Onana was really amazing against Aston Villa which made me ask "Why isn't he like that most of the time?"    If he wasn't an inconsistent goalkeeper during the most part of the season he wouldn't have been highly criticized. But because of having a tough season people even started to create various memes about Onana's performance.

Maybe the bad look of the team this season caused Onana's concentration to be shaky as well. But he is actually a quite decent goalkeeper which he proved by this match too.    If he completes the season by minimum amount of mistakes from now on I don't think Manchester United would be in search of a new goalkeeper.

I'd blame the poor performance of the defense as it must have affected the performance declines of Andrea Onana. Props to Villa too, they made me happy with how they played.

I'd love to see him getting consistent from here. He is a goalscorer and a good goalkeeper for them. Manchester United are trying to maintain balance in this second half and they'll.

I have the same opinion as you that what must be paid attention to is not only Onana, it is not even worth blaming Onana because as a goalkeeper it will not be easy for him to guard his own goal against many opposing players if there is no support from the defense players it will definitely be very difficult for him Onana to save the goal.
One day I thought why people thought that Onana was the source of defeat in every MU match, even though he as a goalkeeper had tried his best to secure Manchester United goal.
I believe that if the defense can perform like they did against Aston Villa, Manchester United can definitely be better.

Well this win wasn’t outstanding as we expected more goal to at least help build the Goal Difference of the club. Though we’re still lurking around mid table, I think if we keep up with this impressive performance then we’ll be able to achieve something and be in a better position to get an European spot next season.

I think getting a spot in the European league next season is a very difficult mission for Chelsea. I have said before that Chelsea will not get any spots in international competitions next season. They are 12 points behind Aston Villa in fifth place, which is a requirement for a spot in the European league. Chelsea's performance is also very unstable. They were able to beat Aston Villa but they also often lost against mid-table teams. Manchester United and West Ham are also chasing spots in the European league. So I think Chelsea's best position at the end of this season is 7th or 8th in the standings.

You're right he did brilliantly in the previous match against villa, he blocked several shots from finding the back of the net and saved his team from being defeated or sharing points with villa. With the arrival or Sir Jim and the current appointments in recruitment teams and board members, i think Onana knows what's at stake if he fails to get back in form, therefore he's gradually gaining back his confidence hence his new form.

It would be a big surprise in my opinion if Chelsea can defeat City. Pep has made manchester city a complete coaching team. He implements the principle of width in attack and narrowness in defence perfectly. He always works with players he thinks will serve his tactics. He doesn't keep players who don't fit in (cancelo, sterling) even if they are talented. That's why he has been champion 5 times in the last 6 years. With the return of KDB, and he is almost at his old self, I reckon the chances for City has increased and they are favourite to win all.

Tis definitely collective efforts with with whole defender's and then the defensively midfielder's to do them job. Not to forget the midfielder's entirely to keep a good possessions so that they can as well control the game and how it flows.

I no longer respond to those who criticize Andrea Onana, with time he'll silent all of the critics. In between he has made a good percentage of saves over any other goalkeeper in the Premier League Competition this very season but no body would want to talk about it.

That's only one match but his stats was nothing if we are taking his average performance. i think that is quite clear that if onana's performance in a game has not enough proven that if he was a worthy goal keeper for the club. MU was able winning against it but i think that onana needs to get more games to prove himself.
Aston villa was so underperform. Manchester united was lucky enough caused by the defenders were playing so well in that game. Onana's performance was so bad but i must be honest that if onana has been helped by manchester united's defender. His performance looked good once he will he helped by the good defenders like when he was playing at intermilan.
Onana needs to learn how to put all of his focus onto the game. He has been making so many blunders that were result in killing the performance from the club. I think that anyone was feeling very familiar with the performance from the club.

He still needs to try so that he’ll be able to keep some clean sheets as those could help him get the golden gloves in his first season in the league.

 For Chelsea they seem to be on fire but that fire can’t be trusted as it can be put off at anytime especially because they’re not able to maintain consistency. Them not maintaining consistency is what sees them to be around mid table and over the weekend they have a match against City which I don’t see them being able to have anything off that match. Manchester United has been able to get three wins in the last 5 matches. they have been able to get three wins in the last three matches actually. So things are definitely looking better for them. The performance is good now but I wonder if they will actually be able to play consistently for a longer period of time. Because in the last three matches that they were able to win one after another, only Aston Villa was a team that they were able to beat which was ahead of them. And this is also the time when Aston Villa was not playing very consistently. So that's why I am actually starting to doubt them. I think this is related to Varane being back to play in defense that makes the defense structure well-organized. Chelsea's current momentum cannot be dismissed merely as a fleeting "fire." You should not forget is age and get to know that he'll not perform at a top level for too long, before bashing him remember his first season with the club and how he performed in between they all have been through a lot this very season and it has of course affected a wide range of players in the club. Football is a game full of surprises and the EPL being on of the toughest league in the world is a league where one's expectations could be cut short, in the EPL you could see top clubs like Liverpool and City struggling to win against newly introduced Luton and even end up losing against them and one thing i love about this league is because every week has it's own suprises and you dare not underestimate any team else you could be taken by suprise.

 However Tottenham haven't really secured the top 4 yet since they got major competition against United and Villa, they might be ahead with about 6 points but it's not really enough yet cause 2 draws or losses would close the gap and give other teams an advantage ahead of them. Ange Postecoglou needs to do everything possible to make sure they win their next fixture, at this point they need to be very consistent and maintain it for a long while cause United haven't given up on the top 4 yet and are very eager to get there if Tottenham miss their chances. As for Aston Villa, I think they lost their touch and would not make top 4 but maybe the Europa or conference League.

I guess you all remember how things went on their latest rendezvous. Chelsea showed a spectacular resistance and got a 4-4 draw. Palmer also had a good performance against his old team. Even Jackson scored a goal.    On the other hand I have big doubts about Chelsea on this one. Because Manchester City have De Bruyne back in the squad and the match is at Etihad.

Manchester City have odds around 1.35 which is decent enough to add to parlays. I would just prefer that instead of going on with a different market.

The only problem that owned by manchester united was on the goal keeper and defenders. The main problem is now manchester united doesn't have good defenders in the squad.

I have heard that if ten hag has been planing to revamp the club and i hope this will be ready very soon.
