Just to let you know, Chelsea is never a formidable team. For the fact that Chelsea won their first 2 matches of the season doesn't make them formidable. Have you checked all the matches they have played this season? They have conceded too many goals so you can't call a team like that formidable. They have never won any match with a clean sheet, they have a weak midfield and defense, it's only their strikers that are doing a good job. For Hull City, a say bravo to them because when they started the season, they won Manchester United who is even more aggressive than Chelsea. I don't think Chelsea can win Hull City in this match, the higgest performance they can get is a draw. When a coach refuses to solidify the defense, what do you expect if not to concede goals. Xabi Alonso lacks that understanding and it will hunt him till he makes the defense a necessity.

Hull City is gonna be a trouble only for a club with weak defense. In fact, it's not all of top teams have weak defense like Chelsea. Look at City and Arsenal who conceded far less than Chelsea. I don't think Hull City will cause a problem for those clubs.

Is just a few games played and I have been holding from raining praise on this Hull city boys too early. They have played three games and have not conceding a single goal apart from today against Chelsea. The right question should have been that, can Hull city establish this strong resilience in form for long against the big teams in the premier league?

Chelsea players are not direct and tactical in the game imspite of their possession of the game which is a thing expected cause they are the big boys in this game.

Yes I can that at my end as that goal from Pedro has changed the trajectory of the game and Chelsea is now pressing while the Hul City players have fallen back to their own half, it's almost looking as if they're settling for a draw in any worse case.

I don't want to take credit away from Nottingham Forest, but Aston Villa made me lose this seemingly simple and fairly obvious gamble.
The beauty of football is surprises for sure, but my focus at this point is shifting to them, in the last few games he's played the only team that has made Nottingham suffer have been Leeds.

He must not score in every match before we acknowledge his impact in the team. He's has been playing a key role in the winnings of Chelsea and he's very supportive just as you pointed out. Unfortunately for Chelsea, it's a full-time draw as Hull City held the blues at Stamford Bridge. Why is that Chelsea have been conceding 2 goals and above in the EPL matches they have played, is that how they intend to contend the EPL title? I think Xabi Alonso will just focus on qualifying Chelsea for European competitions but for a possible title race, it's not possible.

I never perceived it this way that Liverpool will not make genuine impact in a game like this even to score a goal was as difficult as carrying an elephant with bare hand without liver support, fullham has become the elephant that Liverpool can't carry, if this is their best performance I doubt if they will move forward in this season because the performance is not what I believe on them it's not impressing, I expected the team to score just a goal but no attempt that show they are able to make good impact on the game. I can't celebrate their draw because it's down grading what their performance use to be I see that the team is lacking on certain force even in their last match it's not too impressive.

From my observation of the match, more work needs to be done on Chelsea's defense; the two goals were all clear defensive errors. We don't know yet if Hull City will give the big teams in the premier league tough time and the two big teams they played are still building up so I don't want to conclude yet until they play Arsenal and Manchester city though the only most Inform team now in the premier league is Arsenal so if they are able to defeat Arsenal I will tell for sure that they can even qualify for champions league next season untill this happens I won't conclude but apparently they are doing great

Yes he did play very well as a side-forward for yesterday's champions League game but I don't have to expect goals from him that even the odds don't necessarily equate to the odds, but if that's the way you put it, I want Wirtz to score his first goal, I hope he kicks straight from the box with no option to pass the ball to their attacking players.

The match is over, and Iraola still hasn’t been able to deliver a win for Liverpool at Anfield. Beating Atlético Madrid at Anfield isn’t the same as winning in the Premier League. Barcola started the game, but Iraola pulled him out and brought in Rio Ngumoha as a winger.

Of course they'll cause a problem for top teams that are yet to fully find their feet in the league. They have a good defensive structure and aggressiveness and also good on the counter. Chelsea is currently struggling with their defense and midfield that's why their keeper gets exposed easily. I think the problem stems from the Midfield and left back today. Without Caicedo their is usually no shield protecting the defense and it's why the defense suffers from quick counters.

Also there's always an issue whenever Hato plays. His wing is usually the weak side and even today his carelessness cost the team today again. Sometimes I wonder why the coach doesn't trust Chavarria to start yet. Chavarria has proven to be solid an useful so why always keep him on the bench. Whatever reason Alonso has he should correct himself.

As I write this post, five matches have already concluded, and the results are quite shocking; I foresee some managers facing early dismissal if things remain as dire as they currently are. I am referring specifically to the results for Liverpool and Aston Villa. Let me start with the Liverpool match:

Liverpool played at home against an opponent that isn't contending for the title—quite the opposite, in fact, as they are fighting to stay in the league. They faced a team that hadn't won a single game in their previous four outings. Consequently, Liverpool was expected to secure a victory, yet they failed to score even a single goal, and the match ended in a goalless draw. With this result, Liverpool now has three draws and only one win, falling further behind the top teams with every matchday. Honestly, I wonder how long the Liverpool manager will last this season.

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Nottingham Forest

Despite playing at home against an opponent that had yet to secure a single win, Aston Villa suffered a defeat. This loss places them alongside Tottenham in the standings—a truly unbelievable sight. Aston Villa has now gone four consecutive games without a win. I find myself wondering how many more matchdays the Aston Villa manager will survive; at this rate, I doubt he will finish the season in charge of the team.

I wonder how some people watch this game of football, If you did watch this match without sentiment you Should know better that Cole Palmer was present in the game, and was actually the best player from the Chelsea side today. He’s not a striker, and he must not score in every game to prove something. you can even count how many midfielders that score on a regular like him, they are just few in the league. but he was still able to get an assist. And that’s his primary role as an attacking midfielder, did you not see the other assist he would have gotten if  Morgan rogers had just scored? Chelsea definitely have a problem this season but not Palmer, joa Pedro or even Morgan rogers.

Chelsea are still up in this title race, let them fix the defense and the midfield and maybe we can tell if they are still in the title race or not, don’t forget this same hull city have not conceded a goal in the premier league league this season until they faced the Chelsea’s attack today. Hull city played a low block game and their players locked every goal scoring opportunity for Chelsea. Hull city almost scored the winning goal in the last minute but thanks to Emi Martinez save if not it would’ve been 2:3 in favor of Hull city. I think the absence of Caicedo in Chelsea’s midfield is really affecting the team defensively, forcing Alonso to start both Reece James and Malo Gusto in midfield and these are two defensive players playing out of position. For whatever reason i don’t think it was wise for Alonso keeping Maxence Lacroix on the bench and starting Fofana who is a shaky defender, Lacroix only came on in the last minutes and provided some level of stability in the defense. Overall it was a very tough game against a low block team as Hull city and Chelsea were lucky to have gotten a draw because hull city really posed a lot of threat whenever they go forward.
