LOL.. do you really believe that they will be able to defeat France? I also want Australia to advance to the semis, since they are an Asian team. But winning against France is going to be a very tough task. France is currently in great form, and in the group phase they managed to defeat both Brazil and Panama (also scored a draw against Jamaica). During the PQF, they destroyed Morocco. But then, Australia will be having the advantage of tens of thousands of fans cheering for them, and I really hope that it will make a difference for them.

And I bet on France but both teams worked hard and the game turned out to be a draw. France attacked very well but Australia's goalkeeper was very experienced and did not allow the ball to enter the post. And the defenders of both the teams are very strong due to which neither team could succeed in attacking. Let me give you a summary of it because it has already ended. In the first half, we saw several close chances for both teams, but the goalkeepers and tenacious defenses held their ground. Australia looked to press high and create opportunities, while France relied on their technical prowess and intricate passing to penetrate the Australian defense. Extra time and penalties it was! As I earlier anticipated, it was a really interesting game and match-up. France has my respect despite being eliminated from the tournament. They became my favorite team after Nigeria was eliminated and I didn't regret that choice. However, I'm now backing Australia for the title. I'm impressed so far with the team - Arnold solid at the back, Fowler very skillful whenever on the ball, Kerr dangerous every time she goes forward. Overall, it was a very solid game.

The mens team plays at the Asian Football Confederation, even though Australia is of course in Oceania. They always ended up first in Oceania so they moved them to AFC where it would be a bit more competitive.

It was a beautiful victory for Sweden to qualified for semi-finals, because their manager really prove to people how prepare they prepared to win this FIFA women's world cup in this season because they were able to lead the match with 1-0 in the first half that gave them high moral to withstand Japan. Sweden defeated Japan at the end of the match 2-1 to locked them out from the tournament which is a sign Sweden will cross to final in their next match, because their opponent don't have the strength to defeat them in semi finals. The reason why Japan lost the match is because their coach didn't use the right players in the first half that made Sweden strikers to created more opportunities to achieved the two goals from the match.

They tried their best, but a defensive mistake ruined their strong efforts. In the next round, England will go up against the hosts, Australia, to compete for a spot in the final. I managed to get the qualifiers right, which were England, Australia and Spain, but I missed the Japan vs Sweden match in which I thought Japan could win because they were doing a great campaign, but Sweden is very strong, eliminated the USA and now Japan
A final between Sweden and England is very likely, but I will still analyze the matches better to see if these will be my bets

I never expected them to get to this stage, it is a good job that they have been able to get this far. Now they will face England in Semi-Finals to determine if they get to the finals. England has had very tough games, From Nigeria to Columbia, they will be the favorites in that game too, but they cannot underestimate the Australians that were able to keep the French team from scoring. Predicting the teams that will get to the finals, it is looking like England and Spain. For England, It will be historic if they can win this world cup after their Euros triumph.

Australia was part of the OFC but due to lack of competition and quality they switch from there into AFC in 2006 and right now they are part of the three groups like AFC, OFC and AFF, but they are mostly playing with only AFC and AFF because this is giving them good advantage for the increasing into quality and performance of their leagues and national team as well recently they are doing impressive job in men and women both teams as both are part of the AFC and playing their all events with having good record and also good increase of quality and performance in their teams now they are having spot into last four teams of this mega event and going to face teams from England vs Columbia for the final spot of this event.
