However the society does not see the successful gambler as gambling addict. They treat them as role model for other gamblers which is not right.

Once you're being successful in gambling for a time, know that it's not all about that alone, it has to be maintained on be a consistent or regular experience you should be having, the challenge here now is that how many successful gamblers are addicted gamblers or maybe we should buy it this way that how many addicted gamblers were being successful.

As long as you are winning , people will appraise you even if you are addicted to gambling. That's a sad reality.

People will definitely see the success in what you do and not minding in knowing the path through which you've troaded on to have achieved such result with gambling, which is true that people were not after the process, all they want is the end results in what we do.

Yes, it is true that addiction will make a person poor, because I rarely see addicts becoming rich, on the contrary, it makes addicts bankrupt and moreover many commit suicide because of large debts because they are ashamed of their families, that's why they are always reminded to gamble with be responsible and gamble wisely because it is difficult to recover from addiction.

This is what I commonly see, hear, and read too. I guess the usual scenario of gambling addicts that don't have the means to sustain his vices in the first place really involves becoming poor because he isn't financially literate to begin with and having piled up burdens on their chest such as having anxiety, depression, and other mental illnesses because they neglect themselves. They prioritize gambling instead of taking care of themselves and their future. Which is really a problematic thing since it will have a chain reaction if you ever go downhill.

Most rich persons who became rich because of gambling, I can't really say they are addicted. I'd rather say they are passionate about gambling because they managed to grow profit by playing. In this case, they have what it takes to be successful such as the knowledge, determination, and of course discipline that made them achieve their current standing. They are as addicted as we think but the difference is that they are able to control themselves from not overspending which is why even they are into gambling every day but still, they keep on limits. That is why they become successful and their bad experience taught them something about how to stay in gambling without compromising their finances. Yes I agree with this, simply put people who gamble are addicted, but I think the addiction factor can be measured, how often they go there to gamble and how rarely they do it, it can be a benchmark for us to see whether they are already addicted at a high level or still below average. There is no denying that winning is their main goal why they always come to gamble.

True, everyone has their own amount to lose in gambling, some may only lose some of their pocket money and some may lose everything they have and not infrequently make their economy and family fall apart. Therefore, the truth is that even if you have the excuse that you are doing it for fun, it is still basically an addiction but in a low level, so it does not mean that you should continue doing it, and there is nothing better unless you stop doing it because it will only create new problems for your life.

     -   I'm not the type of gambler with an addiction because I only play when I want to, and the amount I gamble is limited, and when it runs out, I stop immediately. That's just what I do as a player in a casino here in cryptogaming. Although sometimes I feel tempted, somehow I overcome it. Because I know what happens when we give in to temptation.

I totally agree with your opinion about successful people in gambling and the general notion that most of them are gambling addicts because it's one thing to be successful in gambling and totally a different thing to be a gambling addict because.

That's not very common in other addictions. Maybe heroine addiction, where just a single time might ruin your brain for the future.

Whereas most other drugs like alcohol for example require a longer time to get into an addiction or a really negative experience.

there are two kind of addiction in gambling mate ..

- The one that continuously losing but keep on coming (accepting that he is a loser)

- The one that is good in gambling meaning some experts and yes a successful gambler.

Losing is part of the game,and winning is exiting,as a Gambler, prepare to always want to lose and set your mind so that it won't affect you when you lose.
I can't count how many times I have lose my money because of gambling,but I don't take it to consideration because before I played the game,I knew that losing is part of the game,If at the end of the day,you win, better,but if you lose,then you have nobody to blame.All that is needed is for one to take an appropriate risk,so that when it will favour you,it will be that you win big amount of money which will make you forget all your lose in the past.

The main problem is that people don't notice how much they are losing when they get some wins in between unless someone is keeping track of all their wagers and have a record of their wins and losses and then have an estimate at the end of the month or a year. But, most gamblers don't do that and only those who are responsible gamblers will keep track of their gambling activities and how much they are winning or losing in every gambling session.

So, an addicted gambler simply doesn't even know how much they are losing because they have gotten too deep into it. As you said, winning in gambling is fun and that is what addicted gamblers see only, and they don't even see that they have gambled all their money at the end of the day.
