only 17 balls which helped  Mumbai Indians reached a very good score.

From Sunrisers Hyderabad  Marco Jansen took 2 wickets but there were none of the bowlers who could seem to be devastating for Hyderabad.

Although he bowled 4 overs, he picked up only one wicket. But he gave only 29 runs in 4 overs. I don't like the performance of any batsman except Heinrich of Hyderabad. Agarwal was able to collect 48 runs but his strike rate was only 117. Heinrich played an excellent inning of 36 runs off just 16 balls. Despite winning the last two matches, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost badly against Mumbai.

It was always difficult for them to chase this score against the bowling of Mumbai Indians and also the pressure of chasing overcome their batting ability.
