Hull City has indeed performed better at the start of this season. They also managed to draw against Aston Villa and Chelsea. I think they are preparing well for the Premier League, even though I don't have high expectations for this team.

There is always something unexpected in derby matches, that's what I said before. Even though many favor Man City, luck has already been on United's side. Everything will depend on United's ability.

They remain yet unbeaten in the Premier League Competition. The owner was interviewed prior to the start of the league and his words were how he wants to stay in the Premier League and not return this same season. So far so good, he has seen his club remain unbeaten and it is more like keeping to his words. The big question is how far can they go? Because, how far is not how well. Who will?! Hull City are  gradually becoming the dark horse this season.

Manchester United is the club you shouldn't be expecting anything from. One thing is sure, this should be yet another trophyless season. Michael also will not be the guy to win Manchester United the Premier League Competition.

I am not a United supporter, and I also don't expect much from this club. But they showed strong performance improvement last season.
Regarding the derby match against Man City, I just said that luck was on United's side when they had a numerical advantage in the first half. After that, everything would depend on how they tried to win the match. Unfortunately, they couldn't take advantage of it.

Manchester City look weak under Enzo Maresca I don't know if you agree that's but with 11 man Manchester City didn't create that's much chances and after the red card of Phil foden they look more weaker then ever but unfortunate for Manchester United they lost that's game and the goal Haaland scored was also a Offside goal if you closely look at that's goal. But this Manchester City team need some changes otherwise the season is long and they will face alot of problems when the season get heated at mid season.  On the other side Manchester United is not in a comeback mode they want to survive this season only every club are preparing himself for the comeback but Manchester United has other plan Haha.

12 points in 12 games, yet they look weak? I’d like to know compared to whom. It is clear that they lost the cup to Arsenal, which is why Arsenal is rated more highly, but among the other clubs, there isn't a single one capable of challenging City. I’m not a City fan, quite the opposite in fact, but it seems to me that everything is going brilliantly for them. In the next round, Arsenal plays Brighton, which have the best goal difference in the league, let's see if they live up to their status as favorites.

I think 3 games in the premier league is much too early to judge the patience of the team or the fans. Especially if we do think of this team as a struggling team. Carrick did well to revamp the team to some progress last season, got them in the UCL and they are still a dream to be reckoned with in the EPL.

Darby games always comes with a different vibe and regardless of whom might be considered favorites, nothing ever proves to be what it seems in a Derby.

The red card situation should have presented them a real opportunity to get something out of this match, it came really early and for them to have played an entire 70 minutes against a 10 man Manchester City without a goal, that’s rather discouraging but, we’ve got to applaud the ingenuity of Manchester City.
What fvckery! 3 games is too much?! This is how you know that Manchester United fans have officially accepted the low standards. The same Manchester United fans who criticised Ruben Amorim when he accumulated 3-4 points in 4 games at the beginning of the season, they're the same fans accepting and defending Michael Carrick after accumulation of the same points in four games. We should be at the top of the league just like Manchester City and Arsenal, but look at us, down below.
"Started from the bottom, Down below. Even in the cold nights, I was sleeping on the floor"  Grin

You really wish the team's decision to sack the old coach for a "better" one should have influenced the players and brought different outcome, but sadly it hasn't and that only means one of all these options. The league is far more competitive than it was few years ago. The new manager isn't doing anything very different from what the former manager did. The team needs a tactical and more experienced defensive line. Accepting the low standards and giving excuses for the manager's incompetence will only get worse as time goes by.

Do you think a team like Hull City would miss that opportunity? It's not sheer coincidence, the club is trash.

Well, changing coaches alone isn't a guarantee for performance improvement. From what I have seen so far, Manchester united haven't made any significant buys this season—just Santos, and Tielemans are the only decent signings—and having an addition of good players with a good coach is the perfect combo for a better result. I think Manchester united need a clinical finisher; other than that, they do have a pretty decent squad. Maybe, time will paint a better picture.

