I think it's not even a matter of religion really, just a matter of mentality itself. It just so turned out that the mentality of those people who developed the religion viewed gambling as something negative, which I don't blame, I mean the idea that gambling was bad originated from that era after all, it just continued on since no one bothered questioning it simply because they were the minority in each of their community.

It is hilarious how people associate the devil with almost literally anything they don't like though, in their eyes it's like a free pass to hate something.

I believe that this Type of behavior occurs a lot in third world Countries, because things like that in Europe , the USA , China , Japan , I don't think they are thinking about Something like that, the game is the game, the casino , betting is They see it as something normal and not as something negative. The people with whom I have talked about these things , are very dedicated to religion because some of them do nothing but live thinking about religion and everything that it means to have these things, there are people who, from the moment they wake up, what they do It is going to the churches to "work" but it is something that I do not Understand , because they do not receive any type of monetary gratification, and I wonder, how do these people make a living? how do they eat? with what? What do they give you only in Churches ? Only those who are pastors do is ask for money from those who attend, they ask for up to 10% of their salaries from each one, so that type of thing exceeds my logic about religion, something that does not fit in my Head.

So, in my opinion , that is bad, but not for them, because they have to maintain the status of a pastor who has everything , latest model trucks, a super luxurious house, and the best delicacies for them, I think sometimes people go too far stupid to believe that a pastor, father, pope, is closer to God the Heavenly Father than each one and their spiritual growth, and less that it has Something to do with casinos and Gambling.

This is what I did since I got married years back, I told my wife that I do like gambling and luckily it is not a problem for her.
I told her that she should help me to control my gambling habits just in case there is a time when I am out of control.
I have a plan to tell my son as well in the near future when he is mature enough to know about gambling, so there will be other who can help me to control my gambling habits.

If gambling secrets are applied in real life, such as land casinos, I think it will indeed be difficult because you have to travel to land casinos to gamble, and you won't even think that one day your friends or neighbors will also bet at the casino.

While I could understand the logic behind your thought process and I would say you're not entirely wrong. Societal pressures and hate from your peers when they find out you involve yourself in gambling is definitely detrimental to your mental health and social reputation. But I'd do you one better.

Try letting some of the people you trust the most that you're into gambling. Only the ones you trust the most, no one else. Why? Well if the eventuality comes that you need them for something, like connect you with a rehabilitation facility for when you feel like you've succumbed to gambling addiction, they know what to do right away. Well, it's understandable why people don't want their activities to be known around their neighborhood because it's not something that we should be proud of in the first place.
