I feel sad about Manchester United who seems to be this season they have no chance to get out of the CL group stage this season. They have suffered two defeats on two game occasions. This is very far from the expectations of most people, on a Manchester United paper, it is able to play more impressively and get an easy victory in Group A, the only one that is the toughest opponent is Bayern Munich, but the fact is Manchester United are also defeated by Galastasaray.

Furthermore, Manchester United will fight Copenhagen who is a representative of the Denmark League Super, if Manchester United can be held or defeated by Copenhagen it will not be easy for Manchester United in the future, Ten Hag and his team experience so severe decline for the beginning of the season.

I didn't expect Galatasaray to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford, Manchester United had a bit of a bad run of form recently but this was a Champions League game and it's never easy to beat Manchester United in front of 75,000 people at Old Trafford but Galatasaray did the hard thing with a great game and surprised everyone. If Manchester United get 6 points from the two games against Copenhang and 3 points against Galatasaray in Istanbul they will have 9 points and can get out of this group, but they will have to go through hell in front of Galatasaray's passionate fans in Istanbul.

There are still 4 more matches that can change their position in the standings table. However, it was quite difficult for them because the mentality of Manchester United players in the Champions League was really not good because the two defeats they experienced would make them even more depressed in every match. Galatasaray will take advantage of the situation that occurred with Manchester United because if they succeed in maintaining consistency in the upcoming matches, there is a big chance that Galatasaray will be more favorites to qualify for the round of 16.

Manchester United were defeated by Galatasaray in the previous match. And indeed, if you look at the statistics, Manchester United's performance in that match was really not good, especially since their defensive line was quite weak, making it easier for their opponents to beat them. By the end of the second round in this group stage of Champions League, there is only four teams that got 6 points: Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid. These teams are serious contenders for the title this year especially Manchester City then comes the others.

These are not the best circumstances under which Manchester United is trying to regain momentum and establish the club at the top of European football. But it would still be in the owners' interest that Manchester United does not fail in the Champions League group stage. I am curious if something will be done in the next few weeks if ten Hag can't win the first points here.

If you were consistently watching manchester united's gameplay and you would be aware if manchester united has been playing so badly in the previous match. Many people were picking MU but i have picked btts caused by MU was performing too inconsistent this season.
It was winning the game against palace but it's losing the game once united was playing at home. The same thing is just happening with galatasaray caused by manchester united was missing opportunity to get full points from there.
It was making manchester being placed at the bottom place with no points collected by the club so far. MU played horrible game. It has also worst defenders in EPL in comparison with some strong clubs.

I know that whatever we discuss here may not be in line with Ten Hag's ideas, especially in formulating a game plan in a match. Technically Ten Hag has done his best so that his team can get into good form, but it hasn't worked for Manchester United. Marcus Rashford's performance was completely beyond expectations, I mean he is a player who has had a big downfall earlier this season. Marcus Rashford only scored 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 appearances in the Premier League, while he scored 17 goals and 5 assists last season in 35 appearances. He is clearly a problem at the moment, but the support and trust for him must remain despite Rashford appearing selfish.

I agree with you about the change in Rashford's performance compared to last season. There is a huge difference there. Rashford was way more a team player last season and this was reflecting onto his performance as well. However right now he has returned to being a selfish player again generally. He is having big difficulties in scoring goals too.

Actually he could have made one of his teammates score a goal against Galatasaray after that pass if Sacha Boey didn't intervene. However this is one of the rare examples of team play for Rashford I have seen in this season so far. He is a young player though so I think he would be more consistent in time.

I hope ten hag will kick rasford from the starting line up. Having rashford was only destroy the game play of manchester united with his selfishness. MU was not really need someone who was playing alone without even caring with his team mate.

this bad situation experienced has often been discussed in several places and we should be able to see which parts have bad performance and for the midfield I think there is no problem or maybe there are just a few midfield players who are less than optimal but quite good and for the defense line which I think is still very bad (except goalkeeper) I say this because I always watch Man United matches so I can see the overall bad performance but indeed everyone has a different opinion.

To be fair losing to Bayern was already expected, so getting zero points there wasn't really shocking, I am sure even United fans must be fine with that game, they were expected to be bad, and they fought hard and got 4-3 loss, that's good enough.

The only game at UCL so far that disappointed fans must be the second one against Galatasaray, and yes that's disappointing I agree but it is just one game. If they are thinking about firing ETH then I think it should be based on the league performance, they have been terrible and not doing fine at all, I am not entirely sure if it would continue to make sense if they keep him and they keep losing, I am sure that United will do just fine at UCL, not like they can win it anyway, so the only hope they have would be getting a good result at league and so far they haven't done that neither.

Of course, the second defeat against Galasataray made Manchester United's condition look very bad, even though it was not completely like that, the situation on the field could be very different from the score shown. I actually think opposite with you. I suppose that the issue with Manchester United lies more in the midfield. There have been too many poor passes, and the lack of midfield interception ability puts a lot of pressure on the defense.

Manchester United have signed André Onana this season to solve their goalkeeper problem. André Onana is a good goalkeeper and will contribute well for Manchester United if given a quality defender. André Onana's performance was poor due to simple mistakes by the defenders.

Every thing about Manchester united right now should be focused on Ten Hag, whether it's the defense that's porous, the goalkeeper that is weak or the midfielders not supplying and standardizing the ball or the strikers not being on their feets to score goals. Players like Sancho also need to be back on the pitch and be ready to make goals. It's not s rocket science thing. It's a strategy. Goals are conceived through strategies and teamwork. Yes, I agree with what you said, Manchester United this season played less than optimal and even worse than in previous seasons, I don't know what made Manchester United like this, but some players did play less than optimal, especially with the current goalkeeper, Onana, who played less than optimal and conceded a lot, with the presence of Andre Onana guarding the Manchester United goal, a total of 18 goals have been conceded, with 11 of them created in the Premier League, even the Red Devils have also recorded four defeats, namely from Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Crystal Palace. The results made them stranded to 10th place in the English league, of course this is not a good order.
