When it comes to the Manchester United - Tottenham game at the weekend, the odds for the sides are like below.



Those are really close odds and tempting ones at the same time right?    People should keep in mind both teams are in similar conditions in the Premier League now. The same points, the only difference is the number of goals they have scored. Tottenham have been more productive with 4 more goals. Manchester United to this game with another draw in the Europa League this time.

Honestly I wouldn't bet on any side but if I would my choice would still be the Red Devils. They can be really unpredictable in big games. But my choice for this game is BTTS @1.41. 

I won't say Tottenham can defeat Manchester United but if Tottenham wins the game it should not be a surprise to us because we all know that Manchester United is not a team that people can trust and believe that they will win the game, Manchester united performance both premier league and Europa league is so bad, Manchester united last game against Fc twente was very poor because Manchester united can not defeat that small team and win the game to get 3 points.

But If Manchester United did not sack Erik ten Hag in January next year and got another coach when the transfer window opened the team would have ended up in relegation position at the end of the season because having a coach like Erik ten Hag doesn't know how to use the player's is like wasting the team effort, Manchester united president needs to look at the other team and how they are doing when they sack the coach that can not help the team, but if Manchester United fans are happy with him then no problem they are the one that will not be happy when the team is playing, and also about the upcoming of Manchester united against Tottenham I don't think Manchester united can win because Tottenham performance is better than Manchester United this season.

The 2-2 draw with Manchester City in the previous game is our reference to say their chances of this season are better, but I think we can't expect too much from Arsenal to remember what happened last season, Arsenal were able to hold Manchester City with score 0-0  at the Etihad Stadium and beat them at the Emirates Stadium 1-0, But in reality, Arsenal actually slumped at the end of the season and handed over the championship trophy to Manchester City after they had been guarding it since the beginning of the season.

Arsenal's main weakness was that their bench team was not strong. The coach had very limited talent pool. So when a player suffers an injury, the coach does not have a qualified replacement. And this is why this team could not dominate the Premier League in the last two seasons. In the last two seasons, we have seen Arsenal's overall performance erratic whenever a key player in the squad suffered an injury. And Arsenal's bench team is not strong this season either. Arsenal's performance so far has been very consistent. However, I think Arsenal's performance will deteriorate if any key player in Arsenal's squad suffers from injury.

Don't just judge it from the negative side because in fact, Arsenal under Arteta has managed to become a team that is consistent at the top of the standings. Not only that, in fact last season regarding the trophy-winning team, it was actually determined in the last match between Manchester City and Arsenal, but Manchester City still managed to get the trophy. But even so, Arsenal remains a strong team in the fight for trophies at least in the last two seasons.

I have nothing to say about Erik Ten Hag no more, I'm gradually becoming tired like every other Manchester United fan who wants quick change because Manchester United has been known to be a very good side over the years truthfully.
Odds are not used to decide games you should have known better, we'll see how Tottenham Hotspur does tonight then, we can now judge how well they'll do against Manchester United on Sunday at  Old Trafford. Having Harry Maguire in the defense is something I don't want to see no more. Too much touches on the ball and has no pave, in between, a good short and close range passer of the ball. Both teams scoring could happen but it's a win or draw for Manchester United.

I understand how disappointed you are right now seeing Man United's slump. But believe me, a beautiful day will come soon and I am very sure that this season will be the last season for Man United to get bad and in the coming season, MU will get better results.
Regarding Maguire, it is actually time for MU to find a replacement to get young players who are more productive and more aggressive to contribute to the team.

What do you mean by a 3rd team joining the race for the league title. Arsenal are already up there with Manchester City as the most consistent team in the EPL. So if you’re talking about 3rd place, Arsenal shouldn’t be in that group. Arsenal have been the only team competing against Manchester City for the league in the last two seasons. We saw how City struggled against Arsenal’s 10 man squad during the weekend, Arteta has proved to be a great rival for Guardiola.

Maybe Liverpool or Chelsea can be considered for third place this season.

I think the next match versus Newcastle, Manchester City will play all out to return their draw last week. As we know, the previous match it really frustrates them to get the winning with a parking bus strategy arsenal. They are not have a problem to carry out newcastle on their home because when we look head to head on previous session, Manc City just win all the matches. But we don't know how their performance without Rodry because he was get the injury in the previous match. he is a manc city core player as an anchor to supply the ball from back to attacker. so Rodry position is likely to be filled by another player which means Pep will implementing a new scheme to cover the gap.

Looking at the head to head of both teams, Manchester united has won more than Tottenham but considering how Manchester united has been underperforming it won't be surprising if Tottenham wins them on sunday though the both teams are in similar form because Tottenham has only won 2 out of the 5 premier league matches they've played, same with Manchester united and they are 10th and 11th position in the league table respectively and have 7 points  each so the strength of the both teams seems equal and they might end the match in a draw. The Europa league games should not be compared with domestic league games because for the fact that Tottenham won their match against Qarabag and Manchester united played draw against Twente doesn't mean Tottenham is a better side.

