It is indeed hard to get a decent player after now. Beşiktaş made such a transfer. They had a deal with 39 years old Gökhan İnler for one year. Fenerbahce and Besiktas have the same odds for winning the Conference League title now. They are both given the odds of 26.00. There are at least a few more teams which are more favourite than them. I'm not sure about Besiktas but I see Fenerbahce among the serious candidates to win this title.

They have built a really great squad by their recent transfers. Their performance in the qualifiers was really decent also. They need to maintain this level to increase their chance.

I do not personally know what type of financial issues or what the president said to be fair, I follow Turkish league only from online and not really see what the news says about clubs. But I knew even before this year that there were 3 big clubs there, and lately they were bad, however looking at the teams, yes Fenerbahce and Galatasaray made some huge transfers, and yet Besiktas seems like they spent some good chunk of money too?

Spending about 20 million on just transfer fees and on top of that god knows how much more on the player salaries means that there was some money to be spent and they did that which makes sense in a way because they need to end up being good enough to catch up to other clubs for a chance to win anything.
