The thing is, technically speaking Man City is third, that is what the standings are showing literally right now, and yet people still think that Man City has the highest chance to win. That should be good enough to provide you how strong they are. There are two other teams top of them and both of those teams are great teams and yet we are talking about something that is still quite different in many ways. I believe that the best thing to do in this case would be just focusing on what to do.

I believe that we are going to do fine with Liverpool but Arsenal may actually lose out. Liverpool is not an easy piece and Man City knows this very well, if you ask them how much chance they have, they would say a number less than what people think of them.

Bookmakers still continued to favour Manchester City the most for the title but it looks like they have dropped them to the second place now.

Because the current odds: Liverpool - 2.10  Manchester City - 2.75  Arsenal - 3.25

Arsenal are still shown as the least favourite which I'm not surprised of. The last time they won the title was 20 years ago in the end. I agree about Liverpool. There have been really great title challenges between them and Manchester City so far. Honestly I would like Liverpool to be victorious at the end. Klopp also deserves that before leaving.

From what I remember last year they were in a similar situation being behind Arsenal with atleast the same amount of matches left to play in the season. Yet they came out on top despite Arsenal's form which deteriorated in the later stages giving them their triple crown.

Coming away with a goal-less draw against them over the weekend didn't help their spot below both leaders of the table either.

I have watched this team develop in the last couple of seasons, they have become a team worthy of being considered serious title contenders for any tournament they are in. I think Arsenal would have won the EPL last season if Manchester City were not such a dominant team. They will not want to disappoint their fans this time around.

It is very natural that a lot of praise is given to the coach who brought the club to develop better than before and that is what has happened to Arsenal in the last few seasons. Mikel Arteta has coached Arsenal for 5 years and it all takes a long process. Mikel Arteta has done it with well and in the last two seasons Arsenal was able to challenge for the title in the Premier League because they were in the top ranking together with Manchester City they competed strongly even though Arsenal had to lose balance at the end and finally made Manchester City win the title again and this season Mikel Arteta will do Arsenal better from the previous season and did not let Manchester City win the title again.

Being able to hold Manchester City to a draw was enough for Arsenal to prevent Manchester City from going any further by occupying the top of the standings, even though he had to lose his place because he had to be moved again by Liverpool. I'm sure Arsenal will continue to try until the end of the season because Mikel Arteta and other coaches such as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Kloop will also do the same thing to get this title, who knows who will succeed in getting it, we'll see at the end of the season.

In terms of the remaining matches of the three teams, Mancity has the most advantage. They only have 1 difficult match left against Tottenham. Liverpool's schedule is quite difficult as they have to meet Man Utd and Tottenham. Both Man Utd and Tottenham are still in the race to qualify for the UCL next season so they will play very determined. Among the three teams racing for the championship, perhaps Arsenal is the team facing the most difficulties in terms of schedule. In the remaining 9 matches, they must meet Chelsea, Tottenham and Man Utd. These are all strong teams in the Big Six and it is not easy for Arsenal to win all 3 points. In addition, Arsenal and Mancity still have matches in the UCL, so a lack of force or being exhausted can easily affect the results in the final matches of the Premier League.

Arsenal just has to win this one, they’ve come way too far to not have this title. From being the average team we knew them to be that is always looking up to the FA cup for a trophy and Europa for an international league qualification to a title contender and a strong UCL side. Of course I’ll like to see their efforts pay off but,

It’s really up to Spurs to decide. Spurs would be crowning the league champions this season with their lose or win. Arsenal already ensured they don’t lose their advantage to Manchester City and set the pace for number of goals, playing better football at the end of the season, that’s so not their style last season and they could win this for real.

Last season we saw Arsenal as the only team to compete with Manchester City in the final to win the English Premier League title. Other teams including Liverpool and Manchester United could not compete with Manchester City at all last season. Arsenal finished their league in second place last season but this season the team is still doing well and their performances have been quite consistent. Although last season's Liverpool are doing great this season, the English Premier League competition may be between Manchester City Liverpool and Arsenal with Liverpool and Manchester City more likely to be ahead. There is no doubt that Arsenal will win the Premier League title in any season if Manchester City is uncontinued.

Yea, I agree with you. Manchester city have drawn two of their last matches dropping 4 points, and if it happens that they draw Aston Villa, being to the title race would become hard for them. This is because Liverpool and Arsenal will win their next matches, increasing the point gap, making it difficult to City to win the league, if all matches are won.

All three teams are on the hot seat of maintaining their consistency, which would lead to the victory of any team that can do that. Liverpool is on the lead, if they can be able to hold on the first position till the end of the season, it will be the best for them.