I didn't want to include that because an obsessed fan can easily debunk that statement by saying they made a transfer for positions that they the team was lagging, but we can all agree that the defensive line is poor. They can blame the new manager all their want, but the players are not doing enough of their jobs.

Speaking of a striker, Marcus Rashford isn't an ideal one for me. I have noticed a pattern in so many free kicks he's been awarded to take--- he just doesn't score. It's more like he aims for the either the crossbar or the woodwork. His attempt aren't promising at all, and that's obviously why Barcelona dropped him completely. Time will only paint an uglier picture.

i have said this before that Benjamin Sesko is not really fit to be Manchester united finisher though he may have saved them or score goals in some critical moment but that does not still change the fact that he is not that good for the team. if Michael Carrick is unable to save Manchester united this season from their setbacks then their problem will be a very critical one that may take years or season to repair but i have the feeling Michael Carrick will deliver them.

You don't have to blame Sesko for the lack of passes he gets from the midfield, sometimes he has to fall back due to the lack of connection from the midfielders, those times he moves out of the penalty box costs him the chances of finishing, before you call him out, check how well he did at RB Leipzig. Man U isn't giving him the back up he deserves to bring out his best. Not letting him start games too wasn't the right step for Carrick to take against City.

Are you being serious? How is Sesko not good for Man United? Amongst United's forwards last season, he was given fewer minutes, and he got 10 goals, the same as Cunha. This season, he started most of the matches from the bench, and so far he has played in fewer games and fewer minutes, and yet he has 2 goals to his name. One in the Champions League and one in the league. Against City, Sesko was on the pitch for just 30 or 25 minutes, and you are administering blame on him. You should blame Carrick instead for not starting him.

So disappointing, this Micheal Carrick is beginning to have a questionable character, like what some rival fans was saying last season is beginning to manifest, many people believe if Michael Carrick should be given the job permanently, he won't know how to manage it, and with the look of things that's what I'm seeing now, Manchester United management actually gave him his desired players in the just concluded transfer window, so what is the problem with him, if he continues like this he might end up not making it to the top four this season.

This season won't be any different from the previous season for Manchester City, although their are now recovering, with a 12 point total and how their have managed to beat most team's they meet this season, you can see how things played out between them and Manchester United in the last game, despite the red card, Manchester City was still able to beat Manchester United, in the game, that is a show of might and readiness from the team, and the current coach is really doing a good job to revive the club back to it previous standards of ball play.

I didn't expect Newcastle to concede 4 goals against Leeds United. Unlike the 5 goals Coventry conceded against Brighton is still somewhat understandable because they had red card, so there was at least some context behind the result. Nevermind Manchester derby. lol

And speaking of Coventry, they still haven't kept cleansheet this season. They also haven't scored a single goal in the Premier League either. Tottenham are in the same situation with 0 goals so far.

Spurs spent new signings this season, but we're still waiting for those goals.

Well, changing coaches alone isn't a guarantee for performance improvement. From what I have seen so far, Manchester united haven't made any significant buys this season—just Santos, and Tielemans are the only decent signings—and having an addition of good players with a good coach is the perfect combo for a better result.
I feel Manchester United not signing much players this season is just going to affect them, I was thinking they going to improve some positions which they are weak by signing some players, but they didn’t spend so much during the transfer window. If you properly check Manchester United squad, you going to see that it’s not so strong, and that’s why their performance has not been so satisfying in the premier league, just imagine if the other competitions which they will be participating in start, how is Carrick going to properly manage the players they are having now. I just think Manchester United performance is going to drop more when other competitions start.

i have said this before that Benjamin Sesko is not really fit to be Manchester united finisher though he may have saved them or score goals in some critical moment but that does not still change the fact that he is not that good for the team. if Michael Carrick is unable to save Manchester united this season from their setbacks then their problem will be a very critical one that may take years or season to repair but i have the feeling Michael Carrick will deliver them.

