His starting performance this season is really disappointing for sure but, the United management didn’t give him his desired players, he publicly admitted that his squad was left short in areas like the defense especially the left-back but in his statement he said he’s confident with the current squad and he can manage it to produce good results but we're seeing otherwise rn.

I feel very sad for Manchester United because I don't expect the club to still be struggling at this point. Manchester United is just the same with no improvement, like in the early days of Ten Hag when Ronaldo was at Manchester United, and because of poor management, he had to leave the club.

I think they played badly in the Manchester derby,  because I really don't understand how they will lose the game even with Manchester city playing a man down for almost all the match. We can all attribute the loss to Michael Carrick,  but I think Manchester United have a lot of average players that is not helping the team, so I think the blame should go to the board that has refused to invest in the team, so changing manager is not the solution if the board is not ready to invest in the team.

I think the board have made a little invest for the team, because before their lack of standards defenders but now all the Manchester United defensive players are intact.

I am not a United supporter, and I also don't expect much from this club. But they showed strong performance improvement last season. 
Regarding the derby match against Man City, I just said that luck was on United's side when they had a numerical advantage in the first half. After that, everything would depend on how they tried to win the match. Unfortunately, they couldn't take advantage of it.

What's luck when Manchester City was the better team despite been down to 10men? Get your facts straight because Manchester United just got lucky because Manchester City was reduced to 10 men because I know one thing was certain at Old Trafford, things would have blown out of proportion. Wow, what a blast from the past that picture is... Crazy to think that 1:6 loss happened under Alex Ferguson, with Man United being in their prime, basically. Although Man City was, in a way in their prime too...

Asides that, look at Ineos managing the footballing aspect of Manchester United and how they're doing with their other clubs in Switzerland and French league 1. Are they doing well? Manchester City look weak under Enzo Maresca I don't know if you agree that's but with 11 man Manchester City didn't create that's much chances and after the red card of Phil foden they look more weaker then ever but unfortunate for Manchester United they lost that's game and the goal Haaland scored was also a Offside goal if you closely look at that's goal. But this Manchester City team need some changes otherwise the season is long and they will face alot of problems when the season get heated at mid season.  On the other side Manchester United is not in a comeback mode they want to survive this season only every club are preparing himself for the comeback but Manchester United has other plan Haha.

Even if Manchester City has 12 points from the 4 games they played so far and are 2nd in the league standings i completely agree they are weak under Enzo Maresca because the rate in which they score goals and win games under Pep, they are yet to replicate it under Enzo Maresca, and it would have cause them to drop points in their last two games but they were lucky to have won the games by 1:0. Michael Carrick reinstating Marcus Rashford to the Manchester United team made him to adopt a new tactics this season, and i do not see Manchester United making a comeback this season with that tactics because they look weak against opposition with that tactics.

I think the main fault behind Manchester United poor performance is that they are unable to stabilize their team in a balanced performance. Even though they have good players, they are unable to provide their best output. And I have noticed in the last matches is that sometimes there was less understanding among the players. As a reason, you can just think of the match with Hull City where Manchester United was statistically ahead in all aspects but they could not score goals. Similarly, in the last match with Manchester City,  got a player red card and left the match. They were playing without one important player . Even after that, Manchester United could not fully utilize this opportunity and they lost the match. This proves that they have good players, they are performing well individually but even then they are not able to score goals. They are not able to maintain the winning streak. They still have a lot of potential, but the potential has not yet been converted into consistent performance.

Michael Carrick is doing his absolute best to ensure he's making good points with Manchester United but it seems he's facing challenges that's holding him down and making him not to perform up to expectations. Manchester United fans did brag a lot last season, they made compliments and chants about Michael Carrick winning the English premier League this season, but things are blowing out of proportion with Manchester United current poor form.

Manchester United fans you guys are forgetting it that the season just started and the team has not really gotten a hold of themselves mentally and otherwise, and you guys should be reminded that this is same Carrick that would win the EPL title for your team this season .
Because I could recall how when Carrick started as interim coach at almost to the end of the season with few games to play and won a good number of them with a few draws, a lot of Manchester United fans started boasting that if Carrick had started the season with this team then with what he's doing after Amorim sack, United would have won the title. You guys had to be patient with the players and coach as the season is just starting.

Everyone seen its Offside but the Var said no its a goal. Epl management need to investigate the Var referee its unfair everyone see it's Offside even on the TV screen all of my friends said its clear Offside but they count them. Phil Foden red was not a good decision they didn't even seen it on the Var and refree give him a direct red card I agree it's was unfair. Referee need to check the var and give them a yellow card and booked both of the player because Bruno also have some contacts when Foden lay down on the ground but in my opinion the referee was a little confused after giving red card to Foden so they give some kinda fair decision to Manchester City that's my take on the refree.

Manchester United have not started this season well and I hope they don't repeat the same mistake like last season and I still don't know what their real problem is because they didn't do well last season even though they improved when Carrick took over from Amorim mid season and now that they have started a new season under the same Carrick, I don't know what is still their problem and this will be frustrating for the fans because they have hoped for a better season with better performance because they believed that under Carrick they will be topping the table but I think that's not what we are experiencing right now, probably they will improve during the season but this will want to reduce their chances of being a title contender this season. I just want to believe that they are still trying to get themselves and improve but sitting 13th in the premier league table after 4 games is not a good start for the team.

You might be right on this one though, I believe he should be given time to put things in place, because the task ahead is not really an easy one, so I suggest he should not be rushed, I somehow trust on his process and I believe he's definitely going to come up with something, and again the players should help him also because this is a team work and it should be all hands on deck, and for the goal, many people believed it was a compensation goal for Manchester city because of the red card given to Phil Foden, but little did they know that compensation actually cost Manchester united a lot, the English FA and this VAR of a thing should be up and doing, because they are not really helping matter here.

Wow, a ban for a whole month, just the one that applies to national team games, what an inhumane punishment! In fact, they simply received an extra vacation to drink beer, take care of household chores and have fun. Honestly, even as a United supporter, I view all this post-match bickering with skepticism, it’s too late for that anyway. One day the referee makes a call against you, the next day it goes in your favor - you just have to play better in the end. But the fact that all these scandals are endless, even when VAR already exists, is annoying, this is still not the quality product that the most expensive league in the world should produce.

The team didn't play well against Manchester City, some people were busy blaming the coach but it's the players fault, they didn't play as a team even when Manchester City were given a red card. I'm wondering if this is a pattern by the players, when a new coach is appointed, they will play to impress the fans and coach and after some months they begin to play differently. The first match of the season that they lost, Manchester United of last season would have won it without stress. Apart from the VAR incident Manchester United were playing nonsense throughout the match, they could not create space for them to score even with the extra man they had at their disposal.

It is not enough to just create chances during a normal match, the most important thing is to convert those chances into results. The problem with Manchester United in this match was that they created chances but could not get good results with them. After being reduced to 10 men, Manchester United had a big chance to take control of the match. The sad thing is that they actually had problems due to which they could not fully use that chance.

Manchester City's good decisions kept the defensive shape and made Manchester United's attacks very predictable.
