This win was so important that a loss here could have been crazy and not acceptable.Well getting back to winning ways gives them this sort of hope and boost in their already fainting top 4 hopes. They’re now sitting pretty in 6th position and are very confident that they can still make top 4. The match yesterday had it’s 2 goals in the first half both from the spot kick and that shows the level if brutality in the match. Bruno and Rashford converted from the spot to extend Everton winless run in the EPL to 11 games.

 In the match you can see both teams had same strength going forward but the defensive errors by Everton made them concede those penalty. Talking about the style of play of Manchester United, you can call that pattern of play very disappointing as one expected them to score more goals from open play. You can see how they all ghosted after those 2 goals in the first half and you can try to blame it on injury.Yes we understand the injury crisis in this team though but that doesn’t mean they can’t get something reasonable from this match. Everton have been struggling this 2024 and one expected Man United to have over 5 goals in that match and not struggle like that. The effect of this effect is shown on both teams.

 For Manchester United it’s a boost for their top 4 hopes  since they got all 3 points in this match but for Everton it’s keeping them in danger for relegation. Now Manchester United are 3 points away from Tottenham who are in a tight contest with Villa. The pressure now is much on Tottenham to get all 3 points or at least a draw from Aston Villa else I think they could be parking their load off 5th place soon. Aston Villa is putting on a very poor performance right now , especially that they are playing from Villa Park I really expected goals from both sides, but unfortunately it's a one sided affair in favour  of  Tottenham and the red card could have made things even tougher for a team I considered to be in very good form of late!! Btw, does Aston Villa even have any shot on target, ouch it's that bad!!!

It was relieving for me to see Salah entering Liverpool's last match in the second half.    Because I'm a Liverpool fan today.    This is a very crucial match to make a big impact on the championship. I hope to see the champion being Liverpool or Arsenal this season.

I thought Manchester City vs Liverpool match would be very competitive. Both teams will attack a lot and we will see a lot of goals. But I don't find the match very competitive. Both teams are playing somewhat defensively. We don't see much attack from either team's players.

City is going to win the game soon. No doubt that is caused by its being much more dominant in this game. Liverpool has been trying so hard to attack City from various sides, but it's still unable to score. Salah is going to play in the second half, and City needs to be even more careful. Alvarez was playing so poorly by very often wrongly passing the ball.
I hope he can be replaced by doku or someone capable enough to do that. There must not be a lot of changes happened in manchester city to win the game. The current squad is good enough to help the club in winning the game. Diaz can do nothing as long as walker is still there.

Honestly both of their goals came from penalty and that is why I think it's quite important to realize that Manchester United is still not looking all that great, they are not overpowering anyone and that's the most important part. I believe that we are going to see them fire ETH and that should be the most important thing. I think that's the most important thing, if they fire the manager then they are going to end up being much better.

I understand that they have loaded the team with who he wants, and that's definitely something, but that doesn't mean that we are going to see anything major changing. So all in all, we are going to end up with a whole rebuild of that team eventually, a few players may stay like Garnacho for sure, but many will have to change.

Even though Man City players are generally of higher quality, the rigid style of play that has shaped the brand will not be easy to change. It is highly appreciated, but Man City cannot beat Liverpool. The two teams played openly, constantly giving each other tit for tat. The match could have had more than two goals if the opportunities were fully utilized. Although their strength could be stronger, Liverpool can make it difficult for any opponent at home. Liverpool is also unafraid to push their squad to play double-attacks with their opponents. Not only was Manchester City less productive but Liverpool also didn't give a very strong performance because the 1 score that Liverpool got was only from a penalty kick and if that didn't happen maybe the PL title competition would have ended because Manchester City won.
