It's true that I'm sure of that, if you take everything into account from the start when they first became acquainted with gambling, there's definitely not a small amount of money they've lost because of gambling, and even if they win, I don't think it can cover all the losses that have occurred. It feels like a big win is almost impossible to get, because it's very rare for me to hear of anyone getting a win that is so big that it can change their life drastically, from poor to billionaire for example. Even in my country I haven't found any news about it, which is certain that many people have experienced bad effects because of gambling, such as financial losses and their lives being ruined.

When it comes to gambling addiction,  there is no limit to how far one can go and that is the reason you see some gambling addicts going as far as taking loan just to gamble with and with the hope that they will win and there after recover.

Addiction is a high pressure thing that put the gambler on the higher risk of wanting to earn more by risking all, this is why we always preach that gamblers should take gambli6as an entertaining and fun and not with the aim to hit a jackpot or trying make money off it at any time, because trying to do so you may be putting your money at risk and also making you to become addicted to gambling.

Indeed, there are no restrictions on gambling because it depends on us ourselves who gamble, but in my opinion, having limits on gambling is a must. because having these limits will help reduce or prevent major losses. Loan as we all know is mostly taken by people who are trying to invest in their different business endeavors and not to use them for gambling but when a gambler is addicted to gambling, taking loan from any financial institution just to fund their gambling activities won't be a big issue for him.
Most times gambling addict takes this decisions unconsciously and can't just help themselves. Yeah that is right, most good decisions are tough decision, that will directly impact our way lf life and how we tend to enjoy our freedom, this is quite essential for the well being of any human and it not in gambling alone but other aspects of life, one need to be very decipline in approach to things, so for anyone to stay above possible addiction there is need for high decipline and dedication to following lay down laws to achieve the majority goals.
Most of those that have become gambling all trun out so because of they inability to have a draw line when the turn back or be able to control their emotions, for sure we must not rely so much on our own ability to control our gambling activities,  because man without law is free to abuse the freedom which will lead to addictions of any form.

There's this friend of mine who was into gambling. This guy was introduced to betting and got addicted to it for years, and at this level he has gone into virtual games. At some point, he could use all his money, borrow from others, and even use the one given to him by someone for important stuff. This went a long way for him, and his life was becoming miserable as time went on. But with the help of some punishment , self discipline and prayers, he was able to reduce it. And today he doesn't do virtual games. In all this, I noticed that there's this confidence he has that he will hit it big, if not today but one big day, and he will stop it with the money he will hit.
My question was, When is this big day? Yes, you might be lucky one day, but when is that? Is there a guarantee for it? How long will you continue to do this for the big day? It's better to stop today than regret it.

This one day I will hit it big is what really inspires most of them to go into gambling more and more, even when they have not been winning. They still keep on gambling with the hope that one day, if they win, they will be able to recover all that they have spent on gambling.
 
But one thing about this is that if they calculate all the money they have spent since the very first day they started gambling, they will notice that what they won from that one bet they might claim is big is just a small percentage of what they have spent in the past.

Well, lets not pretend, beat about the bush, but be totally honest with ourselves, our lucks are not the same, and there are definitely alot of gamblers out there who did actually got so lucky and this dream of theirs was actuallised in just a single winning, when we actually say stuffs just exactly the way you said it, without acknowledging the fact that the experience is not always the same for all gamblers, it turns out that what we are doing is passing or misinforming people.

Gambling have always been a game of luck, and those who are lucky will always shine, I know of a person who have actually spent years in gambling, and I can't also deny the fact that he has also possibly spent alot of money as well, but then, he won a bet last year, ans amount was above a hundred thousand dollars, converting this money to our local currency, it's a very huge sum, and I to be honest, I don't think that in all his years of gambling, he has spend up to 3 percent of the money he won.
Gambling be a source of blessing and breakthrough for people, and continual gambling without giving can sure sometimes pay off, but only if the gambler is lucky.
