If you look at the current standings where Aston Villa is with 49 points and Manchester United with 44 points, I think it is not impossible to achieve if United is able to play consistently in every match. I agree with you that it is a reasonable target. But I also see United's problem is that they don't have a great finisher who is able to convert every opportunity into a goal. They also lacked in defense and we can see how United were beaten because they had a weak defense. I think these two sectors need to be improved in the next season.

This 2024 has been an amazing start for them as they’ve maintained positive start this year and had great results which have now changed and shaped this team. Now we’re seeing them as a UCL spot contender if they’re able to maintain this positive start. Talks about comparism of Rasmus and Erling at this stage isn’t needed though. Yes because it could get into the head of Rasmus and he then underperforms. So I feel they both have different ability though they play similarly but I think Erling still stand clear. Though Rasmus is young and can still achieve a lot if he keeps up the fire.

They had a tough Pre-season over the states and couldn't prepare well for the new season, in short they came into the competition with lots of names Injured how do you expect the manager to work with his team in such way?
Players to be used for selections would be out Injured and would not be able to project the plans of the manager. The defense at most suffered since they lost Lisandro Martinez during that Europa League Competition against Sevilla. Do you know that since then, Manchester United hasn't done hundred percent defending for me.

For Erik Ten Hag to do changes, it has to come from the management,they all have to sit together and know what next to do for the club and to win trophies.

For United, they've had good records from the beginning of their existence till 2seasons ago when they started experiencing gradual decline. Their coach switches has an effect on the team, they found it hard to secure a good coach that complements and will impact the team positively. And this has been on and on till this season when the situation got critical and United is literally nowhere to be found in the top 4 spot and they keep going behind in their struggle each passing week. Ten Hag is obviously not good for them currently as the team keeps slacking back and they do not stop looking confused on the pitch. All his implemented tactics and strategies aren't okay off well for him and it's safe to say that as the head of the team, he's got the greater part of the blame to bear.  

 For me I'd say the fault is from both Ten Hag and his players as well. The players fault in the sense that they're being too sluggish in the pitch, they play like there's no interest in the game and they just want to get done with it. The way and manner they give off chances and how smaller teams capitalize on their mistakes to earn a lead from them. They've got good players but the players aren't at their best self week after week. Also consider the coach being at fault because many times he'd make a new strategy which in the end doesn't work for them, and then thesame strategy will still be repeated in other games. Not just tactics, both player combinations. Why on earth would a coach still keep implementing a strategy that's failed and isn't even bulging to make corrections? He's the manager and the bigger responsibility is on his shoulder. His job is on the line and if he's been unserious about it, then he should be set to embrace a sack. They've got quality players in the team, he should be able to maximize these players.

There is a lot of speculation circulating so it is not a certainty.
Regarding Liverpool's performance in the final, I think there will be no problems even without M. Salah because the Liverpool team does not depend on any one player and this was proven a few weeks ago when M. Salah was absent from defending his country.
And I'm still pretty sure Liverpool will be able to win their first trophy next week, Chelsea are currently in a slump so there's nothing to expect from them.

I mean, who the hell assumes Liverpool will win the trophy, considering how many injuries they have now? If anything, I feel like people are still putting City in the favorite position since the difference is only 1 point. But being promoted or not has no relation to financial power or how pretty their stadium is. If they play good football and win the second division or at the top, they will get promoted sooner or later. If the problem comes with the match being less enjoyable to watch on TV, or because VAR has troubles due to a lack of camera, etc, they should ask for help from the sponsor or the federation. It is very difficult for a small team like Luton to get into this league. In fact, it is a very well-established club and its history goes back a long way, but great financial power is needed to continue in this league. They are struggling to stay in one of the toughest leagues in the world.

It would be very bad if Salah got injured again when the team was in a position like this. Liverpool must win all their matches if they want to become premier league champions. They are hunting for the title with City. We know City is a very dangerous rival and they will try to displace Liverpool from the top of the standings. But as you said, sometimes the media writes that players are injured but actually it's just a minor injury. The amount of plans that Ten Hag has been making for the summer transfer season is quite extensive. Assuming he can bring UTD back to the UCL, which I am confident he will, there is no reason for the team to consider sacking him. In this Manchester United defense, I can only boast of  Diego Dalot, Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez, Rapheal Varane and lastly Aaron Wan Bisakka. The rest I have nothing to say about they're not consistent and some are overhyped and over protected even when they do not do enough for the club Manchester United.

Jonny Evans am Harry Maguire should leave, they're too dull and that has affected the pace of the game from the back.

Guehi from Crystal Palace would make lots of sense,  he has been linked more than a month or two now with Manchester United. The new owners are more interested in getting players who are close to them contract getting to the end or in the next six months. I know the new sporting directors would all link up for whatever that's best for the club.