Tottenham wasted an unbelievable opportunity by getting a draw yesterday.    By saying opportunity I mean Aston Villa have an away game against Manchester City tonight. I don't expect them to steal any point from Manchester City honestly. If Tottenham won they would equalize the points in this situation but the chance is gone this time.

Tottenham still have a missing game to play though. The top four fight between Tottenham and Aston Villa is really fierce and Tottenham had better make use of that missing game. Both of them are going to play against title contenders in the rest of the season so the top four competition will also be nice to watch.

Yes, it's a shame that Tottenham couldn't take advantage of the opportunity to get 3 points against West Ham and only got 1 point because it ended in a 1-1 draw. Indeed, Tottenham dominated throughout the match, but it must be admitted that West Han's defense was very strong and defense was their choice so they still got points even though they only got 1 point.

I must say totenham was lucky enough in this match. The clubs have been performing quite well but ange once again forced his club to play high line defensive which is so stupid. IDK why antonio performed so pathetic in that game. The moment when antonia was missing the ball from the corner kick and when he was one on one against the goal keeper were disappointed moments for all of westham fast. The main weakness from totenham once it was facing a defensive club like westham whch was also playing low block. Westham recorded very bad possession against totenham  but it has been successfully helping united to cut the gap.
The gap between MU and totenham is getting even lower. I hope that this momentum will still continue soon.

True but aston villa was widening the game since it was able winning in the last game. So, the chance for manchester united and totenham to get the last spot for UCL is not there. The gap is too big considering the remaining matches are getting fewer too.
This shall become the main problem owned by ten hag, united may be firing him if he will not able to give good result at the end of season. It seems to me totenham and untied have chances to get into the europa league next season.
The chance to qualify for UCL is almost zero for totenham and united. These clubs must be only competing for the europa league spot.

Yeah I agree with you, if you check the fixture, the matches which I think will be giving Manchester City difficult moment among the matches left is their match between Aston villa, and Tottenham. and am sure they will try their possible best to win the match, other matches left shouldn’t be that kind of difficult for Manchester city, so I will say Manchester City shouldn’t lose hope yet, they just have to do everything possible to win all the matches they are having left.

But even if Liverpool and Arsenal lose 3 points, they are still on track to become Premier League champions with a difference of only 1 and 2 points with City.

Well these 3 teams will still remain in contention for the league and maybe in next 2-3 gameweek, we might have one team drop form the race.

This is indeed a pretty good opportunity for Tottenham, at least if they win against West Ham they will have the same points as Aston Villa. It's just that if you look at the course of the match, even though Tottenham dominated the match but it was West Ham who had more good opportunities than Tottenham. What I saw was that West Ham had 2 opportunities which could have been goals if only Guglielmo Vicario had not made a brilliant save.

I think Manchester City performance in those two matches involving their biggest rivals this season was not too bad as they played very well even though they were unable to take all the three points and the game ended in a draw, coming to their match today against Aston Villa I think playing at home the game may be tough but they have got the advantage and more quality players and a better team all together to beat an informed team like Aston Villa. Despite the result Manchester City has recorded in the last few matches they have good history against Villa and considering the situation of brings in the league it will be a big disaster for Manchester City if they fail to win Aston Villa in their home ground and they will give Liverpool and Arsenal more advantage to extend their gap difference over them since they already topping City with 3 points for Liverpool and 1 point for Arsenal. If City is able to win tonight and Arsenal fails to win Luton, City will go back to first place, Arsenal third and Liverpool second till the outcome of their next game against Manchester United I guess.

Last season Haaland performed brilliantly in the league and in all competitions. This season he doesn't have the same performance. Also, Kevin De Bruyne has played some good games since returning from injury but he hasn't fully taken control of the helm. We also have to open a parenthesis for Mateo Kovačić. He's also a player of great quality, but he hasn't been as creative as Ilkay Gundogan, who played in that position last season. In short, Manchester City are not the same team and do not have the same momentum as Manchester City at the end of last season.

Yesterday's draw against Arsenal was certainly not satisfactory, therefore today's match against Aston Villa is a determining factor for Manchester City to catch up on points with Arsenal and Liverpool, even though Manchester City's opponent is a little complicated, of course it will not be an easy opponent, especially if Aston Villa makes things difficult. just like Arsenal yesterday, of course Manchester City will lose points again and cause them to experience failure in the EPL title race this season, even though we also know that currently Manchester City still has a chance to win the UCL title this season apart from the EPL.
