I don't blame reckless people who leave gambling addicts to their own fate since it was their own fault losing life savings on casino. That is normal,everything is normal when a gambler addiction arrives at a madness level,we have heard of suicides happening because they think life has no meaning,sometimes which is the worse I have heard so far they have given their wife to someone else and this is truly the worse possible thing that gambling addiction can make a person do.

Most of the time that's the feeling once you are already engaged with gambling, thinking that it's okay and still in your budget so they will just continue to the point that they already doing something that will really hurt their finances, but inside their mind there's nothing wrong and they can win it back as long as they have the funds to support their gambling activities.

It's because there is still illegal gambling that is happening underground. This cannot be stopped by any government, just give them a room and some playing and they can start gambling their way with their own rules. I think the best way would always be just to regulate it so that the government would see what is happening or who is prone to addiction. Plus, they can put tax in it for the better of the people.
Denying their hobby will just lead to a more difficult way to trace them and they will keep on doing it until they cannot control it anymore.

Professional help is really needed by gambling addicts because intervention of professionals can greatly help them recover from their bad gambling habits since it is composed of different treatments customized for the patient's need such as the counselling, the medications, and the process of treatment itself. There's no shortcut in treating addiction. If one really like to abandon his old gambling ways, one must be willing to undergo the whole process because otherwise, relapse will happen and you'll end up in circles instead of getting healed.

Support from loved ones is essential when a person is undergoing rehabilitation. I'm not really surprised because I've seen it myself. I have an uncle who often drinks and has often been given advice by other uncles and his friends, but he still drinks frequently and even gets out of control. It's not surprising to me that people with addictions can't take advice from others, even if it's valuable advice to them.

So, in this case, a gambling addict must have the awareness to cure his addiction, and with the support of his family, he can cure his addiction. Anything to excess will destroy you in the end whatever positive it appears in a moment.   A person could be totally peaceful just constantly eating candy bars and they will maybe end up dead that way if they cannot control the constant urge to eat unhealthily.
   A person who drank coke, nothing added just fizzy pop ended up dead thats because caffeine in the very extremes can cause death and it is a drug.  She drank from the moment of waking and 2 litre bottles to herself all day, the caffeine causes heart irregularity which means a medical team to restart the heart was required at one point and she did not make it to the hospital and died.
  The excess of almost anything must be seen as a vice and yes always be careful with money, reduce your bets to relearn a game if its not going your way.   The luck of winning a game should be a thrill not just money.