Well, I have patience but I will not tolerate another bad season same way they did last season finishing below top four clubs in the Premier League Competition. Well, if Manchester United can not dominate now when Pep Guardiola is in charge, then there's nothing great about it. Did you see the way Liverpool did seasons ago against them? They've got Leny Yoro as back up player and plans to get in Jared Branthwaite still in place. I never liked Harry Maguire as a Manchester United defender from day one, too sluggish and a defender without pace is no different from an attacker that doesn't score and assist. Over 3.5? That's way brave of you, let's see then, interesting weekend ahead.

Liverpool still remains the 3rd team to join in the title race. They're still very consistent, despite a new coach after their old one retired. But there was no significant change happening to their performance, under their new coach. They still performed as well as last season when they competed with City and Arsenal for the title race.

Yes, Arsenal is a strong competitor of Manchester City in the last 2 seasons until entering the 3rd season now, maybe what @CLS63 meant is the 3rd club that is likely to hinder Manchester City's path in the title hunt like Liverpool last season so there will be 3 main competitors who will fight to appear consistently until the end and determine their victory at the end of the season, but for now it is not certain because the standings are still changing for the top 3 teams while being occupied by Manchester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa, Arsenal has been shifted to 4th place, the competition is still very fierce and we don't know which club will be worthy of occupying first or second place if they haven't played many matches at least until the middle of the season.

As it stands, it's hard to tell which team is better between Manchester united and Tottenham because both managers lack proper game plan and tactics which make them to be equal. Defensively, Tottenham is very poor that any clinical striker would easily outsmart them but sadly, Manchester united attack is nothing to write home about and I don't see them out playing Tottenham shamble defense. Generally, Tottenham seems to play better than United from the recent match of two teams in Europa league considering the fact that Tottenham played with a man down and still managed to win. On the other hand, united also did not play too badly but they couldn't win. A draw result from this match will be much anticipated.

Why be disappointed too far because in the end when talking about Manchester United's slump this is not the first time so why feel disappointed because every season is always the same lol.

Manchester United's defense has also been very good in terms of planning because they made some pretty good transfers there but it didn't work out very well. Yoro who was projected to be a defensive player this season in fact did not live up to expectations because he had to rest for several months due to an injury received. De Ligt has also arrived for the center-back position so actually the plan was quite well done and Maguire was not really needed but when unexpected things like Yoro's injury and player rotation because Manchester United has several other competitions especially the price of Maguire is also too over until now makes him stay at Old Trafford.

So as long as the situation does not change Maguire will remain at Manchester United especially since his contract also expires at the end of this season which allows him to leave on a free transfer.

They must be meaning another team to join the title competition other than Arsenal and Manchester City. Not the team to finish at the third position.

When it comes to this topic, Liverpool have been doing well with Arne Slot so far. I was having doubts about him, I won't lie.    Because he didn't have a very impressive career before. But so far so good... If we see consistency during the most part of the season then why not? About Chelsea, I can't be sure. Enzo Maresca has started to do really good recently. But we are still talking about a team that have struggled a lot for years. It is early to be sure.

Liverpool is at 12 and interestingly Villa is at 12 points as well which is something I did not expected but I also do not expect them to stay there. It is normal to see many people underestimate Man United because it is a fact that their performance is not good so far in EPL (both teams have the same result with 2W 1D 2L) but Spurs is better in scoring goals compared to United.
The odds for United shows that they are not that favorite in the game, it will be a tough and balanced game IMO and maybe the game will end in a draw.
If you are going to bet, it is better to avoid 1x2 market because it is hard game to predict due to the incosistency of both teams since the season started.
But if you are so sure that Man United will win, the odds is quite tempting to skip so you can bet on them as long as you are ready for the worse case.

People can also use their emotions to make predictions and it's such a wrong way to go about it. Manchester United would be at home again, maybe Erik Ten Hag should start De Ligt over Harry Maguire for these game. Tottenham Hotspur are also a pacy side, you can field a player who lacks pace in that game, it'll not be a great partnership. Just like you, I'd say a win or draw for Manchester United but totally, football fans should avoid that game off their tickets.

At the beginning of the season, this margin did not seem so important but it also showed the precarity. Just a single defeat or win in the same week and a team's position could be vastly different as has happened with City and Arsenal.

Liverpool are interesting to watch as well. After more managerial changes, they have still held the top half of the table. This indicates that, with their system and foundations, no matter what changes are made, they are strong enough to keep them competitive. As for Aston Villa to be level with Liverpool is surprising, but given their recent form, Fourth is not out of their reach. Villa has shown good consistency; if they continue in this manner, they have every chance of finishing in the top four.

With Arsenal not at the top yet but very near, a win would bring them back in the race.
