I have had a look and I couldn't believe that the bookmakers seem to have big faith in Arsenal and valued them as the real favorite. To give you an idea, they put Arsenal at 1.99, so let's say at 2.0, and they put Bayern Munich at 3.59.

I agree that the odds for Bayern Munich winning this game should be relatively high as it is a game away from home and it is against the team that is leading the Premier League. But given how the game developed recently for Bayern, do you think that Arsenal winning the game at 1.99 is correctly marked by the bookmakers? Even if it is marginal, it is a bit below 2.0 and I did expect something with a 2. coming first.

I don't think that Arsenal's chances of winning that game are that high. At least I wouldn't bet on it at those odds. I think it is always a good indicator to think about potential odds that someone would be willing to put money on an outcome and for me this would be more between 2.5 and 3.0, but it would definitely not be worth it when you get just under 2.0.

Because Arsenal has a 100% winning record when they play at home this season (Champions Legue).
And the last time they lost at home in Europe competition was in March 2021 (Europa League).

Therefore, with the odds 1.99x (and it looks normal for me) Arsenal is the favorite in this first leg because they will definitely try to score as many goals as possible against Bayern.

The Man City vs Real Madrid match may be difficult to predict. .

The tie is difficult to predict but we can make accurate speculations. Take a look at few of my observations.

I personally can't put City as favorites to win back 2 back UCL as this is something that rarely happens in this competition. City has a great team but also fights for EPL title which might be an important factor in UCL and Real Madrid is the best team that knows how to speculate games like this and won't be surprised to see Real qualifying further but on the same time I can't see them winning the trophy either.

I will stick with my theory that whoever eliminated Porto in the last years , ended up winning UCL so this year , Arsenal should be one. 

Arsenal does have a chance of becoming champions and Manchester City is also the same, but you should know that these two Premier League representatives have quite strong opponents in the quarter-finals where Arsenal will face Bayern Munich and Manchester City will face Real Madrid. Again Arsenal are in strong contention to win the English Premier League title this season which I think will make their players to suffer fatigue as the season gets to the final weeks

Its okay to talk about big teams like Real Madrid, Manchester City, and others. Regulars in the Champions League, I get it. You know everything about history, money, and everything else. Realistically, though, Arsenal isnt a joke. They're in the running for the Champions League and are currently leading the Premier League, which is one of the toughest leagues in the world. You guys should take note of that. Maybe they havent played the big games before, but I've built an empire that defies assumptions. Do not forget how powerful motion can be.

I really wouldnt mind if Arsenal managed to pull this off. It is now their turn. They should have a chance to win the big prize, and they are good enough to do it. Thats true, the Premier League fight does add pressure, which is both good and bad. The smart Arteta has put together a strong team. Thats the fun of football: losers always win. So I would just say that Arsenal should focus more on there premier League matches so that there attention will not be divided.

Gunners performance have not pleased me because they're just consistent for a season and the next season, they're no where to be found. Mikel Arteta and his team should be enlisted to be among the club's to reach significant UCL finals. The UEFA Champions League is not even consider the league.

I also have general doubts about Arsenals ability to win the UCL given their past performances and struggles in the competition. In this season, we have completely different level of quality from the many teams which is surely not surprising because this is part of the game specially while teams are having transition period which is usually happened regularly currently we have all teams in different level performance and things can go either way we can't give favourite tag to any team even we all know Manchester City is currently at his best because Real Madrid is also impressive and things can go into their favour as well De Bruyne is big player, but Jude Bellingham is also having impressive season which can give them good success into this season with many top players are also giving him good back up which is best of the Carlos Ancelotti upsets are surprising performance is also part of the Champions League.

The match between Manchester city and Real Madrid is really an unpredictable game to me ,both teams are in their current forms, and when considering the strength of the team, the quality of players in there and the category of managers involved in the team too, they are both experienced coaches when it comes to the Champions league competition ,Therefore, to me, this game is a matter of who utilizes their opportunity well will become victors in that game.

The game would be a tough one, that’s for sure. It would be quite difficult to predict correctly a possible outcome as both teams are champions in their respective leagues.
Personally, I would be rooting for Man City to win the game and I think they’ve got what it takes to win but Real Madrid isn’t a small team that could be walked over either and they’ve got a good record playing in the championship league.
Also, Real Madrid has a knack for winning important and deciding games like these. Like you noted, It all comes down to whoever can utilize their skills and opportunities to score more goals.

But, if I consider or relate about their position in the respective league standings, then at least Manchester City is still in a very difficult situation in the title race in the Premier League standings. But about Real Madrid, at least Real Madrid has been fairly safe in the La Liga standings and therefore, then at least Real Madrid will really be able to maximize to play with great effort in the Champions League quarter-final match against Manchester City. Although, I also realize that of course Manchester City will also put all their efforts in this match against Real Madrid but at least, Manchester City still has to divide their focus also for the difficult competition in the Premier League. With such considerations, it seems likely that Real Madrid will get a better chance than Manchester City in this match.

I think this is the hardest match to predict in the Quarter Finals of UEFA Champions League this season. Both the teams are in great form. But Erling Haaland seems to be struggling right now against the big teams. So I believe if Real Madrid can shut him down, then they can win. Bellingham is going under injury and is expected to be back before their match against Manchester City, so if he can be fit, he would be the key player of Real Madrid.