Benjamin sesko is doing well, the reason why it is as he's not performing so well is because he's not getting good passes. Take for instance Their previous match against Manchester city, he didn't even get a clear chance not even a good pass. I saw him struggling to get the ball from their opponent in several occasions and yet you're saying that he's not feet? Sesko is not even supposed to be struggling for ball his duty I mean the reason why he's there is to score but they are not feeding him with the passes he want, if his team mates start giving him good passes trust me he will come out as one of the best striker.

Well, City are winning games thats the most important thing, even if the wins are ugly ones. The reason why many people are talking about Man City football not being entertaining lately is just that they are under a new manager and obviously they will have to undergo that transition phase, which is a normal thing, so even if the style of play is not as beautiful as it was under Pep right now, at least they are getting their points in the bag and they are ta the top of the table along with Arsenal.

I think Manchester united need a clinical finisher; other than that, they do have a pretty decent squad. Maybe, time will paint a better picture.

You loss a couple of games and the result would be a change in management! Even Chelsea that has being at the top of this culture of no nonsense with managers wouldn’t do that in this case. Not like Manchester United was better than Manchester City although, the 10 man Manchester City made things a little awkward. What was more awkward is how Haaland’s goal was allowed to stand, even with him not having to be in an offside position, he had a team mate that was and rightly made attempts on the ball before it got to Haaland even though he didn’t make any contact with the ball. The goal shouldn’t have stood.

Yes lack of passes is the main reason he is not doing as expected from all this season but will go beyond expectation if more passes are delivered to him as expected.
Benjamin sesko is among the most promising striker in England willing to deliver beyond expectation but still not doing so because of the teams in balance and poor distribution approach in games.
Just lack in there last champions league game,  after clearly watching the game you will see that he was pushing for more goals but couldn't do so because of lack of passes.  To an extent I began to wonder if there was misunderstanding between them that made them prefer giving to other players than him.

I didn't remember or know that there's Monday night football. So I missed watching the match. I didn't know something dramatic was going on until I saw 3 nill notification on my phone. I had to return home to watch the match but I only met a few minutes to end the match. I don't know what is wrong with Newcastle honestly.

I didn't expect that either, but in the end they got a consolation goal and it saved my ticket. BTTS was the deal and they turned up Wink
I'm not going to lie Newcastle has not been themselves this season, from the way they played you will know they are not yet settled after losing some of their best players. Bruno Guimeres, Tonali, and Gordon. It will take a while before they find themselves again.
In this game Leeds controlled the game, created more chances and took most of their chances. It could be the home advantage but still it's not a good reason for Newcastle to concede 4 against Leeds united.

Conventry against Brighton was understandable, they are newly promoted, got a red card and Brighton is a more stronger side.
Newcastle might be struggling but still much better than Spurs. Tottenham made some good signings but yet still struggling to even get a goal.

Coventry is understandable because they are coming from championship and they have faced some difficult fixtures but I don't know what to say about Tottenham, especially when I remember about their good players and sharp attackers.
Tottehem Hotspur needs all the backlash from their fans because the board, the manager, Roberto de Zerbi and the players should come out and explain to me how they're unable to gain 3 solid points this season? They've been competing but this season have been completely pure dominance from their oppositions and today, Spurs are not even eligible to accumulate the least winning with average sides.

I'm curious, nif Tottehem Hotspur are finding it extremely difficult to win against average sides, what makes them believe they stand a chance to win when they face elite sides? For God's sake, they need to start doing better because it's no longer funny to see a team like Tottehem Hotspur spending high figures in the transfer window and ending up not been able to perform.

There case has become a puzzle that some of us can't read or unfold. What they hell is wrong with the club? They used to be one of the big teams previously, and when they meet other big teams, it becomes a clash of the Titans, but today, it's the other way round. Almost every team wins them. Them still playing in the top flight of English football this season is a miracle. I don't really know who to blame for there predicaments, either the board, manager or players. They better think fast, if not, last seasons miracle may not happen again to them. They might not escape relegation this time again.
